The Bad: Front left fender damage, "A" pillar was modified to hold 3 gauge pillar, removed due to awful look. piece of plastic missing from passenger side exterior windshield (no leaks or anything, just missing), Worn leather on steering wheel, Front bumper fasteners not completely in tact (see description for details)

The Good: Paint is in excellent condition, VERY few scratches, Eibach lowering springs, camber kit, Kenwood in-dash Nav system, Angel Eyes HID headlight replacements, Excellent interior shape other than worn steering wheel and aforementioned A pillar piece, Cold AC, Hot heat, Power windows/sunroof. Stock springs and Headlights included.

I traded my WRX which had some severe rear quarter panel damage which I knew would be difficult to sell, for this RSX. The owner before me had it for 3 years, and was about to install a universal turbo kit which was given to me with the car. The intercooler from the kit had been installed, for cosmetic purposes apparently, which has since been removed and sold. The best care was not taken when installing the intercooler, at which point the fasteners on the sides of the bumper were slightly damaged and you can see in the pictures what I mean. This could be easily repaired with some bondo or of course another bumper put on to replace. The bumper does not fall off or become jarred loose when driving , as I have put 5k miles on the car myself (Front fasteners are very secure and as long as it's not pulled on, stays flush on the sides). The biggest negative is the front left fender, which I tried to show best I could in the pictures. Car gets amazing gas mileage, (took a 6 hour drive to the beach on 1/2 tank). I simply made the WRX trade because I will be purchasing a Subaru wagon as soon as I can, and knew this would sell better. Asking $7000 firm, as I feel it's fair for the market on RSX's right now (NADA values at 7600 retail). As mentioned in "the good", the car has been slightly lowered and camber kit installed, which I was working on getting the stock springs back on to return to factory, but have not yet. Please contact with any questions/inquiries. Serious ones only please. I'm not hiding anything here and it's worth every bit of the $7,500 I'm asking, especially after seeing what some of these are going for.  Had a huge ordeal with the person I traded with which took a long time to get the title settled, but all is well now. Thanks!

Honda finds new Green Path to reduce CO2 emissions

Fri, Sep 25 2015

In the wake of the Volkswagen diesel scandal, it's impossible to hear an automaker talk about its overall environmental efforts and not think to yourself, "for real?" Still, we're willing to listen. And Honda representatives gave it their best shot yesterday in Marysville, OH as they introduced a small group of journalist to the company's expanded initiative aimed at cutting CO2 emissions and the total life-cycle environmental impact of Honda products. Called Green Path, the initiative now includes a $210-million expansion at Honda's Marysville, OH manufacturing plant to install a better, cleaner paint shop. Speaking at the facility yesterday, Honda representatives said that the plant room is not only better for the environment (it uses limestone dust instead of water to capture paint particles, for example, reducing water usage by about 2 million gallons annually. Overall, the new paint shop will have 60 percent less VOC emissions and reduce CO2 emissions by 18 percent), it also makes the cars look better. That's whey the two-step temperature curing process will initially only be used on Acuras to differentiate them from the competition. Honda will fire up trials in late 2017. There's more to Green Path than the new paint show, of course. The company wants to reduce - in some cases eliminate - what it calls substances of concern (SOCs), things like lead and mercury. There are also new wind turbines in Ohio to supply power to Honda plants, the Environmental Leadership Program for independent dealerships to make their own green moves, and swapping out fluorescent light bulbs for LEDs, among other efforts. In the Marysville Auto Plant, for example, the Assembly department has over 10,000 task light bulbs. The fluorescent ones used to need to be replaced every three years, but the new LEDs have a life span of 16 years. Honda says that calculating up the impact of all of these little changes will remove an average of 3.822 kilograms of CO2 from the production tally of each car it makes. The company's stated goal is to reduce its total greenhouse gas emissions by 50 percent (compared to 2000 levels) by 2050. You can find out more in Honda's press release and video, below. Honda to present HR-V, updated Acura ILX at LA show

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

Honda has already showcased its new Fit-based crossover around the world. We've seen it in Tokyo wearing the Vezel name and we've seen it in Paris in 'prototype' form. We've even seen photos of the US-spec version. We just haven't seen that North American model in the flesh, but that'll all be fixed next month at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
That's where Honda will, at long last, unveil the US version of its new HR-V subcompact. The Japanese automaker hasn't told us much else, save to say that the HR-V will, of course, slot in below the CR-V in US showrooms. It'll also feature the company's lauded Magic Seat system, "which allows for multiple seating configurations and the ability to fold the second row seat completely flat for added cargo space."
Alongside the HR-V, Honda's luxury division will also be showcasing a revised version of its ILX sedan at the LA show as well. Acura hasn't revealed precise details of what revisions are in store for its smallest sedan - or a more detailed photo than the teaser inset at right - but it is promising "a comprehensive update that include a potent new powertrain, more forceful, sporty exterior styling and a substantially upgraded interior design."
