You are bidding on an Original Acura Integra GSR. The car has 137k original miles on the body. However, the car has a JDM B18C  GSR motor with ~55k on the engine.  (Stock Internals ) These engines alone go for ~3,000.  In addition, the engine is running a t3/t4 hybrid setup with a 54 trim. The car is running a conservative 10 psi, and has made over 310whp.  Engine has new NGK plugs , NGK wires, valve cover gasket.  I am going to include the stock ecu as well, if one desires to take the turbo off.

NO RESERVE!!!

Engine: B18C JDM GSR ~56k

Exhaust: 3 inch Racing Industries Full turbo back.

Turbo: T3/T4 Hybrid set up with 54 trim.

Interior: 10/10 Mint GSR Black Leathers

Again, this car is an Original GSR with a healthy JDM GSR swap and a turbo kit.  The GSR has the original sought after GSR leathers as well as GSR blades.

Only reason I am selling this car is that I need money to buy a truck for work.
*Just bought a truck and have no time for this project any more. My loss your gain!

I recently just bought a truck for a new job and have no time for my project GSR.  This car was my daily for over a year and gave me no hiccups at all. It made over 300whp on its old tune. With some tlc and a little work this Turbo Gsr will be back at it! I hope to sell it to an enthusiast who had the same love for this car as I had when I first got it. This car only had three owners!! The leather is in great shape and the JDM GSR runs great!

This is perfect for some one who has the time for this car!
Make someone's day with this GSR-T today!!
If you are an enthusiast you know the potential of this car and that this list price is a steal!

Cons:

Needs a new clutch soon as it is still on the stock clutch. Clutch grabs, but slips at higher rpms.
Rear springs should be replaced.
Car will need brakes soon.
A/C has been removed.
Retune would be ideal.
Cosmetically, the car is a 6.5 out of 10.

Could use a new hood as the previous owner had an after market hood. Car has usual dings and dents for a 10+ year old car.
A new hood and re-spray and this car would be mint.

Also, this car is being sold locally, and I reserve the right to terminate this auction early.

***Car runs and drives fine, but is off the road and will need to be PICKED UP ONLY!***
Vehicle does NOT have an existing warranty, nor does it have any implied warranty. This vehicle is sold as is.

I WILL NOT SHIP THE VEHICLE. I WILL NOT SELL THIS VEHICLE OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES.  If you need the vehicle shipped you will need to make necessary arrangements.

Any questions, feel free to message me! With each day these cars get more rare and sought after, don't let this opportunity slip away. Also, if additional pictures are needed, message me and I will provide them. Thank you for your interest and Happy Bidding!

Best cars for snow and ice in 2023 and 2024

Tue, Jan 23 2024

What's the best car for snow? The real answer is "the one with winter tires." What do we mean by that? You could have the finest, most advanced all-wheel-drive system or four-wheel drive in the world, but if you're running all-seasons (the spork of tires), your fancy four-wheeler won't matter much. The odds are, any vehicle on the road running good winter tires will probably perform adequately in slippery, slushy and/or snowy road conditions. (Here's a more complete explanation of why winter tires are totally worth it). In other words, you don't really need any of the cars on this list. With a set of winter tires, countless others will do the job, and even these will be at their best with proper rubber. You can find a variety of winter tires for your car here at Tire Rack. Keep in mind that you will need a full set of four snow tires for safety and performance, no matter what you're driving. The days of your dad putting just two snows on the family truckster to get it moving in a straight line are long gone. Don't get us wrong, getting a car that performs well in snow and ice is still a worthy criteria for car buyers. According to the U.S. Transportation Department, 70% of Americans live in places that get snow and ice. And much of the country has been blasted with arctic air for much of the new year. So let's look at the cars. First, we're highlighting choices for a variety of buyers and price points. Second, we're not just considering snow; we're considering general wintery conditions people will experience driving to work or school. As such, these are all choices with advanced all-wheel-drive systems, usually with "torque-vectoring" systems that not only automatically shunt power front and back, but side to side between the rear axles. Most have extra ground clearance for getting through deep snow, and we prefer those vehicles with more responsive steering, throttles and transmissions that provide a greater sense of vehicle control in slippery conditions.    Acura RDX Read our Acura RDX Review Acura's Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system was one of the first to offer torque-vectoring, and besides often being touted for its ability to greatly enhanced dry-road handling, its benefits in the slick stuff can be profound. It's actually surprising that Acura hasn't leaned into this capability further by offering more rugged versions of its vehicles.

