Let me answer some questions I have been receiving: 1. The roof rack is easy to take off. All you have to do is unscrew three screws and you can remove it from the roof with no problem. The bike part of the roof rack is not shown in the pics but I do have it and it is an official Acura part. 2. I am financing through Acura Financing. You have two options for payment. You can pay Acura Financing with a Cashiers Check. They will in turn make out the title in the buyers name. If your bank needs to work with my bank, we can make that happen as well. The other option is to make the Cashiers Check out to me and I will in turn mail it to Acura Financing for the payoff. Either option is fine with me. 3. The 20 inch wheels and tires do not change the handling of this car. I thought it would but it rides as smooth and quiet as if the stock wheels and tires were on. Turning radius is normal. The tires are in great shape! I have had them rotated during every oil change. I have only had to have the oil changed twice. 4. Gas mileage is excellent and yes this car can get up in speed and acceleration (I guess that's why they have 160 on the dash). 5. Yes, the car is in the excellent shape that it looks like in the pics. What you see is what you get. 6. I am only selling because I'm buying a home and I need to get rid of the debt ratio that I have. I do not want to sell this car and I am taking a big loss in just one year of ownership. 7. Last but not least, I have this car up for sale locally, Craigslist, Ebay, and Autotrader so first come, first gets the car. |

Acura NSX Concept is pretty on the inside, too [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jan 2013The Acura NSX is still a couple years away from production (isn't it always?), but Acura has taken the dark window tint off last year's concept and opened the doors to show us what the interior of the car looks like. From what we can tell on the show-floor display, Acura's hybrid supercar will not only have a sexy exterior design, it will look great from the inside as well, but Acura pointed out that this is just "one possible direction" the interior could go. We suppose that means we can look forward to many more NSX concepts - you won't hear any complaints from us.
Building on Acura's latest tagline of "the synergy between man and machine," the NSX promises to provide a "human connected space" offering a simplified layout presumably chocked full of technology. Looking inside the concept reveals a cabin wrapped in maroon leather with sport bucket seats that will certainly provide plenty of support. We're sure there will be more information about the car and its interior at upcoming auto shows, but until then, scroll down for Acura's press release.
Honda is spending $124 million on a new wind tunnel facility in Ohio
Fri, Apr 21 2017Ford isn't the only company building a multi-million dollar wind tunnel this year. Honda is also getting in on the action. Its new facility will cost less than Ford's at $124 million, and construction begins this summer. It will be built at the Transportation Research Center in Ohio, which is where Honda's NSX proving grounds are located. Honda will install a five-belt rolling road in the tunnel for testing of more pedestrian vehicles, and a wide, high-speed, single belt version for testing of sports cars and race cars. However, it seems the Honda facility will only be capable of testing wind speeds of up to 192 mph, whereas Ford claims a top speed of 200 mph. Cameras and microphones will also be set up inside the testing area at the Honda tunnel to help find wind noise trouble spots. Honda won't necessarily be the only company using the new wind tunnel either. The facility will be available for other groups and companies to use. ACURA ILX: Acura's entry-level sedan continues for 2017 with no real changes but the addition of Lunar Silver Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic and San Marino Red exterior colors. ACURA TLX: The TLX continues into its third model year with only modest changes. New for 2017 are three new colors – San Marino Red, Lunar Silver Metallic and Modern Steel Metallic.
