Machias, New York, United States
If you have any questions or would like to view the car in person please email me at: ronniekossin@netzero.net .
This is a very rare 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S with 1900 miles. One of very few that were made for the USA and
very likely the lowest mile and most pristine car left in the USA. This is a two owner car that has all service up
to date, no blemishes, no paint work, no stories. The car has always been serviced at a factory authorized Aston
dealer. The car comes with all the items that came with the car when new. (all keys, charger, umbrella, new indoor
car cover, books and records). This is the car for the collector that must have the lowest mile and best Vanquish S
left in the country. Being the best driving Aston ever made this is likely to be a very desirable and valuable car
in the future. Aston acknowledges how special this car is by classifying the Vanquish S under their “Heritage
Program” which is the designation they use for their most significant and collectible models. This 2+2 Vanquish
S is a beautiful grey color called Meteorite Silver over Phantom Grey interior. The car has the rear seat option
and has an original MSRP of $268,000.The car is stored in a climate controlled storage facility in Westchester NY
and viewing can be arranged during normal business hours.
Some info on the rare Vanquish S model:
The 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S was produced as a true supercar from Aston to mark the last of the hand made cars,
the last car made at the Newport Pagnell factory which started with the DB4 in 1958. It was the final and last of
the cars made all by hand with true fine craftsmanship.
Each Vanquish S took over 400 hours of labor to produce.
Upgrades to the S from a standard Vanquish include more power rated at 520 bhp up from 460 bhp in a standard
Vanquish. Bigger revised grille, front splitter and raised rear spoiler built into the boot lid to keep the car
stable at higher speeds. The car also has 20% more direct steering, larger brakes and unique wheels. The
Vanquish/Vanquish S is also the only Aston to get a carbon fiber roll bar in the engine bay and a 100% full flat
under floor like race cars.
The S was a true supercar with a top speed rated over 200 MPH, and an engine sound no other modern Aston can beat.
A very unique raw feel to this car without DSC, only a limited slip differential and traction control.
The gearbox is not an automatic with torque converter, it is a manual with electro-hydraulic clutch so you have
full control over the engine.
A very rare car with a total of 711 left hand drive Vanquish S models ever made with less than half of those
imported to the USA.
This is likely to be one of the most collectible and valuable Astons ever made, and likely the only modern Aston
that will ever be highly collectible. Prices have already risen in Europe significantly ahead of the price here in
the US.

Aston Martin plots more specific models for China, Middle East
Wed, Apr 1 2015Aston Martin is a thoroughly British automaker. Given its independence from any foreign automaker and its production that takes place entirely in the UK – particularly since Rapide assembly was moved back to Gaydon and the Toyota-based iQ was discontinued – you might argue that it's the most British automaker of them all. But like any other, it thrives on exports, and that only stands to increase with its latest announcement. With support from the British government, Aston Martin has revealed that it plans to develop new models specifically for export outside of the UK and continental Europe – especially for developing but wealthy markets in China and the Middle East. It wouldn't be the first time Aston would launch a new model targeted at a specific market, after all. When the company relaunched the Lagonda marque with the new Taraf luxury sedan late last year, it initially planned to make it available only in the Middle East. And by Middle East, we don't mean war-torn Yemen or Syria – we mean the oil-rich emirates of the Persian Gulf, like Bahrain, Qatar, Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Popular demand later prompted Aston to switch tracks, however, expanding availability to Europe and other markets. At this point, Aston isn't saying just what it has in mind for these lucrative markets, but the possibilities seem limited only by what local buyers would be interested in ponying up for. We could easily see the company offering a long-wheelbase Taraf limousine for China, a partial convertible sedan (like the Maybach Landaulet) for the Emirates or that long-rumored crossover that would be sure to attract buyers from both markets. ASTON MARTIN SET TO EXPAND MODEL RANGE FOR EXPORT MARKETS UK Government confirms support for new projects 29 March 2015, Gaydon: Aston Martin today confirmed it will widen its product offering for markets outside of Europe. Based on a conditional offer of an exceptional regional growth fund from the UK Government, Aston Martin will commence work this year on new models intended to broaden its customer reach in export markets such as China and the Middle East. The UK Government has committed support of up to the value of GBP6.9 million, conditional on investments in new products from Aston Martin. Commenting on this news, Aston Martin CEO, Dr Andy Palmer said: "Expanding our product range to enable a greater reach into export markets is an essential part of our Second Century business plan.
