Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee earns Seinfeld four more seasons

We're going to be talking about Jerry Seinfeld and his excellent web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, for quite a long time, as it's been picked up for four more seasons. Considering the show just wrapped up its third season a few months ago, this marks quite a big win. The new order, reported by Variety, calls for 24 episodes, with Acura carrying on as the show's sole and primary sponsor. CICGC is already slated for a fourth season this summer, which includes five episodes, and a seven-episode fifth season in the fall. Guests for season four include Aziz Ansari, Jon Stewart and Sarah Jessica Parker, although we've no idea what sort of cars are in store. It's unclear when seasons six through nine will air, but if 2014 is any indication, we should expect the bulk of the episodes to arrive some time in 2015. Hidden Integra Type R spends years behind secret barn wall

There's no telling what lengths that person might go to to protect the valuable commodity. In the case of collector cars, some might take out extra insurance, some might store it away in climate-controlled facilities, and others, such as the man in this story, build a secret storage room behind a false wall in a barn. The stowed 2001 Acura Integra Type R even had posters to look at. Featured by BarnFinds.com, this Type R is for sale in Canada via eBay for C $39,999.99, or about $30,000. It's not one of the baby-fresh untouched examples that have worked their way onto auction stages recently, but it has an extremely unique past. As seen in the photos, this Type R was stored in its own room behind a particle board wall in a barn. The room had its own lighting, posters on the wall, and the owner also used an additional fabric cover over Championship White exterior. It has 82,000 miles on it, and a few scratches and dings on the car prove it's spent some time in the wild. The seller says it's "all original paint except maybe for the front bumper." But it's an original car with a clean title and red seats (the seller claims Acura sold only 250 examples with red seats in Canada). According to Fox News, interested buyers have offered up to $7,500 just for the seats, but the owner refused to part it out. Bid on the entire car at eBay.

Acura builds 345-horsepower RDX A-Spec for SEMA

The 2019 Acura RDX is great — a return to form for the sporty compact luxury crossover. So there's no real harm in giving one the SEMA treatment, especially since it entails a real motorsport tie-in and some legitimate performance parts. As for the giant graphics, well, it's SEMA after all. Graham Rahal races for Honda in the IndyCar series, and he also has his own performance parts company — named, sensibly enough, Graham Rahal Performance — which he started in 2017. They sell some private-label bits manufactured by other companies to their spec, some off-the-shelf parts, and they do tuning and installation work on customer cars. Acura gave the job of building the SEMA RDX to Rahal. There's a fair bit going on under the hood to get the RDX to 345 horsepower from the factory 272 ponies. The 2.0-liter turbo engine gets a bunch of enhancements. The turbo, intake, exhaust manifolds, downpipe, and cat-back (a GRP design) are all aftermarket. There's a customer intercooler, too. KTuning did the ECU with a custom map. On the handling front, the RDX wears Eibach springs, StopTech brakes, HRE wheels at 21 inches, and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The RDX started life as an A-Spec model in Apex Blue Pearl, and from there GRP applied carbon fiber garnish to the mirrors, grille accents, and lower fascia. Troy Lee Designs did the exterior graphics, and inside there's more carbon fiber and a custom steering wheel (courtesy of Max Papis's MPI Innovations shop).
