Financing is available!!! Up for sale is my clean title 2004 Carbon Grey Acura TSX, 97,050 miles. I have owned this car since early 2006 and I am the second owner. It s a great blend of class and performance. It had approx 28,000 miles on it when I purchased it from Harrison Auto Sales in Irwin, PA. It was originally owned by a female and has service records from an Acura dealership when I bought it. The car has very low mileage for the year; it isn t surprising to see these cars have 200,000 plus miles without any issues. This TSX is a quick, great handling car that is great on gas (gets 24 city & 32 hwy), easy on maintenance costs, and extremely reliable. It also scores very high in safety tests as it is used as a family car. It is an amazing, fun car to drive and receives tons of complements. Another added bonus is this car is very cheap to insure, compared to the competition. Only the highest quality parts were used. You don t see hardly any of these cars in the area with this amount of attention to detail. This TSX is producing somewhere around 240+ HP. The engine doesn t burn any oil and the car in general is 100% mechanically perfect without any unresolved issues. The A/C is ice cold, all scheduled maintenance has been preformed, always garaged, custom 18 inch Enkei wheels, excellent condition, looks & drives great, must see, non-smoker, title in hand, upgraded sound system, very well maintained!!! One very minor accident, rear bumper was repainted for $600. Only 93 octane was used!

The following maintenance schedule was followed:
Mobil 1 Full-Synthetic 5W-30 Motor Oil was changed every 3,000 miles

OEM Acura (Honda) ATF DW-1 Transmission Fluid drained (NOT FLUSHED - very important on Acura / Honda transmissions! every 30,000 miles

Air Filter changed / cleaned every 15,000 miles

Cabin Filter changed every 15,000 miles

Brake Fluid & Radiator Fluid drained (Not Flushed) every 2 years

The following describes the build:

Acura recalling 43k MDX and RLX models over seatbelt issue

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

If you've ever lived in a wintery climate, you may have noticed something strange: no, not the perilously enticing sparkle of cold metal in the sunlight or the way your warm breath suddenly becomes visible in the frigid air, but the way your seatbelt seems increasingly reluctant to retract as the temperature drops. Acura, however, has found the problem more serious than a minor inconvenience, and is recalling some 43,000 vehicles across the United States to address the issue.
The recall in question affects about 7,000 RLX sedans (from the 2014 model year) and another 36,000 MDX crossovers (covering the 2014 and 2015 model years) to have their front seatbelts replaced. In the affected vehicles and in very low temperatures, Acura has found that "the driver's and front passenger's seatbelts may not release from the retracted position." Needless to say, seatbelts that can't be used don't offer any protection in the event of an accident, so the Japanese automaker is notifying owners and dealers to hook up to have those seatbelts replaced.

Acura will show all-new MDX Prototype in Detroit

Wed, 12 Dec 2012

Acura says it will show a prototype of its 2014 MDX crossover at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, and we'll admit that the announcement has left us in a bit of confusion. See, the Acura press release says that the MDX proto will present "Aero Sculpture" design language, "alluring proportions" and "arching body lines." It has been accompanied by a sketch (above, click to enlarge) that, indeed, shows off a swoopy, alluring CUV.
Yet we have spy shots from two months ago of what is supposed to be the 2014 MDX, and unless the camouflage is actually some sort of vehicular moo moo, there isn't really a swoopy line on it. It is stout and substantial, but not in a way that makes us think of "Aero Sculpture." We'll know in a few weeks where the truth resides. It would appear that Acura's rendering artist has done a masterful fade on the rear glass/D-pillar area of the vehicle.
If you want to see the answer in real time, the reveal will be broadcast as it happens on Acura's webcast site. There's a press release below with the details.

Weekly Recap: Chrysler forges ahead with new name, same mission

Sat, Dec 20 2014

Chrysler is history. Sort of. The 89-year-old automaker was absorbed into the Fiat Chrysler Automobiles conglomerate that officially launched this fall, and now the local operations will no longer use the Chrysler Group name. Instead, it's FCA US LLC. Catchy, eh? Here's what it means: The sign outside Chrysler's Auburn Hills, MI, headquarters says FCA (which it already did) and obviously, all official documents use the new name, rather than Chrysler. That's about it. The executives, brands and location of the headquarters aren't changing. You'll still be able to buy a Chrysler 200. It's just made by FCA US LLC. This reinforces that FCA is one company going forward – the seventh largest automaker in the world – not a Fiat-Chrysler dual kingdom. While the move is symbolic, it is a conflicting moment for Detroiters, though nothing is really changing. Chrysler has been owned by someone else (Daimler, Cerberus) for the better part of two decades, but it still seemed like it was Chrysler in the traditional sense: A Big 3 automaker in Detroit. Now, it's clearly the US division of a multinational industrial empire; that's good thing for its future stability, but bittersweet nonetheless. Undoubtedly, it's an emotion that's also being felt at Fiat's Turin, Italy, headquarters as the company will no longer officially be called Fiat there. Digest that for a moment. What began in 1899 as the Societa Anonima Fabbrica Italiana di Automobili Torino – or FIAT – is now FCA Italy SpA. In a statement, FCA said the move "is intended to emphasize the fact that all group companies worldwide are part of a single organization." The new names are the latest changes orchestrated by CEO Sergio Marchionne, who continues to makeover FCA as an international automaker that has ties to its heritage – but isn't tied down by it. Everything from the planned spinoff of Ferrari, a new FCA headquarters in London and the pending demise of the Dodge Grand Caravan in 2016 has shown that the company is willing to move quickly, even if it's controversial. While renaming the United States and Italian divisions were the moves most likely to spur controversy, FCA said other regions across the globe will undergo similar name changes this year. Despite the mixed emotions, it's worth noting: The name of the merged company that oversees all of these far-flung units is Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. Obviously the Chrysler corporate name isn't completely history.
