2 owner vehicle; originally Honda corporate vehicle, sold as Acura Certified to us at 7K miles. My wife used it as her daily driver and parked it in the garage nightly. Approximately 30-40K miles are highway miles. Seats 7 comfortably, no rips, no tears; heated leather seats in front. Always well maintained, super safe, super reliable.
Setup to be our road trip vehicle, it has dual DVD video headrests by Vizualogic -- each kid can watch their own video. Wireless headphones and remotes. iPod / iPhone port for listening and charging. AUX adapter and video switch so you can watch videos on the front Nav screen and pipe the audio through the sound system. Still have all the original headrests. Also included are a cargo cover, grocery net, dog/pet gate, ski rack, and tow hitch. Navigation DVD was updated recently and it has the OEM tow package. Factory rear backup camera. New Michelin tires last year, recent battery, recent brake job, always kept in top operating condition for my family's safety. XM and OnStar if you activate the services. Acura RLX pricing and launch plan detailed
Tue, 15 Jan 2013Acura has released pricing for its upcoming flagship, the RLX, at the Detroit Auto Show this week. Powered by an all-new direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 rated at 310 horsepower, the front-wheel-drive sedan replaces the outgoing RL model (2011's worst-selling car of the year) as the automaker's new flagship.
In addition to boasting the most spacious passenger cabin in its mid-luxury class, the new range-topping Acura features the automaker's first-ever application of Precision All-Wheel Steer and Jewel Eye LED headlamps. Standard equipment includes Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Warning, with Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow, and Blind Spot Information (BSI) system trim and option specific.
The four-door will initially be sold in five grades (prices exclude a destination charge of $895):
Watch an Acura NSX prototype lap the track at Mid-Ohio
Sun, 04 Aug 2013As promised, Acura trotted its NSX prototype out to the mass of waiting fans ahead of today's Honda Indy 200 IndyCar race at Mid-Ohio. The hybrid supercar took to the track for a fast lap, and Acura was kind enough to attach a score of cameras to the car in order to share the event with the rest of the world.
The blue-wrapped NSX looks pretty darn good on a race track, if we do say so ourselves, and its V6 engine, coupled with its three electric motors and lithium-ion battery pack, sounds awfully sweet at full song. The automaker is promising to release its new NSX in 2015, which is still quite a ways away, so we don't expect this exhibition lap to be the last time we see a prototype in action ahead of a production debut.

Acura may go all AWD in bid to mimic Subaru's success

The Honda-owned luxury brand doesn't seem sure of where it's going or what it's trying to accomplish, with its cars and marketing lacking a coherent theme. Now, a new report from Automotive News claims that the brand could follow the success of Subaru and (to a lesser extent) Audi, and adopt all-wheel-drive as standard across its model range.
"I think that's the way we should go," Acura boss Koichi Fukuo told Automotive News.
Acura already offers some form of all-wheel drive on every vehicle in its line aside from the lamentable ILX sedan. That could change as Acura begins rolling out next-generation versions of its still relatively new stable of sedans and crossovers.
