This car looks like it just left the showroom floor. Paint is immaculate with no swirl marks, and the 20 inch Vellano wheels have no curb rash. The tires are Michelin Pilot Sports and have no more than 2000 miles on them. Always garaged, never seen snow, non smoker, title in hand. Serviced by Aston Martin with the last service completed on Feb 18, 2013. Covered by a no-deductible Aston Martin issued warranty that expires on March 3. 2015 (cost $6,400). I am the second owner (carfax shows three owners, but I am both the second and third owner because it was registered by me in two different states). I bought the car from an extremely wealthy person in CA who had 10 cars. I had the car gone over with a paint thickness meter to ensure that it had not been in a collision.
I had the front spoiler repainted since the prior owner had scraped it on a curb. While it was in for servicing at Aston Martin they backed it into something so the rear bumper has also been repainted (cosmetic damage). Other than that the paint is original, and there are no stories concerning the car. It is immaculate.
With the Vellano wheels the tire pressure sensor does not work so the little red light is constantly on. I have the original wheels if you prefer and the tire pressure sensor's work with those.
The total original cost of the car is $151,000, and is comprised of the following.
MSRP of Roadster with automanual transmission with paddle shifters $128,700, Navigation $2,655, Premium Audio - 700 watt $1,595, Satellite radio $1,250, HID headlamps $795, Bluetooth $750, Piano black Veneer $750, Wind deflector $570, Bright Finish Grill $440, Heated Seats $450, Cruise Control $450, Folding side mirrors $450, Memory seats $450, Alarm $295, Red brake calipers $450, Garage door opener and auto dim $295, Umbrella and holder $230, Smoker's kit (never used) $220, First Aid Kit $150, Gas guzzler tax and delivery $2950, 20" Vellano wheels with Michelin Pilot Sports $7000, Ceramic window tint $230.
Standard items on the car include parking sensors, I Pod connector, leather interior, electric seats, 6 CD changer, Dynamic brake distribution, and Dynamic stability control.
I love this car. The only reason I am selling it is that I like my new white Audi R8 V10 Spyder more.

Fisker sues Aston Martin for $100M over The Force 1
Wed, Jan 6 2016We were expecting Henrik Fisker to bring The Force 1, his next vehicle design, to next week's Detroit Auto Show, but that might not happen. In December an attorney for Aston Martin sent Fisker a letter asking the Danish designer to either not show his car in Detroit or to change the design. Fisker responded to that letter by filing $100-million civil extortion lawsuit against Aston Martin in a California Federal court, naming company CEO Andy Palmer, chief spokesman Simon Sproule, and chief creative officer Marek Reichman as defendants. Based on the overhead-view sketch, the English carmaker believes that The Force 1 is "strikingly similar to several of Aston Martin's cars, including the DB10" from the movie Spectre. At the same time the carmaker's letter to Fisker admitted that it doesn't know what the final design will look like, but it appears that the carmaker's intent to "protect its valuable rights if necessary" could not make way for patience. Or perhaps Aston Martin is trying to prevent another Thunderbolt episode before it starts. That incident last year involved the carmaker suing Fisker over his reimagined Vanquish, with the two settling the matter out of court. Fisker says The Force 1 has isn't based on an Aston Martin, and as part of the lawsuit submitted a design breakdown of both the DB10 and The Force 1. Fisker's latest is apparently in partnership with VL Automotive, the company that's been threatening to release a V8-powered Karma sedan for years now, and the Detroit show organizers say they've been working with VL, not Fisker. The lawsuit seeks the $100 million for punitive and compensatory damages and court costs, alleging that Aston Martin's actions "would subject [Fisker] to public humiliation, embarrassment in the industry, and significant financial losses." The public allegations go even further, Fisker's lawyer Jonathan Michaels saying that the English brand, "In an effort to protect itself from further market erosion... conspired and devised a scheme to stomp out Henrik Fisker's competitive presence in the luxury sports car industry." Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG formalize technical partnership
Thu, 19 Dec 2013The development of a partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin has been a long time coming. The news dates back to 2008, and over the five years since was supposed to lead to a rejuvenation of both the Maybach and Lagonda brands. That program ultimately fell apart, but the tie-in was forged afresh in July when the two automakers signed a letter of intent over a renewed partnership. And now that partnership has been formalized.
In a deal just announced, Mercedes-AMG will build a new V8 engine for Aston Martin that will power a new generation of luxury GTs for the British marque, presumably to replace the 4.7-liter V8 in the Vantage. The relationship appears to be similar to the one already in place between AMG and Pagani, only in this case, will involve Daimler taking as much as a five-percent stake in Aston Martin and an observer seat on Aston's board.
The technical partnership is also set to lead to the supply of electric and electronic systems, and could incorporate "additional areas of cooperation in the future." Whether that will include a fresh attempt at reviving Lagonda remains to be seen, as does the future of Aston's long-serving, Ford-based 6.0-liter V12 engine. But for now you can read the full announcement below.
Aston Martin plots more specific models for China, Middle East
Wed, Apr 1 2015Aston Martin is a thoroughly British automaker. Given its independence from any foreign automaker and its production that takes place entirely in the UK – particularly since Rapide assembly was moved back to Gaydon and the Toyota-based iQ was discontinued – you might argue that it's the most British automaker of them all. But like any other, it thrives on exports, and that only stands to increase with its latest announcement. With support from the British government, Aston Martin has revealed that it plans to develop new models specifically for export outside of the UK and continental Europe – especially for developing but wealthy markets in China and the Middle East. It wouldn't be the first time Aston would launch a new model targeted at a specific market, after all. When the company relaunched the Lagonda marque with the new Taraf luxury sedan late last year, it initially planned to make it available only in the Middle East. And by Middle East, we don't mean war-torn Yemen or Syria – we mean the oil-rich emirates of the Persian Gulf, like Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Popular demand later prompted Aston to switch tracks, however, expanding availability to Europe and other markets. At this point, Aston isn't saying just what it has in mind for these lucrative markets, but the possibilities seem limited only by what local buyers would be interested in ponying up for. We could easily see the company offering a long-wheelbase Taraf limousine for China, a partial convertible sedan (like the Maybach Landaulet) for the Emirates or that long-rumored crossover that would be sure to attract buyers from both markets. ASTON MARTIN SET TO EXPAND MODEL RANGE FOR EXPORT MARKETS UK Government confirms support for new projects 29 March 2015, Gaydon: Aston Martin today confirmed it will widen its product offering for markets outside of Europe. Based on a conditional offer of an exceptional regional growth fund from the UK Government, Aston Martin will commence work this year on new models intended to broaden its customer reach in export markets such as China and the Middle East. The UK Government has committed support of up to the value of GBP6.9 million, conditional on investments in new products from Aston Martin. Commenting on this news, Aston Martin CEO, Dr Andy Palmer said: "Expanding our product range to enable a greater reach into export markets is an essential part of our Second Century business plan.
