Moving out of the city so parting ways with my extra car. For sale is a 1994 Acura Legend, Skyline conversion custom car. This is the RARE, 6 speed Legend sedan with TYPE II engine. It has 180k original miles, mostly highway. Clean blue title. Engine replace June 2011. The Main seal and clutch was just replace in November 2012 and has a 1 year warranty on parts and labor. I will provide that info to the new owner. There are only a handful of things that are bad, one is that it needs a new speed sensor, Only the speed gauge has an issue. This does NOT affect the operation of the car whatsoever. The car drives 100% mechanically and shifts smoothly. All others gauges works 100%. The speed gauge works as well, it just has a mind of its own when it wants to function. Two, I backed into a pole reversing at night, there's a minor bump on the rear driver side and left tail light is slightly nicked on the corner. Last, there are two tears, driver side and one in the rear by rear arm rest. Paint is about 7 out 10 scale, 10 being the best. Body i would give it a 8. Mechanically ill give it a 9. NO oil leak. New seal, belts and clutch guaranteed.
The Legend has a Pioneer head unit that has a flash drive option. It was bought 2 years ago. The sub, amps and TV has already been remove. Only car audio still attached are the door speakers and head unit. 19" Zenneti black rims with chrome lips. Tires has 70% thread. Pictures on Cardomain.com are pictures several years ago.

Snapshots from Acura NSX prototype run at Mid-Ohio
Mon, 05 Aug 2013Acura's achingly slow showing of the new, hybrid NSX saw yet another step yesterday, as we reported late last week. A powder-blue prototype ran ahead of the open-wheelers at the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Why show the NSX Prototype at Mid-Ohio? Honda's Ohio research and development center, which has taken the lead on NSX development, is just 60 miles from the track. And as race sponsor, Honda must have figured it would give the spectators a glimpse of the new supercar it's been teasing for the better part of a decade.
With a planned launch in 2015 (special emphasis on the "planned" part, considering the NSX's history), the NSX Prototype shown here sports graphics that "speak to Acura's intention to go racing with the new NSX." That's great news for fans of endurance racing, although it remains to be seen when a motorsports program for the new NSX will get off the ground.
Take a look at the fresh gallery of images, and be sure to head over to our original Mid-Ohio post for the video footage of the NSX Prototype on track.
Honda signs on as Pikes Peak sponsor, race participant
Sat, 27 Apr 2013Honda plans to storm the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 30, entering ten cars in nine classes at the race to the sky, and signing on as a corporate sponsor. Part of the company's return to grassroots racing - if that's what you can call factory-backed efforts - the banners of Honda R&D and Honda North America will fly on these entries: a first-gen Acura NSX, an Acura TL SH-AWD, Honda CR-Z, Honda Fit EV, one CRF450R and two CRF250R motorcycles, a CBR1000RR motorcycle and a TRX450 ATV.
One more entry, details of which are to be announced later, will be driven by IndyCar pilot Simon Pagenaud of Schmidt Hamilton HP Motorsports. LoveFab (pictured above during practice last year) will be there with its new, NSX-based Enviate, but as a privateer entry.
Honda's been to the mountain before, with high-powered gear in 2012 and record-setting EVs in 1994 and 1999, but it's never made noise like this. Have a read of the press release below for more info.
Acura recalls 2013-2014 ILX, ILX Hybrid over fire-prone headlamps
Wed, 09 Jul 2014The Acura ILX just can't seem to catch a break. The Japanese automaker recently decided that the ILX Hybrid would no longer be offered in the US for the 2015 model year. Now, a possibility for fires has also cropped up in the compact luxury sedan. Acura has announced a recall of 14,078 examples from the 2013 and 2014 model years because the headlights could overheat and ignite the car. The company also issued a stop-sale for examples still at dealers until they can be repaired.
The campaign covers ILX and ILX Hybrid models with halogen projector headlights from specific build dates. The problem is that the headlights aren't cooled sufficiently when the cars aren't moving. After several hours of sitting with them on, it's possible for the lights to build up so much heat that they melt and potentially cause a fire.
To Acura's knowledge, there was only one case of an ILX actually catching fire due to this problem, though. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration defect notice, a car was idling at a dealer for about two hours when the model went up in flames. The automaker brought the vehicle in for a detailed investigation to find what caused the blaze.
