Hi. It hurts me to be selling this beauty, but for financial reasons I must. Let me give you a brief history of this car so that when you buy it you will feel the same love for this car as I have.

I purchased this car on April 1st 2013 with 48996 miles (now it has 54,188). The previous owner was the first owner, I'm now the second (although I picked it up from a Land Rover dealership, so technically I may be the 3rd). Prior to purchasing the car, I took it to an Audi Dealership (Audi of Nashua) and for $187, they performed a pre-sale inspection. The results were excellent! They told me to buy the car.

At the purchase, I also decided to buy an extended warranty by "Continental Warranty Inc." which covers the car for 60k miles more or 60 months. This warranty will also be transfered to the new owner.

At around 52k miles, I decided to complete the 50k tune-up to this car which includes the following:

  • Spark Plugs
  • Air Filter
  • Fuel Filter
  • Pollen Filter
  • Oil Filter
  • Oil
  • Transmission Oil

Because I felt a little shaking in the steering wheel while braking, I also decided to change the brakes at the same time:

  • Front Brake Disks
  • Rear Brake Disks
  • Front and Rear Brake Pads
  • Brake Fluid

Since the car came with snow tires, I also bought 4 new all season tires and had the rims refurbished and re-painted.

Now the car has only 54,200 miles and is in great running and looking state! You don't have to do anything to this car other than drive it and enjoy it as I have!

I also have the original floor mats (in the trunk), but I have purchased Audi OEM rubber floor mats.

As you can see, since April 1 2013 till now I have put very few miles on it and have kept the car in garage at all times. The car gets waxed at least once a month and the finish is smooth to the touch. The car drives great and has some pretty good power along with great all-wheel drive handling. Car has never been in an accident and has no issues to this date! The inside is immaculate and still has that new car smell!

I have a wife, but this car is my baby, hence you can imagine my wife getting angry at me cause I treat my car better than I treat her!

I want to assure anyone purchasing this car that they will get an awesome car!

Please don't hesitate to contact me with any and every question you may have about this beauty!

Thanks!

2013 Audi RS Q3

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

The year 1994 was a really good year for German performance fans, because it was that year when Audi released its very first official RS model (for "RennSport," or racing sport), the RS2 Avant. Recently, I was invited to participate in a three-day leg of the Audi Land of Quattro Alpen Tour, a blatant flaunting over hill and dale of the company's current lineup of RS models. We hit Austria, Switzerland and Italy - the roads were epic and the weather held for this exquisite boondoggle.
Our chief focus on this tour, which included the RS6 Avant and RS7, was the newcomer RS Q3 small crossover that will absolutely never be coming to North America, but which starts deliveries in November of this year. This no-North America policy is because we still don't have enough customers who see the thrill or sense in a $52,000 all-wheel-drive baby sport utility that gets to 60 miles per hour from a stop in under five seconds. Meanwhile, in crazy, drunken Europe, orders for this ridiculous, wondrous set of wheels have, to quote Quattro head of technical development Stephan Reil, "far outstripped the limited production numbers of the business case." Those silly Europeans, don't they know that an RS Q3 makes no sense at all? Sheesh.

Audi to abandon CVTs?

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

The continuously variable transmission is one of those technologies that seems to make a lot of sense on paper, but in reality, almost always numbs the driving experience. That's one reason why Audi, according to reports, is planning to phase them out.
One of the first automakers to implement use of the CVT, Audi mates CVTs to larger engines than many other manufacturers, which typically install them on scooters, hybrids and small-displacement hatchbacks. But the time of the Audi CVT (which it calls Multimatic) may be near its end as a report from Australia indicates that Ingolstadt is moving toward a two-gearbox lineup that does not include the rubber-band transmission.
Instead, Audi is said to be focusing its attention on the S-tronic dual-clutch transmission and on conventional torque-converter automatics - although the development of beefier DCTs could spell the end of the Audi slushbox, as well. We've reached out to Audi for comment, so watch this space for confirmation.
