Up for sale is my 2004 Audi A8 L with 56000 miles black exterior with beige leather interior. I’m the second owner of the car. It’s well cared for and fully loaded with factory and aftermarket options. The tires were replaced recently with less than 10000 miles on them. These tries are low profile and bigger than factory and give the car that desirable wider stance. The tires also accompany a road hazard warranty which is transferable. The car has been babied and serviced regularly…I’m a car buff!! Here’s a list of aftermarket options added since I’ve owned it:

  1. Custom front sports grille with badges and custom badges all around including the trunk ($2000 body shop fees)
  2. Top of the line Gateway GW51MO2 device ($1000 option) with IPhone/IPod integration, auxiliary audio (music on USB stick and played on the device) and video option. All music playing options can be controlled from the phone of from the factory controls on the radio. See pics
  3. Gateway Bluetooth for hands free phone calls and stream music from your phone ($300 option).
  4. Viper remote start system (top of the line) with Smart start which means you can start, lock/unlock, and open the trunk from your Apple or Android phone ($1500 option). See pics
  5. Rear trunk lid spoiler
  6. Professionally tinted windows
  7. Custom Kuda base and phone mount professionally installed

Key factory options:

  1. Xenon headlights
  2. Heated and cooled leather seats
  3. Factory Bose sound system
  4. Adjustable suspension with a push of a button
  5. Navigation
  6. Power rear window shades, and manual side window shades
  7. Premium 19 inch factory wheels

Here’s list of known issues:

  1. The power trunk lift system does not work well, I believe the motor is getting weak due to age.
  2. Minor scratches and scuffs, normal for its age
  3. There's a very slight barely noticeable coolant leak under the right front side of the bumper. Does not cause the coolant level to go down. My theory is probably happened during mounting of front bumper after the custom grille installed two years ago by the body shop. Probably a slightly loose radiator hose. Has not bothered me to a point to address it...just mentioning it here in the interest of full disclosure

2013 Audi Allroad

Reincarnated With A Smaller And Less Passionate Soul
Mention the name "Allroad" to most automotive enthusiasts, and it's likely to conjure up images of the Audi A6 Allroad Quattro, first introduced in 1999. That car-like alternative to a sport utility vehicle was based on the German automaker's A6 Avant wagon. But unlike its luxurious road-going sibling, the Allroad was an on- and off-road variant fitted with an advanced height-adjustable air suspension for additional ground clearance, rugged tires on oversized wheels to improve off-pavement grip and unpainted flared fenders and bumpers to protect it from rugged use. That original A6 Allroad arrived with Audi's powerful twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6, more to offset its increased weight than to boost performance, and was eventually offered with a 4.2-liter V8 before it was discontinued in 2005.
Fast forward eight years, and Audi has introduced its replacement - now based on the smaller A4 Avant wagon.

Audi building 50 camouflaged Jon Olsson Edition A4 Avant wagons [w/video]

Thu, 13 Feb 2014

Swedish Autoblog readers, have you been driving your Audi A4 Avant wagons and thought, 'You know, I really wish my car looked more like a camouflaged World War II battleship?' Well, great news for you, as skier and Audi enthusiast Jon Olsson has teamed up with the German brand's Swedish outfit to offer this new limited-edition A4 Avant.
Finished in a camo patterned after Olsson's own RS6 Avant (which you can view in the video below) and slope-ready Lamborghini Gallardo, the Jon Olsson Camo Edition will cost fans of Smörgåsbord 399,900 Swedish Krona ($62,071 at today's rates). For that sum, you'll get the aforementioned A4 Avant wrapped in the Olsson-designed camo, as well as sport seats, a roof box, Xenon headlights, black 19-inch wheels shod in winter rubber, a sport suspension and Audi's S-Line exterior treatment. The Camo Edition will only be available with the 2.0-liter TDI engine and Quattro all-wheel drive.
There will only be 50 examples made, so we'd strongly recommend interested parties get down to their local Swedish Audi dealer. And if you want to see what the Camo Edition looks like in motion, scroll down for the video of Olsson's Audi RS6 Avant, finished in a similar pattern, running around Switzerland. We've also included the translated press release from Audi of Sweden. Have a look.

Audi introduces leaner, fitter second-generation Q7

Tue, Jan 13 2015

After a long run on the market, Audi has finally signaled the end of the first-generation Q7 with the introduction of the long-awaited second-gen version of the brand's first crossover. The 2016 Q7 is a far lighter machine than the vehicle it replaces, thanks to ample use of hot-shaped steel and aluminum. Beyond that, the Volkswagen Group's MLB platform will allow the fullsize Audi to accommodate a range of engines, including more potent versions of the US market's 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 and 3.0-liter TDI. On top of that, the next-gen Q7 will also be available as a diesel plug-in hybrid, complete with a version of the brand's Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The Q7's new design, meanwhile, gives the car an almost wagon-like appearance and profile. The "Singleframe" grille is wrapped in an aluminum-looking surround, not unlike Audi's smaller RS Q3. Audi's cleanly styled headlights flank it, while the large taillights aren't as aggressively angled as Audi's other crossovers. The cabin is lavish, featuring a typically stylish design with plenty of tech. A 12.3-inch TFT display takes the place of a conventional instrument cluster, while the center stack is crowned by its very own display. Even the HVAC display controls are handsome. You can see exactly what we mean in our gallery of live images of the new Q7, straight from the floor of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show.
