Pristine Condition 2005 Aston Martin DB9
Fully Optioned, best example I've ever seen
Highly desirable Metallic Black on Black Leather
Only 10,800 miles
(attached photo was from a few months ago)
Clean Carfax, No accidents
Only 2 Owners before me
(note that autocheck counts the car dealer as an owner -- I purchased it last year from Texas Import Sales, a dealer of high end exotic vehicles)
Previous owners were from Texas, a dry state.  No signs of any rust / snow wear.  They put 9000 miles on it, and I added another 1800.
Did an inspection at Beverly Hills Aston Martin last year and came back with a clean bill of health.  Foreman said it was one of the cleanest DB9s he's seen.  Also updated the ECU software at that time.

Upgraded Factory Options include:
In Dash Navigation
Linn 950w Sound System
Auto-Folding Side Mirrors
6 speed paddle shifting automatic gearbox
Walnut Veneers
Parking Sensors
Seat heaters
Aston Martin Air Caps

Other Updates:
Car also has a clear bra installed, and I replaced the front piece last year with a new one, so everything looks perfect.
I recently had an alignment done, so the car is in great shape.
Previous owner installed a hidden skid plate to protect the bottom of the front bumper.
Tires are nearly brand new.  All are in excellent shape, and were replaced before I bought the car.  Holds and runs like new.
Tow hook and tire repair kit included.
No leaks and has never burned oil.

Selling to fund a classic car purchase.  This car should be a daily driver and simply doesn't get driven.  I turn the motor regularly, but rarely drive it.  I'm hoping the next owner will be able to get some good use out of it.  This V12 engine is known to be very reliable.  Small ding on the driver's door.  No trades, please.  No visits nor test drives unless you place a refundable deposit or purchase a pre-purchase inspection from a local Aston Martin dealership.  Traveling pre-purchase inspections from ebay approved companies are fine, but no test drives.  No lowball offers.  I'm in no rush to sell, and low offers will automatically be rejected.  Have financing ready before you bid.  No warranty included nor implied.  You might be able to obtain one through Aston Martin, because it's less than 10yrs old.  Car is located in Los Angeles, CA.

Latest Spectre trailer loaded with cars, action

Wed, Jun 10 2015

We've already received our first glimpse of the latest James Bond film, Spectre. But while that 90-second trailer was a bit light on vehicular mayhem, the trailer that aired during last night's NBA Finals game certainly wasn't. The 60-second spot started similarly to the first official Spectre trailer, but it quickly descended into something with a lot more action. Bond's one-off Aston Martin DB10 makes an appearance, as it did in the first trailer, but this time, we get a look at its duel with the Jaguar C-X75 of the film's villain. There are flames. Many flames. Check out the full trailer up top, and keep an eye open come November, when Spectre hits theaters.

Aston Martin On Ice reminds us how fun winter can be

Wed, Mar 11 2015

Things are finally starting to thaw near the Autoblog headquarters in Detroit, with spring just around the corner. We're already celebrating some slightly warmer temperatures, and looking ahead to sunny days and top-down drives. But winter isn't all bad – especially for car enthusiasts. Yes, with the right formula of fresh powder and winter tires, the cold season can prove hilariously fun for folks who love to drive. In that spirit, Aston Martin hosted its second-annual (in the US, anyway) 'On Ice' program in Colorado, where owners were given the opportunity to slide around in the British automaker's wares, hanging the tails out and generally (we assume) having a blast. Rather than bore you with more details, we'll let you see all the fun that was had, in the gallery above. It almost makes us wish winter would stick around a little longer. Almost. For more information about the Aston Martin On Ice program, check out the (old) press blast below. Related Video: Aston Martin are to host their second annual ice driving program in Colorado in February, offering thrill seekers a unique driving experience in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Taking place among the dramatic Crested Butte mountain range, the 'On Ice' program gives Aston Martin enthusiasts the chance to hone their driving skills in a spectacular setting over three days. The iconic British car makers have custom built an ice track for the program, comprising a braking/cornering exercise loop, slalom, skid pad and full circuit. Under expert tuition, participants are guided through the facility, before embarking upon a series of braking, cornering and handling exercises and then putting their skills to the test on a mile-long frozen road course. Luxurious accommodations will be provided for all three days at the exclusive boutique hotel properties of the Eleven Group that are nestled in the mountains. Julian Jenkins, President of Aston Martin The Americas, said: "After this hugely successful first year we expect the On Ice program to become a mainstay of our customer experience offerings here in North America. "The ability to experience a range of our cars in a unique and controlled environment resonates with Aston Martin customers and enthusiasts who are united by a shared passion for driving." As well as the 'On Ice' driving program, guests will also have the chance to indulge in other activities including skiing and exploring the back country on a fleet of snow mobiles.

Aston Martin shows electric Rapide, production possible in two years

Thu, Oct 22 2015

Aston Martin is working with investment firm ChinaEquity to bring an all-electric version of the Rapide to production by the end of 2017. Aston received 50 million British pounds ($77 million) from ChinaEquity for development, according to Automotive News Europe. The model could have as much as 1,000 horsepower, which makes sense because its powertrain will be developed by an affiliate of the Williams Formula One team. Aston Martin also says an electric variant of its DBX SUV may be in the works by 2019. The electric Rapide could also have a 200-mile single-charge range, though the car may be priced at as much as $250,000. Aston Martin first announced plans to build the model earlier this year. The automaker launched the Rapide in 2010. Related Video: The video meant to be presented here is no longer available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
