The CPO inspection is a rigorous 4 hour process! The CPO Warranty expires 5/2015 and can be extended for an additional 2 years! This means you can actually enjoy driving the car instead of worrying about potential costly breakdowns. Additionally, this DB9 comes with full Aston Martin service history, and at this point does NOT require any maintenance for at least another year or 10k miles (whichever comes first). The car will also come with the Aston Martin owners Manuel, Navigation DVDs, and 2 sets of keys. -Oil and Filter service performed 6/2014 -Tires were changed 6,600 miles ago -Brakes were changed 1,800 miles ago Basically, this DB9 is ready to be a daily driver or can be parked in your living room as a work of art because it's in pristine showroom condition. Although I mostly drive the car on weekends, I have driven it several times to work from NJ to Manhattan where the roads differ greatly. The DB9 feels comfortable in any setting and road surface. The ride is never too stiff and has just enough modern creature comforts that you would never expect from a car that's nearly 7 years old or rather young! I am selling the car simply because I need the money to fund a new business, additionally, as can be seen from the miles, I just have not had time to use the car as much as I hoped I would. With that being said, I am not desperate to sell the car, however, I am negotiable on the price. Similar DB9's that are NOT fully loaded, do NOT have the rare 6 speed manual transmission, and certainly do NOT have the CPO Aston Martin Warranty have sold for my current asking price. Additionally, the cost of a 1 year Aston Martin CPO Warranty is around $4,000, making this car a fantastic value. Hopefully, this car can go to a home that will love and cherish it as much as I have.

Aston Martin and Mercedes-AMG formalize technical partnership

The development of a partnership between Mercedes-Benz and Aston Martin has been a long time coming. The news dates back to 2008, and over the five years since was supposed to lead to a rejuvenation of both the Maybach and Lagonda brands. That program ultimately fell apart, but the tie-in was forged afresh in July when the two automakers signed a letter of intent over a renewed partnership. And now that partnership has been formalized.
In a deal just announced, Mercedes-AMG will build a new V8 engine for Aston Martin that will power a new generation of luxury GTs for the British marque, presumably to replace the 4.7-liter V8 in the Vantage. The relationship appears to be similar to the one already in place between AMG and Pagani, only in this case, will involve Daimler taking as much as a five-percent stake in Aston Martin and an observer seat on Aston's board.
The technical partnership is also set to lead to the supply of electric and electronic systems, and could incorporate "additional areas of cooperation in the future." Whether that will include a fresh attempt at reviving Lagonda remains to be seen, as does the future of Aston's long-serving, Ford-based 6.0-liter V12 engine. It's been 13 long years since the Aston Martin DB9 debuted and the automaker just finished producing the last nine models. Aston tweeted "farewell to an icon" and posted pictures of the final DB9s. While the DB9's VH underpinnings will live on in the Rapide and Vanquish, the sports car was a huge success for Aston and arguably kept the company afloat during rough times. According to Left-Lane, Aston sold 8,701 DB9s from 2004 to 2015 in Europe alone. With its sales numbers and large following, it shouldn't come as a surprise to hear that Aston is hard at work ensuring the DB11 be a hit. Giving this '67 Aston DB6 the James Bond treatment only required drilling one hole

Paul is a Brit living in Southern California and still connected to his native land by, among other things, being a collector of all things James Bond. That led to him buying a 1967 Aston Martin DB6, having lusted after a DB-series car since he was nine, and fitting it with every "accoutrement" from James Bond's 1964 DB5 in Goldfinger and Thunderball. Getting features like the slicer wheel caps, console-activated oil slicks, blast shield and radar screen fitted required Paul to find his own Q-Branch director, this one named Brian Uiga, a gent who had done the same with his BMW 7 Series. As for what it took, Paul said, "We got together and planned the project and set a budget, and... the plan didn't work and the budget was toast." Still, they got it done - including the ejector seat - and it only required drilling one hole. You can see the result in the video below.
