EXCELLENT CONDITION 2006 Acura TSX w/ Navigation & Tech package

Up for auction is my Excellent - nearly MINT condition, 2006 Acura TSX w/ Navigation and Technology Package.  I purchased this car NEW in 2006 from the Dealer with 2 miles on it.  I have been the ONLY driver and owner of the car.  Since purchased, the car has always been garaged and cleaned almost weekly.  I have taken immaculate care of the vehicle.  It has always been serviced at Acura of Westchester - the dealer it was purchased from.  Oil changes have religiously been every 3000 miles regardless of anything.  The vehicle has NEVER been in an accident or had any major mechanical issues.  The Brakes were last changed in November (New Rotors and pads) by the Acura Dealer the car was purchased from.  I have had the transmission fluid flushed and refilled as well as the engine coolant, and brake fluid, by the dealer, as called for in the owners manual. I have changed the tires about 2.5 years ago.  The battery was replaced about 1 year ago because I wanted a fresh one.  The vehicle has never once had any mechanical issues and I would feel 100% confident driving it to California Tomorrow, if I needed to.

I have both sets of keys, 2 key fobs, the owners manual, and have also installed wheel locks on the wheels.  The mats / carpet is in MINT condition as I purchased Acura Rubber Mats (See pics) the first week I got the car and placed them over the carpet which has been underneath ever since.  The carpet mats have basically never been used.  The rubber mats are included w/ the car.

The car has every option I could get - Navigation / tech packge, Bluetooth, HID lights, Ice cold Air, power driver and passenger seats, power moonroof, heated driver and passenger seats, Cruise Control, 6 disc CD changer, Aux Input for ipod etc, automatic climate control etc.

This is hands down the most reliable car I have ever owned and I am absolutely convinced it can EASILY go an additional 100,000 miles if continued to be properly cared for and maintained.

There are NO mechanical issues whatsoever.  The only cosmetic issues (to be expected on a car that is 6.5 years old) is a few small scratches on the rear drivers side bumper (not very noticeable but I tried my best to take a picture).  There are also 2 small (1/2 inch) circular indents on the rear bumber (looks like from a licence plate bracket that made contact with the rear bumper).  There is a very VERY minor, hardly noticeable ding (1/4 inch) on the passenger door (so insignificant and small I was unable to have it show in a picture) but I wanted to point it out as I am fanatical about the condition of my car (Hence the immaculate condition it is in).   Other then what was pointed out, the exterior is mint as is the interior.

I have attached as many pictures as Ebay will allow me, so if you need more, please let me know. I encourage prospective buyers to view the vehicle in person, so you can be assured my description is 100% accurate.

Please ask any and all questions BEFORE bidding.  I work during the day so I will only be able to respond to questions AFTER work hours (7pm).  I will do my best to respond as soon as I can.  This vehicle is ONLY for sale in the United States and I would prefer locally.  I do not offer shipping and am not responsible for shipping.

Payment is by certified Bank Check or CASH - with CASH being preferred, or a combination of both - but again, CASH is preferred so I do not have to wait for a check to clear.  I have the title in my possession and it is 100% CLEAR - I bought the car outright - no loans.

Absolutley no low ball offers.  I know the value of the car and it is in MINT condition.  It will make someone very happy and is an incredibly reliable car.  Obviously there is no warranty as I am not a car dealer - I am a private seller, but I have described the vehicle 100% and want whoever buys it to be happy.  I try to list my auctions as I would want to read them if I were the buyer.  I would want to know everything , good and bad, so I can make an informed decision.  I know whoever buys this car will be happy - it almost pains me to sell it, and I often go back and forth with the idea of just keeping it, its in that good of condition!  This car is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction or refuse to sell it if anyone low-balls me or it sells locally for a better offer.

Thanks for bidding

-Jason

Acura RLX will die after 2020 model year

Fri, May 15 2020

Only Acura knows why its flagship RLX sedan is still on sale; every year that we had occasion to remember the RLX — which wasn't every year — seemed like a good year to let the car die peacefully. Automotive News reports the deed is finally done, or rather, will be at the end of 2020, when Acura discontinues the model that started with the RL in 1996. Honda told U.S. dealers yesterday that in other markets like Japan, the four-door will continue to sell as the Honda Legend. Honda's comment to AN included, "With SUVs leading the luxury market, the highly successful RDX and MDX now serve as volume leaders of the Acura brand," and, "We will further strengthen our sports sedans, consistent with the performance-focused direction we have been taking Acura over the past four years." Speaking of the devil, the RL and RLX — and Acura as a brand — never got out from under the weight of the Legend sedan, that ancestor being the second of Acura's three albatrosses after the original NSX and the Integra. The RL never equaled the Legend's worst year of U.S. sales. The RLX, a combination of arousing performance under anodyne styling costing premium German money, might have performed the same feat viz the RL, but the RL sold less than 5,000 units here for the last five years of its life. The RLX has only exceeded 5,000 sales once, in 2013. Last year, 1,019 units found buyers.  Acura's focus now is the NSX halo and the continuing overhaul of the volume lineup. The new RDX is going great guns, the new MDX crossover is due this year. The slightly larger and Type S concept-inspired TLX sedan is expected to be another gift to 2020, followed by the return of a bona fide Type S next year, after which the ILX compact sedan gets its turn. Last year was the first time in five years the TLX dipped below 30,000 sales in the U.S., impressively steady going for a segment with shocking attrition. Although the demise of the RLX gives up on the aspiration for a big luxury flagship, the coming TLX should help us forget what the RLX represented. If we hadn't already.

Acura may go all AWD in bid to mimic Subaru's success

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

Acura's struggles have been well publicized. The Honda-owned luxury brand doesn't seem sure of where it's going or what it's trying to accomplish, with its cars and marketing lacking a coherent theme. Now, a new report from Automotive News claims that the brand could follow the success of Subaru and (to a lesser extent) Audi, and adopt all-wheel-drive as standard across its model range.
"I think that's the way we should go," Acura boss Koichi Fukuo told Automotive News.
Acura already offers some form of all-wheel drive on every vehicle in its line aside from the lamentable ILX sedan. That could change as Acura begins rolling out next-generation versions of its still relatively new stable of sedans and crossovers.

Honda delays JDM Legend over quality concerns

Tue, Dec 30 2014

Honda has been having some quality issues lately, to say the least. Most of those have revolved around the airbags supplied by Takata, but not exclusively. The new Fit Hybrid, for example, has been subject to five consecutive recalls in the year since it launched. And now the Japanese automaker is reportedly delaying the launch of its new Legend sedan. The Legend, for those unfamiliar, is what Honda calls the Acura RLX in the Japanese Domestic Market – a model that has been subject to a handful of recalls in the United States, affecting components ranging from headlights to seatbelts to suspension bolts. Such quality control issues have prompted Honda to delay the introduction of its flagship sedan in its home market, pushing its arrival in Japanese showrooms back from the fall (when the model was revealed) initially to January 22 and now to February 20, according to the report from Bloomberg. The extra time is earmarked the give Honda engineers the opportunity to look into potential problems with the vehicle's radar safety system and its advanced hybrid powertrain, before introducing it to the local market. Hopefully further recalls can be avoided once deliveries have commenced.
