2007 Audi A4 Quattro Base Sedan 4-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
York, Pennsylvania, United States
Up for sale is my 2007 Audi Quattro 2.0T. Silver exterior with beautiful black leather interior. Still smells new! Six speed manual transmission. I am the 2nd ADULT owner of the car. Garage kept by both owners. This car is immaculate inside and out! Well taken care of. The under carriage is spotless as well. The car only has 63500 miles. I have done all the preventative maintenance for the car. So new owner has no worries for a long time to come. The car comes with a Brand new battery, new k&n air filter, new carbon cabin filter, new pre air screen filter, new cam follower, new coil pack and ngk spark plugs, and new pcv breather. Only full synthetic oil changes at 4000-5000 mile intervals. Let it be known that this car needed none of these items and were only installed as a preventative maintenance item by myself. I am very intricate about my vehicles. I also have a new diverter valve and fuel filter for the car that I have not had a chance to install yet, Vehicle also comes with Sat. radio and iPod connection in glove box hard wired into system. Heated seats, cruise control, and Power everything – seats, windows, sun roof, etc.. I also have other items for sale separately which include; OE Audi roof rack,
H&R lowering sport coils- brand new in box, and 2012 Audi S4 wheels and
tires 19 inch. Wheels are spotless. The only reason I am selling the car is
that my family size is increasing and now so does my car size. My intentions
were to keep this car a very long time, hence all the preventative maintenance.
Thanks and good luck. This will not last. |

Audi CVT suit settlement given green light, 64,000 cars covered
Mon, 07 Oct 2013Audi drivers, listen up. If you bought or leased a 2002-06 model-year A4 or A6 with a factory-installed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) that failed, you may be entitled to reimbursement under a recently settled class-action lawsuit with corporate parent Volkswagen.
According to Automotive News, the settlement covers about 64,000 vehicles and alleges that "manufacturing and design problems caused the transmissions to fail and left owners stuck with repair costs." While the suit also argues Audi was aware of these issues (going so far as to hide that knowledge from consumers), the settlement stops short of acknowledging any wrongdoing by the German automaker.
Audi drivers are eligible for a cash reimbursement if their CVT repairs occurred within 10 years or 100,000 miles of the date they bought or leased the vehicle before June 19, 2013. To be eligible for compensation, drivers must submit a claim form (found here) with supporting documents by November 18.
Lamborghini could be sold or spun off from the Volkswagen Group
Sat, Oct 12 2019Volkswagen is reportedly considering a sale or stock listing for its high-end Lamborghini brand. The German automaker is looking to fold the Italian supercar brand into a separate legal entity, reports Bloomberg, which cites "people familiar with the matter" who don't want to be identified "because the deliberations are confidential and no decisions have been made." Any of this sound familiar? The goal of spinning off Lamborghini would be to stockpile more cash and other resources for VW's massive planned push into electric vehicles. Back in March, reports circulated that Volkswagen's "Vision 2030" corporate plan might include plans to focus on the brand's core brands — VW, Audi and Porsche. That means the futures of fringe players like Lamborghini, Bentley, Bugatti, motorcycle brand Ducati and design firm Italdesign (and note this isn't a comprehensive list of brand's under the expansive VW Group umbrella) are up in the air. VW, according to the report, is targeting a market value of $220 billion, which is a big jump from the brand's current $89 billion valuation. Bloomberg pegged Lamborghini's valuation at around $11 billion back in August, buoyed by sales and profits generated by the introduction of the Urus sport utility vehicle. On the flip side, Lamborghini is currently grappling with how best to update its supercar lineup in the face of ever-increasing emissions regulations.
GM, Audi, Jaguar halt Russian sales amidst ruble's collapse
Fri, Dec 19 2014The value of Russia's ruble currency has sunk like a stone tossed in the Volga for much of the year, losing over 40 percent of its worth since June. The change is having bizarre effects on the auto industry there and leaving some automakers scrambling to adjust. According to Bloomberg, Russians are buying up luxury goods including automobiles at the moment to have a physical investment in case the ruble sinks further. However, with the money worth so little, the companies aren't making much from these transactions. Things are so dire that several automakers are temporarily ending deliveries until the situation stabilizes. According to Bloomberg, General Motors stopped sales on December 16 with no set date to start again. Audi did the same thing but with the intention to resume once it has adjusted model pricing. Jaguar Land Rover terminated business until December 19 to see how things changed. Toyota is increasing its pricing, as well, but keeping business open at the same time. Some automakers have subtly been reacting to the slumping Russian auto market all year. The moves have included Volkswagen cutting production by 30,000 units from its factory in Kaluga. Ford also got rid of 950 workers from two plants due to low demand. Some analysts have even speculated that the contracting industry and possibility of lower import duties into the country could cause companies to end their manufacturing in Russia completely.
