2009 AUDI A4 QUATTRO 2.0T PREMIUM PLUS

You are looking at a very clean, extremely well kept 2009 Audi A4 Quattro 2.0T. This is a three (3) owner Florida vehicle. It has no accident history, no body repairs and is clean all around. Carfax record is clean also. It has been a non-smoking vehicle and always kept in a garage. It has the front end clear plastic film installed to prevent any rock chips / debris from damaging it as well as on the side view mirrors. The interior is black leather with the "aluma-look" trim package from factory. It has a premium sound system (non-Bose), 6 CD changer, with iPod cable in the glove box integrated and bluetooth capability. It also has the LED headlight package which really makes the car stand out. All power equipment on the vehicle is working perfect. There are zero defects known on this vehicle. It is one of the best handling vehicles I have driven and handles even better in the rainy season! A very safe and fun vehicle to drive. It has an aftermarket air filter (K&N) with carbon fiber air box installed (was on vehicle when purchased from the Collection in 2012 under CPO) and an aftermarket muffler (APR performance, was on vehicle when purchased from the Collection under CPO). I do not have the original air box or muffler. It has been driven easy and never abused and only filled with premium fuel from known brand gasolines (shell, sunoco, BP). Never had one problem with this Audi and has been an absolute dream to own and drive.

When the vehicle was purchased in August 2012 by the current owner, it came with Certified Pre-Owned warranty to the end of 2014 or 100,000 miles.

  • This Audi was recently serviced (engine oil and filter, brake fluid flush, cabin air filter, spark plugs, alignment, K&N filter cleaned).
  • The car will need four (4) new tires soon.
  • There is a small paint scratch (penny size) on the rear right part of the bumper (seen in photos).
  • There is a small dent on the left rear quarter panel lip that is hard to notice.
  • One of the wheels has a slight curb rash (seen in photos).
  • On the front right bumper it shows what looks like a scratch, that is part of the clear bra that was scratched from debris on the road. This has been taken care of already (this is why that clear film helps!)

Audi may add plug-in hybrid A6, A8 and Q7 to range [w/poll]

Mon, 17 Mar 2014

Audi could be getting even more diverse with its powertrains for the A6, A8 and Q7, moving beyond offering just gas- and diesel-powered models and adding plug-in hybrid variants of the three luxury vehicles. The report comes from Indian Autos Blog, which spoke to Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Audi's research and design chief, who confirmed the PHVs.
The next-generation Q7, due in 2015, will be the pioneer for the full-size PHV movement from Audi, although the A3 Sportback E-Tron (shown above) will precede it. The move toward plug-ins by Audi is a big step, as the German marque has stayed quite firmly in the diesel camp, outside of its racing efforts. It's developed a few E-Tron cars over the years, including a version based on the R8, although it wasn't until recently that production of the electric sports car became serious again.
It's believed that this hesitance to really dive into the PHV market is why Audi sacked former research and design boss Wolfgan Dürheimer, with IAB speculating that his approach was too conservative.

2015 Audi A3 Sportback E-Tron

Wed, 18 Dec 2013

A little more than a year ago, I drove an Audi A3 E-Tron prototype - an early concept electric vehicle built on the outgoing second-generation A3 platform. While I was impressed with the technology, its 3,800-pound weight, 10-second 0-60 time and 90-mile range will likely put it only mid-pack, at best, among its future competitive set. But Audi promised bigger and better things would come.
I didn't have to wait long. Immediately following the Los Angeles Auto Show, Audi asked me come drive its all-new successor built on the company's third-generation A3 chassis. Compared to last year's model, the new plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) boasts a lighter curb weight, quicker acceleration and six times the range. Calling it improved is an understatement. Best of all, it's heading to production.
Technically speaking, the 2015 Audi A3 Sportback E-Tron is a parallel hybrid, meaning its electric motor is sandwiched between a combustion engine and an automatic transmission - either, or both, is capable of powering the front wheels. The gasoline-powered engine is a direct-injected and turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder, rated at 150 horsepower. The transmission is a six-speed dual-clutch gearbox. A 75-kW electric motor sits between the two. Water is used to cool the gasoline engine, the electric motor and the battery pack - there are three independent closed loops.

Audi previews sleek crossover concept ahead of Beijing debut

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

With the Beijing Motor Show approaching just a couple of weeks down the road, automakers have begun announcing the concept cars they have in store. Nissan has a new sedan concept coming, Lexus will reveal the production NX crossover and Citroën has a tempting sports sedan concept lined up for the Chinese auto expo. And now Audi has hinted at what it has in store.
Revealing only a trio of renderings with no details to accompany them so far, Audi appears to have a new crossover concept in the works. Referred to only as the Audi Showcar Beijing 2014, the brief calls for a five-door crossover with a rather coupe-like roofline, rugged lower body cladding and a flexible cabin with quad bucket seats.
The form bears telltale similarities to the new TT, suggesting that this concept could be a further evolution of the Allroad Shooting Brake concept that Audi revealed in Detroit. If put into production, we could see it wearing the Q4 badge, giving Ingolstadt a rival to the likes of the BMW X4, Porsche Macan and Range Rover Evoque. However, until Audi tells us otherwise, that's all speculation...
