2000 Acura Integra Gs-r Gsr Dohc Vtec 00 Manual Stock No Mods Clean 1 Owner on 2040-cars
Matawan, New Jersey, United States
Selling a stock 2000 Acura Integra GSR. Green exterior, tan leather interior. Original B18C1 DOHC VTEC motor. Has AC, power steering, 4 wheel disc anti-lock brakes, dual airbags, power glass sunroof, power locks/windows/mirrors, CD player, and even the optional cassette tape deck!!! (not that anyone owns cassette tapes anymore). In overall good shape. No issues mechanically. No check engine lights/warning lights. Tires are in good shape, as are the wheels. No accidents. One owner car. Carfax is clean. Bone stock / unmolested / never modified.
For a 13 year old car, this one is in very good shape. As with all older cars, there are small issues. Here they are. Antenna does not move freely up and down sometimes. I will have a new antenna mast included with the sale of the car. The paint is bubbling a little bit on the ends of the right rear wheel well. The spots are small. I can have them taken care of, but I don't want to deal with paint, so I'm leaving it. The driver seat has some wear and tear. Other seats are fine. There is one noticeable ding on the right door, and also a few light dents on the hood. Again, nothing out of the ordinary for a 13 year old car. Other than that, the car is in great overall shape. Stock GSR's are getting harder and harder to find. You can find modded ones, but there are many variables and unknowns. This one is stock, and is a one owner car (I have the original clean title, dating to July 2000 - with 88 miles, and the lien release paperwork from when it was originally financed with the bank). Use the buy it now option before someone buys this from under you. Price is better than competitive with others out there. I will throw more pics up soon. This sale isn't limited to local buyers. I can help arrange for delivery if you are not too far away (say, within 150 miles of 07747, central NJ). Further than that, I can help arrange for auto transport. Just message me with town, state and zip code, and I will get an estimate. I have shipped cars before. Not really a big deal, and happens fairly quick. Transport is to be paid by the buyer (usually $100-$150 up front, and balance to the truck driver when you receive the car). Car is sold as-is, without warranty expressed or implied. Honda/Acura cars are known for their reliability. Please bid only if you have funds ready. A $250 Paypal deposit is due within 24 hours after auction closes, and balance is due within 7 days after auction closes. Any questions, feel free to ask. Happy Bidding!! |

Acura NSX bodywork to be sheathed in zirconium e-coat, fewer paint layers
Tue, 05 Aug 2014Automakers make halo cars to drum up excitement and show off what they can do, but there's more to it than that. Advanced platforms allow a company's engineers to experiment with all sorts of technologies. And in the case of the upcoming new Acura NSX, that includes new paint processes.
Speaking with Autoline in this video interview, Honda's North American Senior VP Jon Minto talked about an innovative zirconium e-coat which it's applying to the new NSX. Unlike some experimental paints developed for Formula One, however, this coating is not designed to minimize drag or enhance cooling: it's designed to be more environmentally friendly.
It's one of a few measures which Honda is implementing on the NSX before expanding it to more accessible models, along with another process that uses fewer coats to reduce energy consumption by 40 percent. Watch the interview with Autoline host John McElroy right here.
The Rolls-Royce Dawn leads this month's list of discounts
Wed, Jul 8 2020If you're one of the few readers of this site who is in the market for a $350,000 Rolls-Royce Dawn, well, first of all, good for you. And you should be prepared to keep some extra money in your pocket, too, as the drop-top Roller leads this month's list of the largest monetary discounts with an average of $14,733 taken off the machine's $359,250 sticker price. That means buyers are paying an average transaction price of $344,517 for the 2020 Rolls-Royce Dawn this month, according to data provided to Autoblog by TrueCar, which equals about 4.1% off the price on the sticker. An intriguing pair of supercars land in second and third positions this month. The 2019 Acura NSX is selling for an average of $145,174 this month, which represents a 9% discount, or $14,373. With an eerily similar 9% discount of $14,079 comes the 2020 Aston Martin Vantage, which has an average transaction price of $142,002 this month. The Maserati Quattroporte is up next with an average discount of $13,634. Another Rolls-Royce model lands in the fifth spot, but instead of the aging Dawn it's the brand-new Cullinan SUV. Although the luxury 'ute boasts a large discount of $12,427, its staggeringly high retail price of $332,750 means buyers are getting a little less than 4% off the sticker. More interesting to most buyers will be the 2019 Lincoln Navigator, which is one of our favorite full-size SUVs in America. Buyers of Lincoln's range-topping vehicle are getting average discounts of $11,761. That represents a 13.4% savings for a final price of $75,940. 2002 Acura NSX fondly remembered in MotorWeek's retro clip
Thu, Mar 17 2016After a long wait, the new Acura NSX is finally here, but so far the latest generation is proving polarizing among enthusiasts. Whether it's complaints about the styling, the nearly $200,000 price, or the switch to hybrid power, nearly everyone seems to have a critique about the new sports coupe. That said, nostalgia for the original NSX remains strong, and the latest MotorWeek Retro Review of the 2002 model reminds us how different the new NSX is from the original. The 2002 model year marked the NSX's transition from pop-up headlights to fixed units, and it also features less noticeable styling tweaks along the sides and at the rear. Behind the driver, there is a 3.2-liter V6 with 290 horsepower and 224 pound-feet of torque, and it routes through a six-speed manual to get the coupe to 60 miles per hour in five seconds. There was also an available automatic gearbox with a 3.0-liter V6 that made 252 hp and 210 lb-ft. MotorWeek's review lavishes praise on the way the NSX drives by calling it "almost unflappable" and saying "body roll was almost nonexistent." With traction control off, the coupe changes character by becoming more twitchy and requiring that drivers use a careful balance of throttle and steering. Sounds perfect. Easily the best part of the review is when MotorWeek claims that a second-generation NSX is on the way. Over a decade later, that vehicle is finally, almost, on sale. Will it live up to the red-hot NSX standard of yore? We're about to find out. If you need any more nostalgia, the show previously remembered the '91 NSX, too. Related Video:
