Odenton, Maryland, United States
2006 Acura TL Pearl white exterior and black leather interior. Minor pain chips in the front bumper. Passenger inner door panel slightly skewed ( Picture ). Leather is great condition, not rips. Navigation, 6 disc CD, Tape player, DVD player. XM Radio. Blue tooth. Everything is great working condition. I was rear ended a year ago. Only cosmetic bumper damage. You cant even tell. Looks like nothing ever happened. Bought the car two years ago with 80k miles. Now has 108k. All new miles are highway miles. Have only replaced spark plugs, tires, and brakes a little less then a year ago. No records available. Never any problems. Everything is great working condition. I love the car and am not pressed to sell it, but would like to get something smaller. Maybe a four cylinder. Intermittant check engin light just started. Cat Converter sensor needs replacment. Will pass MD inspection no problem. Daily driver but I need something smaller because I drive so much. I owe 8700 on it and need that amount. Please do not ask if I will take less or neg price. Serior bidders only. Please ask questions prior to bidding. I do not have car fax, but the vin is provided so you can request them if you like. Inbox me if you would like to set a test drive and see for yourself. Will not send additional pictures. You must see it for yourself. I am willing to drive and meet you if needed. |

Did Acura just confirm it's working on an Integra successor?
Fri, 07 Nov 2014The Acura Integra (pictured above in Type R trim) was one of the definitive vehicles of the Acura brand in the US, having joined the Legend at the marque's birth here. However, since the retirement of the RSX, the luxury arm of Honda has lacked a compact, sporty coupe to fill that niche. There appears to be a chance of that absence possibly coming to an end in the coming years, though.
Acura lead designer Dave Marek spoke to Car and Driver during the SEMA Show and said, "A performance brand needs a flagship and it needs an accessible sport car. Not a sports car, but a sport car." However, he also suggested that a new model wouldn't be spinning its tires too soon, at least not before 2017 by his indication.
While the vague possibility of a new sports coupe is still years away, Acura is taking its early steps in a brand revitalization campaign that includes spinning the luxury arm further away from Honda. The strong initial sales of the TLX are certainly a good start, but the work appears to just be beginning, according to Marek. "There are changes coming, and then there are more changes coming," he said to Car and Driver.
2016 Acura NSX grows into its updated styling for the 2015 Detroit Auto Show [w/videos]
Tue, Jan 13 2015It's not immediately clear at first glance, but the Acura NSX as it appears on the floor at the 2015 Detroit Auto Show is a far cry from the concept from the 2013 show. These days, the NSX packs a twin-turbo, longitudinally mounted V6 with over 550 horsepower on tap and nine-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Although, the three-motor hybrid setup remains with two units at the front and one for the rear axle. The numerous slashes and scoops make the design look much more aggressive than the earlier concept, but the changes go much deeper than the new skin. There's an inch of extra width and 3.1-inches more overall, including 0.8-inches extra length in the wheelbase. Underneath it all, is a carbon fiber floor and aluminum-intensive chassis to provide strength to harness all of its power. Unfortunately, Acura isn't specifically announcing engine output, the weight or the design's drag coefficienct yet, so there are still questions to answer. However production starts in fall 2015 with the order books opening in the summer. Pricing is among the factors that the Japanese brand isn't discussing, but it likely costs about $150,000 to park the company's latest supercar in your driveway. In the meantime, enjoy admiring this upcoming entry in the hybrid supercar market. Related Video:
Acura recalling 43k MDX and RLX models over seatbelt issue
Tue, 14 Oct 2014If you've ever lived in a wintery climate, you may have noticed something strange: no, not the perilously enticing sparkle of cold metal in the sunlight or the way your warm breath suddenly becomes visible in the frigid air, but the way your seatbelt seems increasingly reluctant to retract as the temperature drops. Acura, however, has found the problem more serious than a minor inconvenience, and is recalling some 43,000 vehicles across the United States to address the issue.
The recall in question affects about 7,000 RLX sedans (from the 2014 model year) and another 36,000 MDX crossovers (covering the 2014 and 2015 model years) to have their front seatbelts replaced. In the affected vehicles and in very low temperatures, Acura has found that "the driver's and front passenger's seatbelts may not release from the retracted position." Needless to say, seatbelts that can't be used don't offer any protection in the event of an accident, so the Japanese automaker is notifying owners and dealers to hook up to have those seatbelts replaced.
