Audi recalls 2013-2014 S6 and S7 models over fuel line leak

If you've been driving a late model Audi S6 or S7, first of all, good for you. Secondly, you should be expecting a call from your local dealer as the Volkswagen Group and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have issued a recall.
The problem apparently involves a potential leak in the fuel line, which, as any mechanic or McGuyver fan could tell you, is not such a good thing. As NHTSA points out, it "may result in a fire."
The recall involves 3,594 vehicles in these United States, specifically model-year 2013 and 2014 Audi S6 and S7 models equipped with the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8. (It does not, however, seem to affect the S8 or any of the Bentleys that are powered by the same engine.) Owners of said cars can expect to be contacted regarding how the problem will be fixed. Of course, we love to tune into The Price Is Right to see average Americans spin the big wheel, play a round of Plinko or Cliff Hangers, and participate in the gladiatorial Showcase Showdown. But there is one reason, and one reason alone that the daytime game show has captivated us since its inception in 1972... 'A new car!!!'
Back in November, the show held a Dream Car Week that saw contestants get the chance to win whips like a Porsche 911 and a BMW 6 Series, amongst others. It must have been pretty successful, as the PIR team is back at it, this time giving away an Audi R8 Spyder with a sticker price of $157,300. That makes it the single most-expensive item given away in the show's history.
The R8's new owner, Sheree Heil, may not fit the image of a typical R8 driver - we anticipate she'll learn which side of the car to drive on after the show is over ­- but she is clearly tickled pink with her big win. Check out the insanity below.

Audi UrQuattro gets the Petrolicious narrative

Audi started a revolution in the world of rallying when it paired an all-wheel-drive system with a turbocharged, five-cylinder engine and a rakish, three-door body. That car, the Quattro, didn't just upset the entire balance of the World Rally Championship, it (eventually) led to a transformative effect on the consumer car market.
But we're not just interested in this car simply because history has proven the UrQuattro to be important - we love its sharply creased looks, its offbeat soundtrack and its gravel-spitting abilities. Evidently, so does the crew from Petrolicious, as they've lavished their lenses upon the car. This particular model hails from 1983, and has covered a healthy 175,000 miles, says owner Manuel Leon Minassian. His first experience with the Ur (meaning "original") came in Beirut, where the car received plenty of praise from students at his school.
