2009 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro - Prestige
This is an extremely well maintained 2009 Audi A4, with just over 41,000 miles. It is equipped with the Turbo charged, 2 Liter 4 cylinder engine, with automatic (tiptronic) transmission. Brilliant Black with Black leather seats, it is the fully loaded Prestige package (Audi’s highest trim level) with power windows, central locking, power seats with 3 way memory, dual zone climate control, electric sun/moon roof and AM/FM Radio with 6 disc CD Changer. In addition to these typical features, this car additionally has the following: Navigation Satellite Radio Bang & Olufsen Premium 12 speaker Stereo iPod hookup Backup Camera Smart Key – touch the door handle to open, Start/Stop Button Side Assist – Audi’s lane departure warning system Bi-Xenon Headlights with LED Daytime Running Lights
It also has the legendary Audi safety features with dual air bags, as well Quattro All Wheel Drive. I love this car and don’t want to sell it, but I needed a wagon for work.
Vehicle Condition: This Audi is a great car in excellent condition, but it is a used vehicle and is by no means perfect. I will try to give an honest and comprehensive description
Mechanical: The car runs and shifts extremely well. This has been a daily driver for the year and has proved to be extremely comfortable, safe and reliable. The oil has been changed regularly, with the correct 5W-40 synthetic (I use Lubri-Moly – expensive, but worth it).
Interior: The seats are clean and have no rips or tears. The Dashboard, roof lining and carpets are also all clean and smoke free. All electronics work as they should, including the seat heaters. The interior is nearly perfect, and I would rate it 9.5 out of 10.
Exterior: The exterior paint shines brilliantly. There are stone chips on the front bumper and a hairline crack (see pics). The trunk lid has a small scratch, but otherwise, the car is in great shape. All glass is in good condition. The rear bumper has been repainted, it had been done when I bought the car, I suspect by the dealer to repair parking dings. Overall I would rate the exterior to be 9 out of 10.
The tires are 245/40-18 Continental DWS Extreme Contacts and have about a year of life left in them. These are excellent tires in wet and snowy conditions. They are mounted on 5 spoke A5 replica rims, also in good condition.
The car has not been involved in any accidents, and has a clean carfax. I do have an outstanding lien on this car so the title will be issued once payment has been received and my bank has been paid off.
Terms of Sale: This is a 7 day auction, but I reserve the right to end the auction early due to local sale. Please do not bid on this car if you are not serious, or do not already have the finances in place. $500.00 non–refundable deposit due within 48 hours of auction’s end, with balance payable within 7 days of auction’s end. Winning bidder will be responsible for all shipping costs. I will deliver the car free within a 50 mile radius of zip code 20904. This car is being offered for sale AS-IS, and there is NO WARRANTY, expressed or implied. While I have tried to describe the condition of the vehicle as accurately as possible, please bear in mind that this is a used car with relatively high mileage, and as such may have normal wear and tear that I have missed in my description.
Thanks for bidding, and Good Luck! |

2015 Audi RS7 Dynamic Edition strutting to NY
Tue, 15 Apr 2014The Audi RS7 is already one of the most stylish sports sedans (hatch, wagon, whatever...) on the road today with flowing roof and hunkered down appearance. Now the German automaker is taking that formula even further with the introduction of the RS7 Dynamic Edition at the 2014 New York Auto Show, and the addition of a long list of unique options.
When it goes on sale early this summer, the Dynamic Edition won't come cheap. Prices start at $146,045, which is $41,145 over a base RS7. The extra money allows opulent additions like Black Valcona honeycomb-stitched leather sport seats, Crimson Red seatbelts and interior stitching, Tornado Red brake calipers with the RS7 logo, Audi's Dynamic Ride Control suspension and a sport exhaust. It rides on 21-inch, five-spoke wheels with Gloss Black accents. Also carbon fiber pieces replace the front splitter, rear diffuser and engine cover.
The DRC suspension is a late addition to the RS7's options list and comes standard on the Dynamic Edition. It uses three-stage adjustable dampers that are cross-linked and integrated into the driving mode selection and rear differential.
24 Hours of Le Mans live update part two
Sun, Jun 19 2016We tasked surfing journalist Rory Parker to watch this year's live stream of the 2016 24 Hours of Le Mans. What follows is an experiment to experience the world's greatest endurance race from the perspective of a motorsports novice. Parker lives in Hawaii and can hold his breath longer than he can go without swearing. For Part One, click here. Or you can skip ahead to Part Three here. I write about surfing for a living. If you can call it a living. Basically means I spend my days fucking around and my wife pays for everything. Because she's got a real job that pays well. Brings home the bacon. Very progressive arrangement. Super twenty first century. I run a surf website, beachgrit.com, with two other guys. It's a strange gig. More or less uncensored. Kind of popular. Very good at alienating advertisers. My behavior has cost us a few bucks. I'm terrible at self-censorship. Know there's a line out there, no idea where it lies. I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. For contests I do long rambling write ups. They rarely make much sense. Mainly just talk about my life, whatever random thoughts pop into my head. "Can you do something similar for Le Mans?" "Sure, but I know absolutely fuck-all about racing." "That's okay. Just write what you want." "Will do. But you're gonna need to edit my stuff. Probably censor it heavily." So here I am. I spent the last week trying to learn all I can about the sport of endurance racing. But there's only so much you can jam in your head. And I still don't understand any of the technical side. Might as well be astrophysics or something. While I rambled things were happening. Tracy Krohn spun into the gravel on the Forza chicane. #89 is out of the race after an accident I missed. Pegasus racing hit the wall on the Porsche curves. Bashed up front end, in the garage getting fixed. Toyota and Porsche are swapping back and forth in the front three. Ford back in the lead in GTE Pro. #91 Porsche took a stone through the radiator, down two laps. Not good. The wife and I are one of those weird childless couples that spend way too much time caring for the needs of their pet. French bulldog, Mr Eugene Victor Debs. Great little guy. Spent the last four years training him to be obedient and friendly. Nice thing about dogs, when you're sick of dealing with them you can just lock 'em in another room for a few hours. You don't need to worry about paying for college.
Audi Sport sets up new shop in Neuburg
Thu, 04 Sep 2014Racing fans may know Audi best for its Le Mans team that's positively dominated the endurance racing scene. But as formidable as its Le Mans program is, that's only one of the racing disciplines in which Audi competes. It also competes in the full FIA World Endurance Championship, as well as Germany's popular DTM touring car series and supports customer teams in GT racing series around the world. And now the competition division is getting a new headquarters.
Audi Sport has until now been based in an old supermarket near to the company's head offices in Ingolstadt, but is now moving into a brand new, state-of-the-art facility 12 miles to the west in nearby Neuburg. The result of some 20 years of planning and two years of construction, the complex covers 116 acres of land in Neuburg-Heinrichsheim and will house engineers, technicians and other staff who deal with the R18 E-Tron Quattro, the RS5 DTM and R8 LMS Ultra that compete the world over.
The facility was officially opened this past Saturday with participation from top Audi brass and local government officials and included demonstrations from all three of those racecars around the on-site test track. The works team has begun moving in and the customer racing department will move into its new Motorsport Competence Center in the first half of 2015.
