For sale is a 2009 dark blue acura tsx with 94,000 miles. The car has a clean title and is in good shape. Like most acuras this car has many features and drives fantastic. The car needs nothing and has never had any issues. The tires and brakes both have over 50% life left. It is equiped with a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder engine that makes 200 hp and gets an average of 30 mpg. The car has an automatic tranny that shifts great. Don't let the miles scare you as they have all been highway miles and these engines have been know to go several hundred thousand miles without issues. The car does have some minor small flaws on the body as to be expected with a used vehicle but nothing major at all. The engine also uses a timming chain so there is no need to worry about replacing a timming belt. I am only selling as I am looking at moving into a truck. Acura recalling nearly 20k new MDX crossovers over AWD driveshafts
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Acura is recalling nearly 20,000 of its 2014 MDX crossovers fitted with all-wheel drive over driveshaft concerns. The affected vehicles were built between May 6, 2013 and October 14, 2013, and have bolts that attach the driveshaft to the transmission that may not have been tightened properly.
Needless to say, an improperly secured driveshaft could lead to a number of problems, including everything from excessive drivetrain noise to full driveshaft detachment, a condition which could result in a loss of power and crash.
There's been no reports of accidents, injuries or deaths relating to the driveshaft issues. Acura will begin notifying all 19,197 owners in question of the recall, and will request that they report in for repairs, which will consist of tightening the driveshaft-attaching bolts. Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee earns Seinfeld four more seasons
Thu, May 1 2014We're going to be talking about Jerry Seinfeld and his excellent web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, for quite a long time, as it's been picked up for four more seasons. Considering the show just wrapped up its third season a few months ago, this marks quite a big win. The new order, reported by Variety, calls for 24 episodes, with Acura carrying on as the show's sole and primary sponsor. CICGC is already slated for a fourth season this summer, which includes five episodes, and a seven-episode fifth season in the fall. Guests for season four include Aziz Ansari, Jon Stewart and Sarah Jessica Parker, although we've no idea what sort of cars are in store. It's unclear when seasons six through nine will air, but if 2014 is any indication, we should expect the bulk of the episodes to arrive some time in 2015.
