This car has required minimal maintenance, all of it wear and tear. I've had no issues with the car other than a bad battery which the Acura dealer replaced.
It does have some minor damage on the passenger rear door.
Previous questions.
I don't mind. This car has been really great to me, however I really want to get back into a sports car and at the present moment I have a good opportunity for that. I bought the Type-S because it was a good compromise between a sports car and a family car. When I was looking for a car at the time, I was wanting an S2000, while also planning to start a family, so I compromised for a sedan. Forward to now, the family thing didn't really come through so I'm looking to get back into the sports car once more. This time I have me an RSX Type-S shell to match with a K24 block, K20 head with Si pistons and custom tuned with K-Pro for a start. Wanting to reach a goal of 300whp N/A. Selling the TL will rid me of a car payment and give me a little bit of extra funding to finish this RSX. I'm really ecstatic about getting on the 6-speed manual, which this TL does not have. The TL is fast for a sedan, but the RSX has more potential and is better suited for what I want to achieve from a car. There is a very small aftermarket support for the TL. I've spent a lot of time and hard work on making this TL stand out. I get compliments on it at least a few times a week.
I will miss this TL, its's a real head turner and I'm spoiled on the features it has. Whether it sells or not, either outcome will be bittersweet to me. If you plan to purchase a TL I would check out Acurazine.com, one of the BEST resources for TL owners. Hope this answered your question. Feel free to ask me anything else, I'll answer as best I can.
As far as accidents. A lady backed into me hitting the back bumper in a parking lot 3 months ago. She admitted fault and her insurance paid out. I fixed the bumper by buying the Acura A-SPEC bumper you can see in the pictures.
Any questions just email me.
I am very busy with work and various side projects but I'll try to answer as quick as possible.

Acura NSX is this year's Pikes Peak pace car
Thu, Jun 25 2015Acura's new NSX is the official pace car for this year's Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. The hybrid supercar will go running up that hill on June 28, leading a group of 140 racers up the 14,110-foot mountain. It'll be driven by Sage Marie, Honda's senior public relations manager (and friend of Autoblog), who competed in the Pikes Peak race in 2013 and 2014. To make the most of the occasion, Acura is installing 24 cameras along the course to capture the pace car's run. But this won't just be for a cool photo gallery. Acura will use the cameras to create a 360-degree video that will be posted to the company's social media channels after the NSX completes its climb. Look for that to drop sometime on the morning of the 28th. The NSX heads up Pikes Peak at 7:40 AM Mountain time (9:40 AM Eastern). We'll have plenty more information about the Pikes Peak Hill Climb throughout the coming days. For now, check out the NSX pace car in the image gallery above, read Acura's official press blast below, and be sure to scroll through the amazing photo galleries from the practice sessions (Day 1 and Day 2) shot by our own Drew Phillips. (June 25, 2015) – The next-generation Acura NSX supercar will serve as the official pace car in the 93rd running of the Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 28. With a custom racing-inspired livery, the twin-turbo charged NSX pace car will lead the field of 140 entrants to the top of the 14,110-foot Colorado mountain. "The Acura NSX is the ultimate performance vehicle, and a novel way to promote its capabilities is the iconic race up Pikes Peak," said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president and general manager of the Acura Division. "As the pace car, the beast that is NSX has yet to be fully let out of its cage, but fans and drivers will get a first glimpse of the unique character, performance and handling it will deliver in this one-of-a-kind racing environment." Powering the NSX through the 12.4-mile, 156-turn course is a bespoke 75-degree twin-turbo V6 engine mated to a 9-speed dual clutch transmission and three motor Sport Hybrid Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system, which delivers 'on the rails' cornering capability essential to conquering the demanding mountain course.
Acura TLX GT Racecar bringing the 'X factor' to Pirelli World Challenge
Tue, 14 Jan 2014One doesn't normally think of Acura offering anything to mix it up with the SRT Viper, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Nissan GT-R, Audi R8 and Ferrari 458 Italia (at least while the NSX is still off in the ether), but that's exactly what's about to happen. Honda's premium outpost is jumping into the top tier of the Pirelli World Challenge with this 2015 TLX GT.
The surprise reveal of this racecar at today's Detroit Auto Show will be campaigned by RealTime Racing, no stranger to racing Acuras, in the GT class (previously, the team had campaigned the series a rung down in GT-S).
The racecar is powered by a twin-turbo variant of the direct-injected V6 to be found in the production TLX sedan, right along with its Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system. There's no word on how much power this HPD-massaged engine will put out in race trim, but we won't have to wait long to hear it fire up - the car is set to take to the track with team owner Peter Cunningham at the wheel in the next few weeks.
Honda debuts NSX Concept-GT hybrid racer
Fri, 16 Aug 2013Not to be outdone by Lexus and its new LF-CC racecar, Honda is also bringing a little more excitement to the Japanese Super GT racing series with its NSX Concept-GT. Yes, just like the original NSX, this racecar will wear the Honda badge in its home market when it replaces the current offering in that series, the non-production HSV-010 GT, which itself replaced the NSX in the series back in 2010.
Looking exactly how we'd imagine a race-prepped 2015 Acura NSX to look, this racer is mean and sexy at the same time, and it will be powered by a racing hybrid system with a turbocharged four-cylinder mounted behind the driver. No word on power output, but it will compete in the GT500 class, which restricts power output to 500 horsepower. Unlike the Lexus racecar, the Honda NSX Concept-GT will being competing this season starting with this weekend's race at the Suzuka Circuit before running the full 10-race 2014 season. Scroll down for the short press release.
