Sexy Clean '08 Acura Tl (black) W/ Tech Package on 2040-cars
Washington, District Of Columbia, United States
For sale:
2008 Acura TL - Nighthawk Black w/ Tinted Windows (20%) and Tech Package The Good: Under the hood: Runs perfectly, religious 5k Synthetic Oil changes. Just had the manufacturer recommended 105k maintenance work done including, new brake pads and rotors, new timing belt, water pump, tensioners AND transmission fluid. I've had no engine problems whatsoever! Tech: Navigation, PREMIUM Audio, and Reverse Camera (so clutch I will never buy another car without it.) The Swagger: The black on black combo of the tinted windows with the nighthawk black exterior paint contributes to the aesthetic immensely. Economical: I get above the factory specified MPG @ 29 highway. The Not So Good: Exterior: I bought this vehicle with minor hail damage, it has picked up a couple dings on the bumper and a scrape on front fender. Interior: The trim has a couple small punctures (likely from previous owner's small dog). Other than a few minor problems it is very clean, and I'm having it professionally cleaned on 11/11/13. Feel Free to reach out with ANY inquiries or requests to test drive. More Pictures available here: plus.google.com/u/0/b/104642120131424305189/104642120131424305189/posts Enjoy! |

MotorWeek remembers the 1993 Acura Legend coupe
Fri, Sep 25 2015When discussing classic Acura models, the Legend, particularly as a two-door, doesn't get brought up nearly as often as the Integra or NSX. Perhaps that's because those sporty models were brash for their time, whereas this bigger car came off as a more conservative ride. For a MotorWeek Retro Review, John Davis and crew have looked back at a 1993 Legend coupe to give us a chance to remember Acura's luxury GT. In 1993, the newly revised 3.2-liter V6 managed 230 horsepower, and this one had power routed through a six-speed manual. It also came packed with luxury features, including automatic climate control and traction control. However, the Legend turned out to be more of a comfy cruiser than an all-out sports coupe for the reviewers. MotorWeek wasn't happy with the performance through the slalom, and the shifter wasn't perfect, either. Still, this clip is a great refresher on a model that's often overlooked. Related Video:
Acura introduces a sleeker self-driving test car
Wed, May 18 2016As we creep ever closer to an autonomous-car future, one thing is for certain, most of the driverless cars we see being tested look hideous thanks to all the sensors strapped to the roof. Today Acura introduced its second generation Automated Acura RLX Development Vehicle with updated sensors and a more pleasing aesthetic. Gone is the spinning LIDAR system replaced with a more compact and robust version of the light detection and ranging technology. It's also got updated RADAR, camera, GPS and higher performance GPUs and CPUs as well as what Acura is calling "more intelligent software algorithms to support more complex testing scenarios." Acura and its parent company Honda have been testing autonomous cars at its GoMentum Station in the Bay Area since last year with a specially outfitted RLX (shown in the video above with the spinning LIDAR system). This new car will replace that vehicle. This article by Roberto Baldwin originally ran on Engadget, the definitive guide to this connected life.