Aston Martin DB11 stuns in leaked official images
Mon, Feb 29 2016The Geneva Motor Show officially kicks off when the world's press descends on the Palexpo this Tuesday and Wednesday, but we'd entertain an argument for a Monday kickoff. That's when Volkswagen will host its enormous Group Night event (so check back tomorrow afternoon for all the latest). But lazy Sunday evenings? No, that's for watching The Walking Dead. And, you know, looking at leaked images of cars meant to debut on Tuesday or Wednesday. So if, like us, you're taking a break from walkers, check out the new Aston Martin DB11. In news that isn't really news, it's gorgeous. The images, published by Carscoops, show a car heavily inspired by the DB10 concept car from the latest James Bond movie, Spectre, but it's designed for the real world. Things like crash zones, headlight regulations, cargo space, and even an opening hood all take their toll on the style of 007's latest ride, but the resulting coupe is still a beauty. We can see elements of the One-77 hypercar, especially in the rear window, quarter window, and haunches. But the roof and its silver arches, are all DBX Concept. Up front, there's much more in common with the DB10. The grille and headlights are unsurprisingly larger, with the former likely dictated by the need to cool the 5.2-liter, twin-turbocharged V12 and the later due to your basic headlight size requirements. And the wheels? Those are more or less plucked right from the Bond car. Look for the entire array of official images and details, including live shots from Geneva, later this week. Until then, have a look at the leaked shots from Carscoops. Related Video:
Aston Martin DB11 V8 loses four cylinders but none of its grace
Wed, Jun 28 2017We love the Aston Martin DB11. Few vehicles combine speed, luxury, and comfort as well as that beautiful British coupe. That said, it's not the most efficient or affordable GT in the world, but Aston Martin is planning to change that. Starting this year, the company will offer the DB11 a twin-turbocharged V8 sourced from the mad Germans at Mercedes-AMG. We've known about the engine partnership for a while now, though we assumed the first Aston Martin to use a Mercedes-AMG V8 would be the next-generation V8 Vantage. At first, sticking a V8 under the hood might seem like an odd choice, but the DB series only recently started using V12s. Historically, the car has packed powerful inline-six engines. Offering two engines will allow the company to sell a lower-cost model and presumably boost sales. That means changes are strictly mechanical in nature. The engine is the now-common 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged Mercedes-AMG V8. Output is 503 horsepower and 498 pound-feet of torque. That's down 97 horsepower and 18 pound-feet of torque from the 5.2-liter V12. In the Mercedes-AMG C63 S, the 4.0-liter V8 makes equal horsepower and 18 more pound-feet of torque. Aston Martin says that the partnership with Mercedes-AMG allows the company to tailor the engine for Aston Martins. This means a new ECU with new engine and throttle mapping. Losing four cylinders changes the character of the car a bit. The DB11 V8 is a not-insubstantial 254 pounds lighter than the V12. Since most of the weight savings comes from behind the front wheels, Aston Martin says the V8 model is more agile than the V12 model. Engineers have adjusted the suspension bushing, geometry, anti-roll bars, springs, dampers, and stability control to account for the weight savings. The DB11 V8's diet helps offset the lower power output. As such, the 4.0-second 0-62 sprint is just 0.1 seconds off the V12. Top speed is down 13 mph to a still extralegal speed of 187 mph. We don't have fuel economy ratings for the US, but expect an improvement from the V12's current rating. The V8 will be available with all of the same equipment and trims as the V12, with just a few visual changes to distinguish the two models. The V8 gets unique wheels, darker headlight surroundings, and just two vents on the hood, available in either black or titanium. The DB11 V8 goes on sale in the US later this year. At $198,995, it undercuts the V12 model by $17,500.
