Hello! Up for sale is a 2004 Audi Allroad Quattro. This car is in a great exterior and interior condition. The color is very nice gray metallic and it’s the original paint. It has 6-cylinder 2.7T engine with all-wheel drive 6-speed manual transmission. Plenty of power combined with famous Quattro all-wheel drive system makes this vehicle the best for all kinds of weather conditions, especially for winters. This vehicle has currently a little over 127000 miles.

This car looks and drives like new and it’s very clean inside and out. Please, look at the pictures, they say it all.

This vehicle is fully loaded. It has black/grey leather interior, powered heated seats and rearview mirrors, 8 airbags, sunroof, power windows, premium Bose stereo system with 6 CD-player and satellite radio, dual climate control, cruise control, ABS, traction control, parking sensors, central locking, alarm, factory xenon headlights, fog lights, 17’ alloy wheels, roof racks and much more. It has all matching almost brand new Michelin tires.

The vehicle equipped with famous Allroad air ride suspension, which is a great feature. This system has no issues with lifting up and holding air for weeks.

The engine and transmission work great. Timing belt, water pump and all possible seals and gaskets were replaced last week. Only original or high quality german made parts were used, no cheap junk.

Check engine light never comes on, neither any other warning lights. No fluids are leaking, no smell of any kind, there are all new brake pads.

Since the vehicle is used, it does have its small blemishes, such as slightly worn headlight switch, dent on rear bumper, burn mark on driver’s seat and couple of almost invisible dings on the left fender, nothing major at all. Please, see the pictures.

Radio and climate control buttons are in great shape. BTW, Audi has a recall for burned marks on the seats caused by heating element, so it can be replaced for free.

This vehicle just passed NYS inspection and it comes with clean NYS title.

Audi R18 suffers huge crash during Le Mans practice, driver conscious and alert

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

Loic Duval, driver of the #1 Audi R18 E-tron Quattro, suffered a massive crash today during free practice for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Duval's car reportedly went off track backwards at high speed near the Porsche Curves and flew into the retaining fence. There is no video of the actual crash at the moment, but a video of the aftermath (viewable below) shows significant damage to the Audi and to the fence. The wall nearby the car appears unaffected.
Thankfully, it occurred quite close to a marshal's stand, and they were present almost immediately after the incident. Both the official press release from the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a tweet from Audi Sport (below) indicated that Duval was conscious after the crash, and he was taken by ambulance to the medical center and then to the hospital. The press release says: "His condition is encouraging." However, any injuries he might have sustained are unknown at this time. After the crash, the course was red flagged, and practice resumed about 50 minutes later.
Duval is alert. He will be transported from the Medical Center to the hospital for further examinations #R18 #LM24 @FIAWEC @24hoursoflemans

'Rich Kid of Instagram' victim of supercar arsonists

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

A 19-year-old in the UK is smarting after the possibility that his prolific social media use may be at the heart of four family-owned supercars going up in flames in barely a week. Aleem Iqbal has thousands of followers on Twitter and Instagram paying attention to his frequent posts about the high-priced cars he's driving. He's even been featured on the Tumblr page Rich Kids of Instagram. It appears that some people might not be so smitten with him, though.
According to his Twitter profile, Iqbal owns Platinum Executive Travel, a luxury car rental company in the England, and UK newspaper The Telegraph claims the company is also owned by Iqbal's father. On June 6, cameras caught three hooded men setting fire to a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster leased by the company for a wedding. A few days later, two Audi R8 Spyders and a Bentley Continental Flying Spur from Platinum also got the torch, and two men were caught on camera setting the blaze. Nobody was hurt in either of the attacks, and the Aventador appeared to be repairable with the fire causing most damage to the passenger seat and dashboard. Police are still investigating both of the crimes.
According to The Telegraph, Iqbal believes that the arsons could have stemmed from jealousy towards him and his family's business. Regardless, setting fire to a bunch of cars that are likely insured isn't a great way to show displeasure.

Audi leading rival BMW in worldwide luxury sales race

Tue, 11 Mar 2014

If you thought competition among the German luxury automakers was hot before, it looks like things are just getting started. For the first two months of the year, Audi has sold more cars than BMW worldwide by just 383 cars.
Audi claims to have sold 242,400 vehicles through February, up 9.3 percent from last year, compared to 242,017 units from BMW, up 8.9 percent, in the same period. While the advantage is tiny, its implications could be huge because Bimmer has been the leader in the premium car segment for the last nine consecutive years. Mercedes-Benz lags behind them somewhat at 229,630 vehicles through February. According to Bloomberg, at this time last year Audi had sold 429 fewer cars than BMW.
The growth is all part of Volkswagen Group's goal to become the world's largest automaker. It currently ranks in second when its heavy truck businesses are considered. The German automotive giant also wants to be the world's leading premium carmaker. "Competition in the premium segment is more intense than ever," said Audi CEO Rupert Stadler to Bloomberg.
