First and foremost, I'm selling this car for a friend who moved to Australia and isn't able to sell it for herself. She isnt an American citizen and left with intentions to return. That didnt happen and now she's asked me to sell her car. I have a clear and free title already signed by her, it just needs a new owner to sign and drive. This may seem fishy or like a scam, but this is the the situation and will not change. If this scares you or you plan to bid, then get cold feet, do not bid.
Onto the car, its a 2003 Acura 3.2L TL, automatic transmission with ~118k miles. Car is in great shape inside and out. Exterior is nearly scratch and dent free. No rust whatsoever. Interior is nearly as flawless. Overall I would say the car is in well above average condition. Factory options include: leather seats, power seats, heated seats, power sunroof, Bose system with 6 disk in dash CD player, HID headlights, and all the other options you'd expect. There was a small fender bender along the way to the drivers front, but the repair was top notch. I'm a car guy myself (drive a BMW e92 M3) and I could hardly tell. Paint matches perfectly and all the body lines align as they should. This would make a great daily driver or safe reliable first car. Please ask questions before bidding. |

Snapshots from Acura NSX prototype run at Mid-Ohio
Mon, 05 Aug 2013Acura's achingly slow showing of the new, hybrid NSX saw yet another step yesterday, as we reported late last week. A powder-blue prototype ran ahead of the open-wheelers at the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Why show the NSX Prototype at Mid-Ohio? Honda's Ohio research and development center, which has taken the lead on NSX development, is just 60 miles from the track. And as race sponsor, Honda must have figured it would give the spectators a glimpse of the new supercar it's been teasing for the better part of a decade.
With a planned launch in 2015 (special emphasis on the "planned" part, considering the NSX's history), the NSX Prototype shown here sports graphics that "speak to Acura's intention to go racing with the new NSX." That's great news for fans of endurance racing, although it remains to be seen when a motorsports program for the new NSX will get off the ground.

Good Samaritans lift car off of hit-and-run victim
Tue, Sep 8 2015Strangers came to an elderly man's rescue in the Bronx over the weekend after he was dragged under a car by a hit-and-run driver. The 68-year-old man was hit by a red 1997 Acura Integra while crossing a street in a crosswalk on Saturday. Witnesses told CBS 2 the driver didn't stop after striking the man, but dragged him for a quarter mile before parking the car and fleeing on foot. People in the neighborhood who saw the crash ran to help the man as he lay injured underneath the car. It took seven bystanders to free the injured man. Some witnesses chased after the driver, but he managed to escape. Police did not identify the victim. They told the station that he is in critical, yet stable condition at Jacobi Medical Center. The driver who hit him has not been identified. This crash comes less than a week after another driver in the Bronx was caught on surveillance cameras backing into a 51-year-old woman and then driving away. Acura NSX Concept is pretty on the inside, too [w/video]
Tue, 15 Jan 2013The Acura NSX is still a couple years away from production (isn't it always?), but Acura has taken the dark window tint off last year's concept and opened the doors to show us what the interior of the car looks like. From what we can tell on the show-floor display, Acura's hybrid supercar will not only have a sexy exterior design, it will look great from the inside as well, but Acura pointed out that this is just "one possible direction" the interior could go. We suppose that means we can look forward to many more NSX concepts - you won't hear any complaints from us.
Building on Acura's latest tagline of "the synergy between man and machine," the NSX promises to provide a "human connected space" offering a simplified layout presumably chocked full of technology. Looking inside the concept reveals a cabin wrapped in maroon leather with sport bucket seats that will certainly provide plenty of support. We're sure there will be more information about the car and its interior at upcoming auto shows, but until then, scroll down for Acura's press release.
