This car is in good running condition. Gets about 24mpg overall, 148K miles. Seats up to 7 with 3rd row rear facing seat. We've upgraded to a larger vehicle (van) so we don't need this car.
We are at least third owner (not sure about the history before the previous owner). We've owned the car for a couple of years, using it mostly as a commuter (300+ miles per week). When we bought it, we had to replace the water pump. We've done regular maintenance (oil, tires, fluids, etc.) but no other repairs to the car.
WA state tabs are good through January 2014.
The condition of the car is noted below.
Exterior:
No dents or major defects.
Some paint scratches on the color-matched bumpers.
All outside electrical/lights/signals work.
Minor vibration from AWD at speeds of 30-45mph.
Good running condition, engine/transmission are strong and smooth.
Interior:
Power windows/doors work.
AC blows very cold.
CC works well.
Integrated phone was removed by previous owner.
Headliner loose/wrinkled by sunroof.
Leather seats have cracking and wear.
Power outlets do not have power.
Rear outside door latch is disconnected (works from inside).
Oil pressure sending unit not working (oil pressure is fine).
BOSE stereo system isn't working.
Rear facing third row seat is loose on one end.
Kelley Blue Book values this vehicle in FAIR condition at $4,236.00. The running condition of the car is FAIR-to-GOOD, but the interior is in low FAIR condition. We've priced the car to reflect these conditions.
Vehicle inspection and test drives can be arranged in the local area. We are in Gig Harbor, and can meet there or along the I-5 corridor between Tacoma and Everett. Contact us if you are interested.
Cash or cashier's check will be accepted. No terms or monthly/time payments, please.

Audi scores first CA autonomous car permit
Wed, 17 Sep 2014Audi apparently knows how to get to the front of a line when it comes to driverless vehicles. The German automaker had the honor of being the very first company to receive one of California's new autonomous vehicle driving permits. It was a perfect followup to it being among the earliest ones to get a similar permit in Nevada a few years ago.
Getting the California permit is a big deal for the automaker because the state is also home to Audi's Electronics Research Lab. Among its current projects, Audi is working on the human-machine interface to communicate whether the person or vehicle is actually controlling the driving. All of this hard work is building toward offering autonomous motoring in freeway conditions in the next five years, Audi claims.
Obviously, autonomous vehicles from companies like Google have been testing in California for a while, but the new permits are meant to safeguard public safety when testing the driverless cars in public. The new rules include things like always having a person able to take control and more stringent standards like registering each autonomous car and the eligible drivers with the state. Any models testing on public roads also have to carry at least $5 million in insurance in case of injury, death or property damage.
Audi RS3 spy shots foreshadow an ultra-hot hatch
Fri, 04 Oct 2013Not all vehicle prototypes and mules require heavy camouflage - sometimes they can be hidden in plain sight. That's probably what Audi was hoping for while testing its new RS3 wearing S3 duds, but thanks to some visual and audible telltales, our spy photographers were able to recognize this as a precursor to the marque's ultra-hot hatch testing near the Nürburgring.
Our photographer noticed the signature exhaust note of a five-cylinder engine, which suggests the RS3 could borrow its motivation from the excellent TT RS. Producing at least 340 horsepower, this 2.5-liter turbo powerplant could be the perfect answer for the new A45 AMG from Mercedes-Benz. The big brakes on this RS3 mule give us our best idea about the car's high-performance intentions, with Audi RS wave brake rotors and six-piston calipers peering out from behind the oversized wheels.
In production form, the RS3 should have a much different appearance from what you see here, with sportier design cues including oval-shaped dual exhaust outlets and a more aggressive front fascia. While we're still waiting for our first taste of the S3 in the North America, we'll be holding our breath for the RS3 to make its way here, as well.
Audi claims America unfairly pushes electrics over diesels, backed by survey
Fri, 15 Nov 2013Audi, in case you haven't noticed, is quite committed to diesel technology. It champions oil burners in both the racing world and to consumers, offering American customers a total of five diesel-powered models, which is more than any brand in the US market save for its parent company, Volkswagen. In a bid to prove that diesels aren't some passing trend and are actually gaining momentum in the US, Audi commissioned Harris Interactive to conduct a poll of 1,600 American drivers, to see how they felt about diesel power. The resulting statistics are rather surprising.
57 percent of the 1,629 drivers surveyed think the government has unfairly favored hybrids and electrics over diesel power
65 percent of drivers support laws being passed to make diesel more accessible, while 66 percent support tax incentives for diesel-powered vehicles