Acura spotted testing high-performance TLX sedan

Wed, Nov 21 2018

Back in January at the Detroit Auto Show, Acura promised to dust off the old Type-S moniker to inject some much-needed performance credibility into its current line of sedans and crossovers. At the time, the Japanese luxury brand co-announced a new turbocharged V6 engine and said it would be paired with its Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD). Now, a new set of spy shots has us wondering if an Acura TLX Type-S is right around the corner. It's obvious that the TLX seen in these photos has been blessed with some performance goodies. Large-diameter wheels are shod with low-profile tires, and there's a good chance the suspension has been lowered to match. Most of the camouflage is focused on keeping the fascia and hood covered, which means there are probably some air intakes and bodywork bulges to keep hidden away from prying eyes. Below this prototype's grille is what very well could be an intercooler, which bolsters the notion that there's a turbocharged engine sitting under the hood. And at the rear, we get a very clear look at the car's dual exhaust system. What kind of performance should enthusiasts expect from the Acura TLX Type-S? We'll have to wait and see, but the vehicles accompanying this prototype on its testing runs might offer up some clues. An Audi S4 (354 horsepower) and a Mercedes-AMG C43 (362 hp) were along for the ride. Since that's the case, we'd expect more than 350 ponies if the TLX Type-S is going to compete on at least equal footing. Related Video:

2017 Acura NSX First Drive [w/video]

Mon, Oct 26 2015

The 2017 Acura NSX is heavy. It outweighs the original 1990 car by more than 800 pounds and is over 300 heavier than a Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The NSX is insanely complicated, with an assist motor between the twin-turbo V6 and the nine-speed dual-clutch transmission, plus two torque-vectoring electric motors at the front axle. And the NSX is expensive. It will probably cost $170,000 when it goes on sale in Spring 2016. Commence trolling. If you hadn't guessed, the new NSX isn't much like the first generation built from 1990 to 2005. But the two cars share a common philosophy. Both are Acura's interpretation of what a modern, everyday supercar should be. Based on the new car, things have changed a lot in the last 25 years. For project leader Ted Klaus, the original NSX was one reason he started working at Honda. At the 1990 Detroit Auto Show, "I sat watching that car for a while. A really long while. Even just looking at that car I could see the deep, advanced, functional beauty." The most difficult thing with the new NSX, says Klaus, is to explain how a heavier and more complicated car can outperform other cars in a way that feels like traditional lightweighting. View 33 Photos This is not the way the NSX was supposed to be at first. The original plan was a transverse-mounted, naturally aspirated engine just like the first car. The NSX has a giant bag of neat tricks, but to understand them takes a lengthy explanation that starts with the Sport Hybrid SH-AWD powertrain. Behind the cockpit is a 75-degree, twin-turbocharged, 3.5-liter V6, made specifically for the NSX. On its own it puts out 500 horsepower and 406 pound-feet of torque. The rest of Honda's lineup uses a 60-degree layout, but the wider angle here lowers the center of gravity. Behind the engine is the rear assist motor, with 47 hp and 100 lb-ft. Hanging off the rear of that is the nine-speed dual-clutch, developed in-house. In between the front wheels is the Twin Motor Unit (TMU), a pair of 36-hp, 54-lb-ft electric motors that add or subtract forces to their respective sides. The Power Drive unit manages the electronics, and sits in the center spine of the car like a traditional prop shaft. A lithium-ion battery pack is behind the pair of seats, on the cold side of the firewall. Total system output is 573 hp and 476 lb-ft. This is not the way the NSX was supposed to be at first. The original plan was a transverse-mounted, naturally aspirated engine just like the first car.
