This is a really great car. Fun to drive, as controlled as a racecar, incredible power (we're talking about an Audi here, after all), and I've never seen a sedan that can handle itself so well in the slick Utah snow.

The exterior is a beautiful silver, sleek but not too flashy, and is in great condition.

For those of you who either live under a rock or who are unfamiliar with luxury vehicles after 1995 (or both), the interior is equipped with power everything, heated everything, sunroof, fully-working A/C and heater, and comfortable leather seats, the kind that don't get too hot after sitting out in the Utah sun. The stereo sound is magical, like a built-in soundtrack to your life.

The transmission is automatic, and it shifts smoothly, with the option to switch into manual when you want. And, thanks to some sweet German engineering, you get 8-cylinders of power while only paying 6-cylinders of gas mileage. 12 years old and the engine still purrs like a kitten.

Alright, down to the brass tacks: this really is a good car. Blue Book quotes the value at $4,900, I’m asking $4,000 (or best offer) for it to account not only for the cost of repairs but the time required. You must pick up the vehicle in person. XCAR shows how Audi engineers let loose with A1 Quattro

In its ultimate mortal guise, the Audi A1 Black Edition - the littlelest little guy Audi makes - costs 22,340 pounds ($33,705 US) in the UK and comes with a turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder that outputs, at most, 182 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The Audi A1 Quattro - still employing the body of the littlelest little guy Audi makes - costs more than 41,020 pounds ($61,888 US) gets a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder from the Audi TTS with 252 hp and 258 lb-ft. And quattro. And 17-inch, center-locking, white wheels.
The crew at XCAR gets the A1 Quattro on video, to both question how the A1 Quattro happened and then to praise it even if they never found the answer. The hosannas come too late for anyone in the UK who was waffling about buying one, however, since all 19 meant for the 'sceptered isle are sold out. Audi exec denies plans for turbo R8

Sometimes smoke doesn't lead to fire. Rumors indicated Audi might drop a turbocharged engine into the latest R8, but now a top executive is throwing a bucket of cold water onto the burning speculation. "The performance potential of this current engine means we don't need to even look at turbocharging at this point," Jurgen Konigstedt, Audi development boss for V6, V8, and V10 engines, said to CarAdvice. He also said sticking with natural aspiration offered a better sound and sharper throttle response than going with forced induction. "There is less emotion with a turbocharged engine," he said. Konigstedt admitted there was a serious discussion about turbocharging the R8. The argument just didn't win out. "If we feel that people absolutely want a turbocharged engine, then we will have to consider it," he said to CarAdvice. Audi just launched a new generation of the supercar. The 2017 R8's 5.2-liter V10 will be available in two tunes: with 540 horsepower in the standard coupe or 610 hp in the Plus. Rumors have persisted about a smaller, forced induction powerplant at the bottom of the range. Some reports suggested a twin-turbo V6 behind the driver, but others said the electrically supercharged 2.5-liter inline five was a candidate. The reason for the entry-level addition was tied to lowering the taxes on the R8 in markets like China. Related Video:
