UPDATE: Had full synthetic oil change and timing belt water pump service done YESTERDAY 8/16/13. replaced all parts. pulleys, tensioner gaskets hardware, everything in the system. I have a 2004 Audi A8L that has been the best car that my family has owned. We are looking to sell it to reduce our "fleet" It has higher miles (High way) but has been checked out by Good Karma in North East Minneapolis and it all checks out, they said "this is really a nice car. I would never guess it has as many miles as it does." The paint, Burgundy Red Pearl effect, is nearly spotless and still shines like it was new. The interior is in great shape with no rips in the heated, and cooled leather seats. Air ride system works as should, MMI works. I have both the CarFax and the AutoCheck reports available upon request. Ask questions PLEASE. Has almost every option, except the back up camera (IT DOES HAVE parking sensors) or the solar roof, which were junk and gimmicky. Plus you don't actually get the sunroof with the solar option. MPG 17 city 25 Hwy. Pretty good for a BIG 330hp V8 ! As with all Audi A8L's it is AWD Quattro, and has a 6 speed Automatic (Triptronic) transmission. I have 2 full sets of wheels with good tires. Audi builds its six-millionth Quattro-equipped car
Tue, 15 Jul 2014All-wheel drive has become the norm particularly among German automakers. Mercedes offers its 4Matic system on a broad range of models, BMW counters with its xDrive system, Volkswagen has 4Motion, and the only Porsche you actually can't get with all-wheel traction is the Boxster/Cayman. But before all its competitors got on board with channeling power to all four wheels, Audi was making a name for itself with its Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
Now 34 years since the advent of the original Audi Quattro, the House of the Four Rings has built its six millionth vehicle equipped with all-wheel drive - only a year and a half since it hit the five-million mark. In fact these days nearly half of all new Audis are ordered in Quattro spec - more than any other automaker - resulting in a total of 710,095 Quattro-equipped Audis produced last year alone.
The landmark 6,000,000th vehicle was an SQ5 in monsoon gray metallic that rolled off the assembly line on Friday and is bound for a customer right here in the United States.
Audi A3 G-Tron offers big range, few emissions

Audi is exploring a variety of sustainable transportation technologies beyond the traditional diesel, hybrid, plug-in and electric options, including the compressed natural gas A3 Sportback G-Tron that debuted today at the Geneva Motor Show.
The most interesting thing about this rather innocuous-looking A3 Sportback is that when run on Audi e-gas, the car becomes completely carbon neutral, emitting no more CO2 than was chemically input in this special fuel's production. Audi has already broken ground on a new plant - powered by renewable energy, of course - that uses electrolysis to produce e-gas, which could then be made available through any natural gas distribution network.
