2006 Acura Tl Salvage Rebuilt Black Leather Gps Tinted Windows Extremely Nice on 2040-cars
Paducah, Kentucky, United States
This is a super nice Acura TL that I have owned for a little less than 5 years. It has black leather interior, tinted windows, aluminum wheels, and GPS. I bought this car with 24,000 miles on it. I had to replace the motor in it as this is why it was a salvage car. It has been a great car every since. I have it detailed every 6 months and maintained by a mechanic. I had the timing belt changed early last year (routine) and had the water pump changed at the same time while they were in there. I cannot afford to break down as iI travel about 50 % of the time for work. I drive anywhere from 2000-4000 miles a month in this car. The transmission was slipping last fall so I had a new transmission put in w/100,000 mile warr. I travel for long distances in this car and it is comfortable and would not hesitate to take it across the country. The interior is perfect as I am one of the only ones that sit in the car. It has no rips in the leather and has brand new floor mats. (I still have the old ones if you want to see pictures as I own another TL type S) It also has a new battery. The reason I am getting rid of this car is because I bought another TL which was a type S (I have always wanted one) I was out of town for work last year and my car was hit in the parking lot of the hotel where I was staying. It scraped down the whole side of the car. It was a hit and run. The insurance company paid to have half of the car painted and I paid the difference to have the whole car painted. This car is very nice and looks very good. This car will not disappoint. The book value on this car with a clean title is around 11K. Don't pass this car up as it is a great car! Email with any questions. |

Honda reports $1.9 billion profit in first quarter despite sales lag at home
Wed, 31 Jul 2013Ford, General Motors and Chrysler have been living in a world of sunshine and buttercups after their April-through-June financials hit the newswire, and Toyota is doing pretty good as well. Honda? Not so much.
While Japan's third-largest manufacturer saw $1.9 billion in profits, the 5.1-percent jump was lower than expected thanks to a drop in its home-market sales. US sales also took a sting, as Honda hasn't been able to match the SUV and truck demand that are currently permeating the American market, despite an uptick in Accord sales.
Honda's initial forecasts targeted a take of 209.3 billion yen ($2.1 billion at today's rates), and while a $200 million shortfall is nothing to sniff at, we'd hardly take this as Honda being in trouble. And even with the dip, Honda hasn't adjusted its forecast for the fiscal year, which remains at 780 billion yen ($7.9 billion).
Hondata's 2019 Acura RDX tune brings the mid-range torque
Tue, Feb 12 2019One of the big advantages to the era of turbo Hondas is that there's plenty of horsepower and torque left on the table for tuners to take advantage of. One of those companies is Hondata, and following its upgrades for the Civic and Accord, it's now tuning the Acura RDX luxury crossover. The RDX uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine similar to those in the Accord and the Civic Type R. In stock form, it makes 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. With Hondata's Stage 1 tune, the company says that horsepower increases by about 10 across the rev band. Looking at the dyno graph, it also appears that peak horsepower increases by about 5 horsepower, and peak torque is up by about 15 pound-feet. Peak torque also appears to arrive sooner, and most of the torque curve seems to be up by 10 to 15 pound-feet. The increases in power and torque are available in all four of the RDX's drive modes. The Stage 2 tune increases power torque even more in Sport and Sport+ modes, and keeps Snow and Comfort modes at Stage 1 settings. Peak horsepower looks to be up about 10 over stock, but the mid-range sees as much as a 28-hp increase. Peak torque sees a huge jump of about 45 lb-ft over stock based on the dyno chart, and it's available even lower than the Stage 1's peak torque. If this all sounds good to you, you can order up a Hondata FlashPro computer for your RDX right now. It costs $695 and comes with the handheld computer for uploading or removing tunes. RDX owners in California should note that neither tune is currently CARB legal. Related Video:
