I am selling my 2007 Acura TSX with 74xxx miles. It is a great entry- level luxury sports sedan with a 2.4 liter four cylinder VTECH engine that packs a punch yet, sips gas. I average about 20city and 29highway for fuel economy. My vehicle is loaded with the following options: Navigation, Voice recognition for NAV/RADIO/CLIMATE CONTROL/ HANDS FREE BLUETOOTH READY. Power sunroof, locks, mirrors, dual power heated front seats, leather seats, CD/AM-FM/AUX/XM Satellite radio ready, LED turn signals on mirrors, trunk release button under trunk, High- Intensity Discharge headlamps, fog lights, tiptronic transmission (manual shift ability) tires have plenty of tread left, the clear coat and paint are still like new, no rust spots or major blemishes. Customizable personal settings through nav screen such as, contacts, color scheme change, etc. I am not in a rush to sell my vehicle but I would like to quickly. Airbag recall widens to include BMW, Chrysler, Ford and Toyota
Mon, 23 Jun 2014The recall of faulty airbag inflators supplied by Takata has exploded today to grow to seven automakers. In most cases, only models in certain high-humidity regions were affected because the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found in its investigation that moisture played a roll in determining whether there would be a problem. However, some companies opted for national campaigns. The exact number of affected models for these campaigns isn't yet known at this time.
BMW is recalling an undisclosed number of 325i, 325Xi, 330i and 330Xi models from the 2001 through 2005 model years and the 2001-2006 model year versions of the 325Ci and 330Ci for the driver side and passenger side inflators. Only vehicles currently registered in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands are covered under this recall.
Neither Chrysler's filing with NHTSA nor its press release list the specific models affected, but a company spokesperson told Autoblog that at this time it only covers the driver and passenger side inflators for the 2006 Dodge Charger in Florida, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and the US Virgin Islands
MotorWeek remembers retro icons, Supra and NSX
Thu, 16 Oct 2014It's easy to poke a joke here and there about John Davis, the long-time host of MotorWeek. His voice is so monotonous that, from time to time, if you closed your eyes, you may think it's generated via a computer. But you have to give him and the rest of the show a lot of credit. The program has been on the air for decades, giving people direct, straight-down-the middle automotive reviews.
MotorWeek's massive back catalog of reviews are slowly making their way onto YouTube, and they provide a fascinating chance to look back on how performance cars rank against their contemporaries from back in the day. Two recent additions include the show's old looks at the 1986 Toyota Supra, the dawn of the third-generation model, and the now-iconic 1991 Acura NSX.
Both reviews are interesting in their own way. These days you hear nary a negative word about the original NSX, but MotorWeek isn't afraid to point out a few flaws. And the Supra really shows the progress of suspension tuning in the intervening decades because it has some serious body roll in the corners.
