You are bidding on a 2005 Audi A4 1.8T. It is a Quattro which means it is All Wheel Drive with the press of a button. It is White with Black Leather Interior. The condition of this vehicle is Excellent. I have been the owner of this car since 18,000K and purchased it at Prestige BMW in Ramsey, NJ in 2007. I have done all regular maintenance and repairs on vehicle since. I get oil changes every 5000K with full synthetic Mobil 1. It had a Tune up at 87,000K. Brakes (Rotors and Pads), Timing Belt, Coolant Tank, Water Pump were replaced at 95,000K.
It is in perfect running condition. She is a great car. Clear Title and Carfax Report. The car has never been in an accident. This car is loaded. It has a power sunroof, tinted windows, Audi TT rims, black leather power heated seats, Audi symphony stereo with 5 CD/Tape. I installed an XM radio which is included as well as a hardwired Garmin Navigation with Bluetooth which is include as well. This vehicle has 4 Brand New Audi TT rims (one has a minor scuff/scratch) and all weather tires. Original Rims and tires are NOT included in this auction. The car has been garage kept in the winter. The car has (very very minor) nicks and scratches, front and back bumper but no dents or dings. I believe if you take care of your car, your car will take care of you. This has been the case with every car I have owned. This car will come with a current oil change 99000K, car wash, and full tank of gas. This car (because of the Turbo), takes Plus or Premium gas ONLY. This is what I was told when I bought it and I never strayed from that. Original Manual is included. There is no warranty on this car. The vehicle has aftermarket tinted front windows, rims, xm radio, garmin navigation, and rain guards. All of these things come with the car. Nothing in the car has been replaced other than what has been described in this description. I am happy to allow you to have an independent inspection by a mechanic of your choice of this car. Please contact me if you are serious about the car and I will drive up to 25 miles from area code 07649 to have that done, but it is your responsibility to pay the inspector if fee's are warranted. I welcome any questions as well. Once committed to the sale via Ebay, you will have to pay an immediate $500.00 deposit via Paypal. The balance will be paid within 3 days via a Certified Bank Cashiers Check or cash upon delivery. All money has to be cleared and in hand before transfer of title. Volkswagen Group names Paefgen head of classics program
Tue, 04 Oct 2011You may remember the name Franz-Josef Paefgen. Until recently, the German engineer and executive was head of both Bentley and Bugatti. Before that he was chief executive of Audi, after working for several years at Ford. He technically "retired" earlier this year, but like the cars he helped create, an executive like Paefgen could never really retire. So it should come as little surprise that the Volkswagen Group has named Dr. Paefgen head of its Classic program.
In his new capacity, Paefgen will oversee the historic automobile activities of the entire VW Group, including those of Volkswagen, Seat, Skoda, Audi, Lamborghini, and of course Bentley and Bugatti. It strikes us as a suitable semi-retirement for the man responsible in no small part for the Bugatti Veyron and Bentley Mulsanne, to name just two, and who was decorated in 2006 by the ACO as the "Spirit of Le Mans" for his contribution to endurance racing. Read the official announcement after the break.
Next Audi R8 seen and heard in this spy video
Thu, 27 Mar 2014A few weeks ago, our clandestine spy photographers brought home the first good look at the next-generation Audi R8. We were all pretty stoked.
Seemingly following the game plan of the recently shown Audi TT, the next R8 looks to be an evolutionary update on a supercar form that pretty much everyone loves.
Today, the same shooters that snapped the car in stills have delivered some pretty compelling moving pictures of the thing. Captured both in some less-than-inspiring around-town traffic situations and out on the Nürburgring, the video delivers our first taste of the new R8's auditory splendor. Well... a taste of it, anyway.
No diesels in the running for 2016 Green Car Of The Year
Thu, Oct 15 2015It's a new era for the Green Car Of The Year. In the past, the theme of the award was to take a broad look at alternative powertrains and pick the best among them. "Clean diesels" from the Volkswagen group were often among the finalists and won the award twice. For the 2016 edition - which will be handed out at the LA Auto Show next month - not a single diesel made the list. There's little wonder why. Green Car Journal, which names the winner with a panel of experts, had to strip two VW brand vehicles of their past wins. The 2009 VW Jetta TDI, which won in 2008, and the 2010 Audi A3 TDI, which won in 2010, have both lost their titles now that the world knows about the "defeat devices" that VW installed in many of its TDI vehicles around the world. So, what does that leave us with for 2016? Two plug ins, a hybrid, and two gas vehicles. The two electric vehicle are the Audi A3 e-tron and the Chevy Volt, while the all-new Toyota Prius (which will come with a plug-in version later) is the lone pure hybrid. Rounding out the pack are two efficient gas models: the Hyundai Sonata and the Honda Civic. This is the tenth year for the Green Car Of The Year, and it will be interesting to see if diesels can come back into the award's good graces (for the record, no diesels were among the finalists in 2013, either) in the future. For now, we'd like to know who you think should win. You can read more about the finalists in the press release below and then cast your vote in our poll. Show full PR text FINALISTS ANNOUNCED FOR 2016 GREEN CAR OF THE YEAR Green Car Journal to Reveal Winner of 11th Annual Award at LA Auto Show Press & Trade Days, November 19 LOS ANGELES, CA (October 15, 2015) – Green Car Journal has announced its five finalists for the magazine's prestigious 2016 Green Car of the Year® award. The 2016 models include the Audi A3 e-tron, Chevrolet Volt, Honda Civic, Hyundai Sonata, and Toyota Prius. An increasing number of vehicle models are considered for the Green Car of the Year® program each year, a reflection of the auto industry's expanding efforts in offering new vehicles with higher efficiency and improved environmental impact. Green Car Journal has been honoring the most important "green" vehicles every year at the LA Auto Show, since its inaugural award announced at the show in 2005.
