Miller Genuine Draft/ Alfa Romeo Spider Sweepstakes Patrick Racing Team on 2040-cars
Greenwood, Indiana, United States
Up for auction, 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider with 414 miles, in excellent condition. This is the car awarded as Miller Brewing Company Grand Prize for the Miller Genuine Draft/Genuine Draft Light Alfa Romeo Spider winning sweepstakes sponsoring Pat Patrick Racing Team. This vehicle has been stored in a controled environment since 1991. Notes to the vehicle, New Tires were installed and the fuel tank has been replaced with sending unit and both fuel pumps, all new!. When I got the vehicle it had 381 miles on the odometer and now it shows 414 that's 33 miles driven since ownership. Do Not Ask To Test Drive. That privilege belongs to the new owner. This is for local pick-up only. If you would like to hear or see the vehicle run you can set up a appointment by calling (317) 882-1613 or my cell (317) 525-8054 and arrangements will be made. The Vehicle has a protective coating the covers the complete underbody and the engine compartment, due to being stored in 1991. As you can tell, the vehicle is in mint condition. I have enclosed pictures of the letter from Mr. Scott H. Nichols, Promotions Specialist, Miller Brewing Company. If you have any question, please call the numbers listed and I will be more than happy to assist you. Thank You.

Marchionne on Alfa's US return, Dodge Dart's powertrain weakness and minivan plans
Fri, 18 Jan 2013As a reporter covering an auto show, the one opportunity you never want to miss is going to the Sergio Marchionne press briefing.
"This undertaking to bring Alfa back is a one-shot deal... We are not going to do this twice."
There just aren't that many real characters left in the auto industry. Marchionne, who sits atop both Chrysler and Fiat, is not only one of the smartest execs in the business, but also the most frank. Herein, a sample of the quotable always-sweatered executive:
Just 45% of Fiat dealers are profitable, and they're angry about it
Mon, 07 Oct 2013<
On average, Fiat dealers have only been selling about 17 cars a month.
We've been wondering for some time how Fiat dealers in North America have been getting along with just one model range in their showrooms up until recently. Franchisees spent millions building, stocking and manning sleek new 'studio' showrooms, only to have but a single model to sell, the cherubic 500. And even with its many derivatives, the Cinquecento is still an inexpensive model with its attendant lower margins. Perhaps it should come as no surprise then, that just 45 percent of US Fiat dealers are said to be profitable.
