If you have questions, please call RA-SON at 323-898-2953 THIS IS A GREAT 2005 AUDI ALLROAD 4.2 V8. IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION COSMETICALLY AND MECHANICALLY. IT NEEDS NOTHING BUT A NEW OWNER, AND LOOKS AND DRIVES GREAT. RARE ALPACA BEIGE METALLIC OVER TAN LEATHER, AND ONLY 137,XXX MILES. THIS CAR IS LOADED WITH OPTIONS; PREMIUM PACKAGE, CD CHANGER, 17” ALLOY SPOKE WHEELS, AND MORE. Exterior 8 out of 10 (I'm finicky) - Great overall condition paint, body, glass, and trim. Only a few minor touched-up scratches and other normal signs of use (some rub marks to center of rear plastic bumper cover for example). This Allroad looks great, with a deep shine to its glossy metallic paint. This car looks great even under fluorescent light in a garage! This Allroad 4.2 has all its original body panels. The lower body moldings are in great shape. Chrome, rubber, trim is all very nice. No significant oxidation, no fade, wear, rust, etc. Look at the body panels.....they are laser straight. The door panels and wood trim are also in great shape, like the rest of the car. Mechanically 10 out of 10 - Engine starts, idles, runs, and revs to redline in every gear smooth and strong. Transmission is smooth yet aggressive, and downshifts eagerly. This Allroad runs at high speed with no vibrations or noises. There are no leaks. Fully inspected and serviced; drive without worry! This Allroad drives smooth, quiet, and tight like a new car. Engine is strong and VERY eager to run, transmission smooth and ready to drop down two gears at your command to rocket you past slower traffic. Brakes are solid and pedal feel is firm. Air suspension is tight like new with no leakdown, but floats on a cloud just like an Allroad is supposed to do. Steering nicely weighted with no play in the box. This car drives and handles like new. Winning bidder must send a $2000 deposit via wire transfer or bank/cashier’s check within 48 hours, and pay the balance within five additional days. Car and paperwork are ready to be delivered when all funds are CLEAR in my account. Title sometimes lags by a few days when held by the bank but a 20-day temp tag is provided to all buyers. There is a $199 documentation/mailing/title transfer fee on ALL cars. Car is sold as-is, where-is, and there are no warranties expressed or implied, exclusive of what ebay may offer to the buyer. These are your top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012
Mon, Jan 7 2013Despite 2012 being the best year of auto sales this country has seen since 2007, not every vehicle got an equally large share of the sales pie. Some barely got a sliver, as evidenced by this year's list of the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. We've dug through sales data from every automaker to come up with this year's list and, like last year, we've set some parameters to ensure it includes legitimately bad-selling vehicles. The first parameter is a starting MSRP under $100,000, which automatically excludes what's parked in most one-percenters' garages. We're also excluding vehicles cancelled in 2012, even if they garnered sales through the end of the year while dealerships sold off remaining inventory. This includes models like the Mitsubishi Eclipse, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and last year's worst-seller, the Acura RL. Next, vehicles are considered as they are reported by the automaker, which means that, while sales of the Murano CrossCabriolet were probably low enough to make the list, because Nissan reports only one number for all Murano sales, it was excluded. Cadillac, however, reports sales of the Escalade EXT separately from the Escalade, hence its repeat appearance. Finally, there was the question of whether or not eligibility should be given to Suzuki vehicles, as the brand announced in November that it would end sales in the US as soon as its current inventory ran out. We decided Suzuki vehicles should be included as the brand was offering 2013 models at the time of the announcement, and as far as we can tell, inventory levels remained high enough to satisfy demand through the end of the year. Without further ado, below are the top 10 worst-selling vehicles of 2012. Top 10 Worst-Selling Vehicles of 2012 10. Volvo C30 MSRP: $25,500 Units Sold: 2,827 Last Year: – 9. MotorWeek revisits Audi's iconic Quattro
Tue, 11 Nov 2014The Subaru WRX, Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution and just about every other all-wheel-drive performance car owes something to the legendary Audi Quattro, a model that was far more successful on the motorsports scene than it was in the showroom. Despite its modest sales, the UrQuattro still looms large in automotive lore, and indeed, in Audi's own sense of self. Considering the brand's semi-regular flirtation with the idea of a reborn Quattro, MotorWeek must have figured it'd be a good idea to revisit the original by digging up this archival review.
While time has the ability to cover up the warts of iconic automobiles, it should be noted that Motor Week host John Davis had more than a few critiques for the all-wheel-drive, turbocharged coupe.
Davis calls the Quattro's slalom handling "a disappointment," citing the overpowered engine and slow steering, and he had some unkind words for the brakes, as well. For our part, we're kind of wowed by the amount of ship-like body motion during testing, yet that sort of bobbing was certainly par for the course back in the early '80s.
2015 Audi S3 configurator goes live with all the black and silver paint you've hoped for
Tue, 12 Aug 2014It has already been nearly a year since we completed our First Drive of the premium pocket rocket Audi S3, with official pricing for the car detailed earlier this summer. Those are facts, but facts won't help you while away your lunchtime in blissful, car-dreaming reverie, will they?
No, for help with imagining just exactly the kind of Audi S3 that you'd like to put in your garage, the freshly launched configurator is just the thing.
Every 2015 Audi S3 will come with 2.0T power under the hood - to the tune of 292 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The most basic Premium Plus trim (an interesting renaming of "entry level" we'll grant you) starts at $41,100 before destination, while the higher-content Prestige asks $47,000. The extra six grand buys you full LED lighting, tri-zone climate control, S model appearance upgrades like quad exhaust tips and a more advanced infotainment suite with Bang & Olufsen sound.
