2012 Acura Tsx Base Wagon 4-door 2.4l on 2040-cars
Greensburg, Pennsylvania, United States
Complete set of (4) brand new tires! Tires not shown in pictures, because they were purchased and installed after the pictures were taken. Genuine Acura remote starter, dealer installed! This was a dealer installed accessory, which set us back over $900 with installation. The body and interior are flawless, hardly discernible from new. The only "flaw" if you will, are a few very minor wheel scuffs. Perfect color combination of Bellanova White Pearl, with Taupe interior. Overall, this car looks as good as new and with only 16K miles, isn't even broken in yet. Standard Features: Although Acura labels this as their "base" trim level, it's far from base. The level of standard equipment on these TSX Sport Wagon's are incredible. When compared to BMW, Audi, and other competitors, the TSX Sport Wagon is a real value in the premium wagon segment. Standard equipment includes HID Xenon headlights, full leather interior, power driver and front passenger seats (with 2-position memory feature for drivers seat), dual zone automatic climate control, bluetooth, power moonroof, anti lock brakes, traction control, and the usual stuff of remote keyless entry, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, tilt & telescopic steering wheel, etc... Additional Features: Complete set of (4) brand new tires. Genuine Acura Remote Starter, installed by the Acura dealer at the time of vehicle purchase, which set us back over $900. Unlike aftermarket remote starters, this genuine Acura starter comes with the piece of mind of being covered under the Acura warranty. We've also had the window's professionally tinted ($290 value). Vehicle History: I am the original owner of the vehicle. Terms of Sale: This vehicle is financed through A.F.S. (Acura Financial Services), so naturally, they have a lien on the vehicle. I'm new to this process, but my understanding is that once A.F.S. receives payment to satisfy the lien, they will release the title to the new owner. If your bank needs to work directly with A.F.S. to handle this transaction, I'm sure that can be arranged. I will expect communication from the buyer within 24 hours of the completion of the sale, to get the paperwork process started. |

Is Acura working on a premium minivan?
Mon, 10 Nov 2014Here's a vehicle that nobody saw coming. Unless Honda/Acura is keen to play tricks on us, our spy shooters recently caught what appears to be an Acura minivan fully camouflaged for testing on some back roads on a rainy day.
Details on the disguised minivan are rather scarce, but it certainly bares all the hallmarks of an Acura. The front grille alone gives it away with a look that mimics the latest MDX, and note that the orientation of the rear door handle heavily suggests that it slides to open. Moving inside, the tester appears to borrow some tech from the luxury brand's parts bin too, and the Acura logo seems to be covered in tape right in the middle of the steering wheel.
Mechanically, our spies believe that the production version of Acura's minivan might borrow the brand's V6, nine-speed automatic and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive - a similar layout to some trims of the TLX. The photographers also think that the vehicle is a little wider than the current Honda Odyssey to give occupants a bit more room. Given the more luxurious focus, the high-end model would surely carry seven people with a bit more opulence than the standard Odyssey, especially, we'd imagine, for second-row passengers. A launch for this posh hauler could be slated for the 2016 or 2017 model years.
Acura's MDX SEMA concept took the wrong parts from the NSX GT3
Thu, Oct 27 2016When it comes to SEMA show cars, the more absurd the better, such as with the 1,040-horsepower Bisimoto Hyundai Santa Fe. That's not the case with Acura's custom MDX. This crossover was designed to match the NSX GT3 racecar, and gets a custom trailer to tow it. However, instead of doing something awesome like dropping in the NSX's twin-turbo V6, Acura decided the defining characteristics of the race car were the paint, splitter, and wing. So that's what the MDX and trailer got. In addition to a matching white paint scheme with orange and black accents, the SUV wears a massive front splitter that looks like a shelf stuck close to the ground. It's the only aero modification on the vehicle, and it just looks silly, what with the massive gap between the base of the bumper and the splitter itself. There aren't any performance modifications on this SUV either, except the lowered suspension, so the only thing the splitter is likely to do is break off on the first mildly steep driveway it comes across. To complement the MDX's dubious aero aid, the custom trailer gets a "wing" at the back. Actually, it looks like Acura slapped some endplates on the back to give it a wing look. The trailer also gets running boards that extend the splitter along the side. Maybe it all works together to keep the trailering rig planted. But probably not. If Acura wants suggestions for next time, we suggest a mid-engined MDX, or perhaps one with a wild hybrid system. We'll call this a missed opportunity. Acura TLX GT racecar to make motorsports debut at Detroit Grand Prix
Mon, 31 Mar 2014Acura debuted its TLX GT racecar at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show earlier this year, and it looks like the racer is set to get its first competitive outing in Motown as well. The RealTime Racing team is competing with a single car driven by Peter Cunningham for the Pirelli World Challenge rounds during the Detroit Grand Prix from May 30 through June 1.
Honda Performance Development is developing the TLX GT with a direct-injected, twin-turbocharged V6 engine, based on the production, naturally aspirated version, and all-wheel drive helps maintain traction. A second car is being added to the effort later.
The turbocharged Acura sedan will face competition in the series from vehicles like the Audi R8 LMS, Cadillac CTS-V, Dodge Viper, Nissan GT-R, Porsche 911 and more. With the Detroit Grand Prix hosting the sixth and seventh races in the Pirelli World Challenge GT class schedule, it doesn't seem that Acura is expecting to win the series in its debut season, but it will surely gain valuable experience.
