This Afla originally belonged to the owner of Alfa Performance Connection in Orange County, California and acquired by the previous owner in February 2003 with 131,000 miles on the clock.  The new owner continued to maintain it religiously while putting on 30,000 miles.  In 2008 the new owner had moved out of the area and had the car stored in an enclosed garage until just recently.  The car just received fresh oil and filter, new plugs and new battery.  Due to religious maintenance this car is in very good condition even after sitting on side lines for over 5 years.

CAR HAS CLEAN CALIFORNIA TITLE

NOTE TO CALIFORNIA BUYERS: The car was not declared "non-operational" from the time it was stored and as such there are DMV back fees due.  According to previous owner the amount is close to $1000.  Registration, smog and any back fees are responsibility of the buyer.

NOTE TO ALL NON-CALIFORNIA BUYERS: The back fees due are only if you plan to register and operate this car in the State of California.

There is over $8000 in service receipts for work that has been performed by the previous owner.  This does not include work done by APC such as engine rebuild, installation of S Cams, etc.  I will only list what I have proof of:

- Team Dynamics Light Alloy Wheels/w Michellin MXV4 - mileage not indicated
- Right Side Engine Mounts, Lube, Oil, Filter - 131,246 miles
- Front Struts, Strut Pad Bearings, Blower Motor, Heater Core, A/C & Water Pump Belt, Retrofit to R134A A/C refrigerant - 131,325 miles

The Alfa currently has just under 161,000 miles so the timing belt has just over 10,000 miles.  Thats another 20,000 miles before the next change.  There are receipts included with the car for all the work listed.

Pros:
- Religiously maintained and has documented history

I would recommend replacing the tires with the included set and replacing the fuel filter - it was not replaced by the previous owner after taking the car out of storage.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA heritage liveries revealed, and here's what it will cost

Thu, Apr 30 2020

Alfa Romeo created the Giulia GTA as a tribute to one of its most successful race cars, and the connection between the two models won't stop at the nameplate. Buyers will have the chance to order their hot-rodded sedan in one of several heritage-laced paint combinations worn decades ago by race-winning models. Designers immersed themselves in Alfa Romeo's archives department to analyze the most emblematic color combinations worn by the original GTA and its derivatives during the 1960s and the 1970s. White with green stripes was common, as was red with a yellow front fascia. The firm often competed with red cars, so painting the front end yellow, white, or another contrasting color allowed race officials and fans to quickly identify the driver. Stylists working in Alfa Romeo's Centro Stile then re-interpreted their favorite liveries to suit the Giulia GTA introduced in March 2020. The Italian firm said availability will be limited, but it didn't reveal how many cars it will assign a classic color combination to. Those who miss out will have to choose between green, white, and red. Alfa Romeo will cap GTA production at 500 examples. Pricing on the European market starts at ˆ143,000, while the lighter GTAm model (which is included in the 500-car production run) carries a base price of ˆ147,000. These figures represent $155,000 and $160,000, respectively, though pricing for the American market hasn't been released. Every customer will receive a Bell helmet, a car cover that matches the paint, and a stint at the Alfa Romeo Driving Academy. GTAm buyers will also get a racing suit, gloves, and shoes made by Alpinestars. Dyed-in-the-wool fans will have the opportunity to take delivery of their Giulia at the Autodelta workshop in Balocco, Italy. That's where many of Alfa Romeo's greatest race cars were developed and built. Those for whom Alfa's sportiest sedan in decades will remain a dream have the car's configurator as a consolation prize. Alfa Romeo 8C and GTV: Classic names revived as high-powered hybrids

Fri, Jun 1 2018

BOLOCCO, Italy — There were grand plans for Alfa Romeo at FCA's last five-year plan. By 2018, we were supposed to get eight new products, including a new "specialty" vehicle. In reality, we've gotten the Giulia and Stelvio. At this year's follow-up, Alfa Romeo brand head Tim Kuniskis called the last plan ambitious, but he offered a new vision that was both more realistic and more far-reaching. Beyond doubling down on utility and electrified vehicles, by 2022 Alfa has plans to revive both the 8C and GTV names as high-performance hybrids. Since 2014, Alfa sales are up 160 percent, with an estimated 170,000 vehicles to be sold in 2018. The North American market counts for 16 percent of that, up from nothing back in 2013. Future products will focus on Alfa's current strengths: styling and performance. Look for new compact and full-size utility vehicles to slot on each side of the Stelvio. Plans for a larger sedan seemed to have been nixed, though a long-wheelbase version of the Giulia will make it to the ever-increasing Chinese market. The most exciting news obviously comes from the return of the 8C supercar and GTV sports car. We have few details, but what we do know looks promising. The 8C will use a carbon-fiber chassis with a mid-mounted twin-turbo V6. More than 700 horsepower will be sent to all four wheels thanks to an electrically-driven front axle. The car should hit 62 mph in fewer than 3 seconds. The GTV will be slightly more tame, though Alfa is promising more than 600 horsepower from its hybrid powertrain. The four-seater will also have all-wheel drive, torque vectoring and a 50/50 weight distribution. The brief teaser image shows a car that looks like a two-door Giulia, though it's unclear if we'll actually get a new coupe. Electrification, autonomy and connectivity are coming, too. Obviously, the 8C and GTV will get electrified powertrains, but look for each Alfa Romeo model to have some sort of electrification available. Look for six plug-in hybrids with all-electric ranges of more than 30 miles. Level 2 and 3 autonomous systems are coming, too. Get lost in Evo's sublime 2013 Car of the Year testing

Fri, 08 Nov 2013

Every year Evo stages its Car of the Year test, bringing the best performance cars in the world to one location for an epic shootout. This year the magazine pitted eight CotY finalists against each other on Route Napoleon in Southern France - Evo claims it's the "best road in the world" - and then proceeded to nitpick the smallest of faults on each car until the winner could be named. You see, this year's lineup of machines was just so good that only one car obviously wasn't CotY material from the get-go. Can you guess which one judging from the list below?
- Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
- Audi R8 V10 Plus
