Selling my 2002 Audi Allroad with 86,825 miles. This car has been treated very gently over the last few years, as I walk/ride to work and have another vehicle I use as a daily driver. All maintenance has been done by AutoHaus in Boulder, the best Audi mechanics around in my opinion.

I have the Carfax report for this car, which is very clean and very detailed. Also have paperwork for most recent servicing and repairs.

Timing belt service done around 83,000 miles

Air suspension compressor replaced about 2 weeks ago

3 out of 4 suspension airbags have been replaced with Arnott lifetime warranty bags over the last few years. Had the rear driver's side replaced Dec. 9, 2013, and the front two done in August 2010.

The 2002 Allroad has a manufacturer’s recall for the fuel tank rollover valve nipple. Had this issue repaired Jan 10, 2014 @ Audi of Boulder.

Had turbo and waste gates checked Dec. 9, 2013 and they all are in perfect working order.

Replaced hazard switch and flasher relay Dec. 9, 2013.

New key with remote cut @ Audi of Boulder Jan 14, 2014.

Battery replaced Oct. 2013.

Features:

2.7L Turbo engine

5 speed automatic tiptronic trans

Quattro all-wheel drive

Front and read heated leather seats

Driver and passender side electric 12 way seats

Rear parking sensor

6 disc in dash CD player with Bose Sound System

4 level height adjustable suspension

Auto height adjusting headlights and rearview mirror

Heated steering wheel and side mirrors - stereo controls on steering wheel as well

Dual climate control

Fully loaded, excluding navigation

Power locks, windows, moon roof, and mirrors all in perfect working order

All Electronics, power accessories, and LCD screens are working perfectly

Retractable sunshade factory mounted on rear windshield

Factory, adjustable/removable dog gate separates rear seats from trunk

Option to buy/take a Thule rack with Rocket box.

This car has been driven rarely over the last few years and it shows. All major services that plague Allroad's have been done (timing belt, air suspension, manufacturer’s recall), and the low mileage ensures this car has plenty of mileage and life left in it.

The torque converter intermittently triggers the check engine light.  It comes and goes. I’ve had the torque converter looked at three times because of this, and it is perfectly fine. For some reason it just temporarily triggers the light occasionally. There is also a small dent/chip on the top of the rear lift gate (see picture). This car also needs new tires pretty much ASAP. I was going to get some mounted, but I decided it would be best to let the new owner pick their own new tires. Aside from these issues and the typical scuffs and wear on a car this age, this Allroad is in amazing shape.

VW may make Bentley a subsidiary of Audi

Sun, Oct 25 2020

FRANKFURT — Volkswagen plans to make British luxury carmaker Bentley a subsidiary of its Audi division as it seeks economies of scale among its top-end brands, German trade publication Automobilwoche reported. Bentley, for now overseen by the head of VW's Porsche business, Oliver Blume, will from next year be part of Audi, where VW group Chief Executive Herbert Diess believes it has more potential, Automobilwoche cited company sources as saying. Synergies could include using Audi technology for a new Bentley SUV, it added. Volkswagen, which declined to comment on the report, is reviewing the future of its high-performance brands Lamborghini, Bugatti and Ducati motorcycles as part of broader quest for more economies of scale as it shifts to mass producing electric cars. Sources familiar with the matter told Reuters this month that Volkswagen was working on plans to prepare Lamborghini for a stock market listing. Related Video: Audi Bentley Volkswagen

2014 Audi SQ5 ditches diesel, still packs a punch

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

Over in Europe-land, the Audi SQ5 is a diesel-powered monster capable of sending a whopping 479 pound-feet of torque to its wheels. Naturally, this beast isn't coming to the States, but that doesn't mean we're missing out on the whole SQ5 experience altogether. At the Detroit Auto Show this week, Audi is debuting a new gasoline-powered version of the hot crossover, and while it's not quite the oil-burning dreamboat we've lusted after from afar, we certainly wouldn't kick it out of bed.
Instead of a diesel, we get a boosted version of Audi's supercharged 3.0-liter V6, good for 354 horsepower and 346 pound-feet of torque. Running through an eight-speed automatic transmission, the SQ5 will reportedly be able to fire off 0-60 times in the low-five-second range and will top out at an electronically limited 155 miles per hour. Suspension upgrades are on hand to improve road-going prowess, but also lower the Q5's stance a bit, too.
Because this is an S model, there are plenty of visual upgrades on hand, including a more aggressive front fascia, 20-inch wheels and some pretty new colors including Estoril Blue and Panther Black. Interior upgrades like Alcantara trim and aluminum brightwork add to some sportiness from the cockpit view, as well.

Don't buy that crossover! Buy a cladded wagon instead!

Fri, Nov 10 2017

If you're looking to buy a car soon, and you're like most Americans, there's a strong chance you're considering buying a crossover SUV. That's what people want nowadays. People like the tough, tall exterior that suggests adventure and preparedness, they like the high seating position, they like the all wheel drive many have and they like the practicality. Because of this, crossovers have rapidly supplanted typical cars such as sedans, wagons, and more as the most popular vehicles in the country. But they're compromised, too. They're often heavy, thirsty, and expensive compared with more conventional cars. The good news is, there's an alternative, a happy medium between the straight crossover and the traditional car. They're lifted wagons, and they're the best crossover SUVs around. And for those who may not know what we're talking about, we're talking about cars and wagons that have been given a suspension lift for more ground clearance and a higher ride height, and often have all wheel drive standard or optional. They also usually have chunky plastic body cladding to make them look tough and durable. Examples include the Subaru Crosstrek, Audi A4 Allroad, Buick Regal TourX, and Volkswagen Golf Alltrack, among others. Because of the suspension and body modifications, these vehicles fit the trendy crossover mold quite well. And in the case of long-running nameplates such as the Subaru Outback and Volvo Cross Country models, they even have some heritage as outdoorsy machines. They also provide the higher driving position that crossover buyers love. And in some cases, such as with the Golf Alltrack, we've learned they offer better ride quality than their road-oriented siblings. View 9 Photos So these tall wagons offer the key things crossover buyers want, but what makes them better than traditional crossovers is that they have the advantages of the cars they're based on. For instance, the aforementioned Golf Alltrack still drives mostly like a Golf, which is to say, it's nimble, feels peppy, and is easy to maneuver because of its relatively small size. We can't really say the same for the Tiguan, which feels generally more sluggish and uninteresting than the Alltrack. And we mention Volkswagen's compact crossover because it starts at nearly the same price as the Alltrack. Some of the difference in giddy-up can be explained by weight. Normal crossovers can be fairly portly, while these lifted wagons are notably lighter.
