Acura Legend Coupe. Runs and drives great. Engine starts immediately, runs and idles smooth and quiet. Transmission shifts smooth and acceleration is crisp. Very reliable and stylish. Goes down the road straight and stops great. Low miles on this one, and you can tell. Timing belt, water pump and radiator done at 80k. Never wrecked or repaired. Drilled and slotted front brake rotors. Newer battery. Gold emblems. The power antenna stays extended and the factory bose cd changer is not working, also one of the speakers makes a staticy noise with the bass setting too high. There are a few tears in the front seats as pictured. There are a few tiny scratches and door dings as pictured. There are some paint chips on the top of the spoiler. Other than that everything works. Car looks great and is clean too. Clean washington state title. Has master key, valet key and factory Acura keyless entry. Feel free to ask any questions. 2017 Acura NSX | 573 horsepower for lunch
Fri, Aug 18 2017Our Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is in California for Monterey Car Week and the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance, rubbing elbows with beautiful people and their far-more-beautiful cars. Greg took a 2017 Acura NSX down the Monterey Peninsula to grab lunch yesterday and posted live video on Facebook. We thought we'd share it here. We've driven the modern NSX before, of course, and it's terrific. For greater detail, check out our review from 2015. The video is in two parts, as Greg lost service at one point. Ah, technology. Acura claims MDX is best-selling luxury 3-row ever
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Business for Acura has been in a weird place, recently, and the company's latest car launches have been especially rocky. For example, the ILX Hybrid was recently discontinued after just two model years with only about 2,660 sold in that time. The company also delayed the launch of its new TLX by a few months until later this summer. However, despite its issues with sedans, the automaker's utility-vehicle business in absolutely booming. In fact, it now claims that the MDX is the best-selling three-row, luxury SUV, ever.
The MDX is already leading its class this year with 30,664 units sold through June 2014, up 68.4 percent compared 2013. Also, in five of the last six months of reported sales, Acura has posted gains. It appears that the company's utility lineup is really pushing it along.
To take the bestseller ever crown, Acura claims that through its three generations, the MDX has sold a cumulative 692,710 units. The premium model has also been at the top of the annual sales rankings for three-row luxury crossovers every year since 2002. The company believes that its nearest competitor is the Lincoln Navigator with an estimated 420,000 lifetime sales, and even arguably more comparable vehicles like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz M-Class only have 350,000 or fewer sales under their belts. Of course, it probably doesn't hurt that the MDX has one of the lower starting prices in its class.
Honda and Acura render their future visions for Shanghai
Mon, 08 Apr 2013With the Shanghai Motor Show coming up later this month, Honda has released a couple of teaser sketches for two concept vehicles that will be making global debuts. Aside from the renderings, there is no information about either the Honda or Acura concept vehicles, but we can tell that both are some sort of utility vehicle, be they of crossover or people-mover variety.
The text for both images indicates that both concepts show future products that will be launched in China, but there is no mention as to what other markets the automaker has planned for these vehicles. In addition to these two concepts, the NSX Concept and 2014 RLX from Acura will make their Chinese debuts, and Honda says it "will display models substantially identical to the mass-production version of the Concept C and Concept S." The Concept C is will be a "middle-class" sedan built for China, and the Concept S, an MPV that will primarily serve China as well.
