2007 Acura TL Type-S Sedan 4-Door V6 3.5 Liter VTEC Automatic FWD On January 11, 2014 I ordered an AutoCheck score... and this car has received a 93! I can provide the paperwork with this score if you are interested in the vehicle. This car was purchased from Acura of Manhattan in 2009 with 21,088 miles. This car has had only two owners; I am the second owner of the car. The car has some wear and tear just from usage; however, it has all original parts and it is in excellent condition (please look at photos for further details). This Acura has received maintenance eery 3-months or 3000 miles for the entirety of its life. Any mechanic will tell you that its in great shape! The car will receive a cleaning, wax, and buff upon sale, as well as a routine maintenance. The car has a clean title, and an existing warranty with Acura of Manhattan. It's unfortunate that I have to sell my car --- it's my baby! I need the extra money to pay for rent in New York City. MotorWeek remembers the 1993 Acura Legend coupe
Fri, Sep 25 2015When discussing classic Acura models, the Legend, particularly as a two-door, doesn't get brought up nearly as often as the Integra or NSX. Perhaps that's because those sporty models were brash for their time, whereas this bigger car came off as a more conservative ride. For a MotorWeek Retro Review, John Davis and crew have looked back at a 1993 Legend coupe to give us a chance to remember Acura's luxury GT. In 1993, the newly revised 3.2-liter V6 managed 230 horsepower, and this one had power routed through a six-speed manual. It also came packed with luxury features, including automatic climate control and traction control. However, the Legend turned out to be more of a comfy cruiser than an all-out sports coupe for the reviewers. MotorWeek wasn't happy with the performance through the slalom, and the shifter wasn't perfect, either. Still, this clip is a great refresher on a model that's often overlooked. Related Video:
Acura RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD set for LA debut
Fri, 01 Nov 2013Acura has announced that it will be showing the production version of the RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show. You'll recall that the standard 3.5-liter V6-powered RLX has been on sale for some time, and that our review of Acura's flagship sedan was mixed. On paper, at least, the RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD should fare better.
Sporting a similar hybrid powertrain to the one expected to motivate the NSX supercar, the RLX uses a 3.5-liter V6 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a trio of electric motors to generate 377 horsepower, net a combined fuel economy of 30 miles per gallon and offer the security and performance of torque-vectoring all-wheel drive.

Good Samaritans lift car off of hit-and-run victim
Tue, Sep 8 2015Strangers came to an elderly man's rescue in the Bronx over the weekend after he was dragged under a car by a hit-and-run driver. The 68-year-old man was hit by a red 1997 Acura Integra while crossing a street in a crosswalk on Saturday. Witnesses told CBS 2 the driver didn't stop after striking the man, but dragged him for a quarter mile before parking the car and fleeing on foot. People in the neighborhood who saw the crash ran to help the man as he lay injured underneath the car. It took seven bystanders to free the injured man. Some witnesses chased after the driver, but he managed to escape. Police did not identify the victim. They told the station that he is in critical, yet stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center. The driver who hit him has not been identified. This crash comes less than a week after another driver in the Bronx was caught on surveillance cameras backing into a 51-year-old woman and then driving away.
