2007 Audi A4 Quattro Base Sedan 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
Tampa, Florida, United States
This is a bank repo that is being sold as-is
We will describe it to the best of our knowledge Currently the vehicle is not driving. The engine is perfect, it will start up and runs very smooth and revs just fine without any issues. When you put this vehicle in gear, the clutch presses firmly, but the car will not move in any gear. We are not sure what exactly is the problem, but this would be an excellent fixer upper for the general mechanic, someone who wants to get a great deal on this car, or someone who wants to buy this to resell it. Three tires are in excellent shape, the front driver tire is very low. There are dings on the driver fender, and on the trunk. A/C is ice cold, heater is warm, the factory xenons work flawlessly. This could be a simple fix or something major, we arent sure, but this is being sold no reserve so the highest bidder wins. This car with the mileage that it has currently is worth a book value of 15,000 dollars. We are selling this local, and we have the right to end this sale at any time. If there are any questions with this vehicle please give us a call at 813-335-3794 or 813-458-0584 WE ARE A LICENSED FLORIDA DEALER AND ALL TRANSACTIONS WILL INCUR SALES TAX NO MATTER THE STATE THAT YOU LIVE IN THIS IS IF YOU TAKE DELIVERY OF THE VEHICLE. Audi Q3 production begins in Spain
Tue, 07 Jun 20112012 Audi Q3 - Click above for high-res image gallery
It wasn't that long ago that Audi had no SUVs in its lineup - aside from the A6 Allroad Quattro - despite being known for its all-wheel-drive vehicles. But that's all changed, just as it has for BMW and Porsche. The Q7 was followed by the Q5, and now the Q3 has started production as well.
The first Q3 rolled off the assembly line today at the plant in Martorell, Spain. The facility belongs principally to Audi's sister-company Seat, but has gone through a considerable expansion - funded by both Audi and Seat - to prepare for the Q3's production.
A car writer's year in new vehicles [w/video]
Thu, Dec 18 2014Christmas is only a week away. The New Year is just around the corner. As 2014 draws to a close, I'm not the only one taking stock of the year that's we're almost shut of. Depending on who you are or what you do, the end of the year can bring to mind tax bills, school semesters or scheduling dental appointments. For me, for the last eight or nine years, at least a small part of this transitory time is occupied with recalling the cars I've driven over the preceding 12 months. Since I started writing about and reviewing cars in 2006, I've done an uneven job of tracking every vehicle I've been in, each year. Last year I made a resolution to be better about it, and the result is a spreadsheet with model names, dates, notes and some basic facts and figures. Armed with this basic data and a yen for year-end stories, I figured it would be interesting to parse the figures and quantify my year in cars in a way I'd never done before. The results are, well, they're a little bizarre, honestly. And I think they'll affect how I approach this gig in 2015. {C} My tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015 it'll be as high as 73. Let me give you a tiny bit of background about how automotive journalists typically get cars to test. There are basically two pools of vehicles I drive on a regular basis: media fleet vehicles and those available on "first drive" programs. The latter group is pretty self-explanatory. Journalists are gathered in one location (sometimes local, sometimes far-flung) with a new model(s), there's usually a day of driving, then we report back to you with our impressions. Media fleet vehicles are different. These are distributed to publications and individual journalists far and wide, and the test period goes from a few days to a week or more. Whereas first drives almost always result in a piece of review content, fleet loans only sometimes do. Other times they serve to give context about brands, segments, technology and the like, to editors and writers. So, adding up the loans I've had out of the press fleet and things I've driven at events, my tally for the year is 68 cars, as of this writing. Before the calendar flips to 2015, it'll be as high as 73. At one of the buff books like Car and Driver or Motor Trend, reviewers might rotate through five cars a week, or more. I know that number sounds high, but as best I can tell, it's pretty average for the full-time professionals in this business.
Audi recalls 850,000 A4 models globally for airbags that won't deploy
Thu, 23 Oct 2014Audi has announced that it will be recalling 850,000 A4 sedans, wagons and Allroad models across the globe due to a software problem that could prevent the front airbags from deploying. All 850,000 vehicles were built after 2012.
Audi has already adjusted production of new A4s to eliminate the software glitch. Meanwhile, the German manufacturer was quick to emphasize that Takata did not manufacture the affected airbags.
According to Reuters, 250,000 of the affected A4s were built for the Chinese market, while another 150,000 were sold in Germany. Audi didn't provide a breakdown beyond those two countries, although it'd be a surprise if there weren't at least some affected airbags in the US market.
