2001 Acura Integra Type R Hatchback 3-door 1.8l on 2040-cars
Greenville, Ohio, United States
Up for auction is my 2001 Acura Integra Type R. This is a genuine Type R, badge number 01-1112. It has the original B18C5 engine and LSD transmission. This car has never been in an accident and has never been stolen. I am the third owner. I purchased the car almost completely stock from a Subaru dealer in Missouri where it was a trade in on a brand new Subaru. It had a set of aftermarket wheels and coilovers on it. Everything else was done since I've taken ownership. Below is a list of modifications done to the car.
1. JDM Type R front end with OEM HID's -installed and professionally painted 2 months ago by a reputable shop called Reflections Body Shop here in Greenville, Ohio. 2. Genuine OEM Optional side skirts and rear bumper valences. -Professionally painted by the same body shop as above. 3. Cusco full body coilovers 4. Genuine Toda header 5. T1R cat back exhaust 6. AEM cold air intake 7. Skunk 2 valve cover washers 8. Skunk 2 fender washers 9. Genuine Spoon Sports oil cap 10. Genuine Spoon Sports radiator cap 11. JDM Type R Recaro seats in great condition 12. JDM Type R steering wheel, recently refinished 13. Brand new OEM front and rear Honda emblems 14. JDM Type R 16" wheels 15. Ichiba 15mm wheel spacers all around 16. Stoptech slotted rotors all around (just installed) 17. EBC Redstuff brake pads (just installed) 18. Brand new Genuine OEM Honda windshield. (Only 2 months old) 19. Genuine EDM taillights 20. Polk speakers and aftermarket CD player This Type R is in amazing condition with only 108k original miles. There is absolutely no rust on the body. No major dings or scratches. I also have the original body panels (hood, fenders, bumper, core support with vin tags. The interior is in amazing shape as well. The drivers seat isn't too worn like most of the JDM Recaro seats that you might see on here. The passenger seat is nearly flawless. No stains, tears, rips, burn marks etc... Mechanically the car is in very good shape as well. No leaks, grinds, unusual noises from the engine or transmission. This car has always been garage kept and driven on only very nice days. Never driven during the winter. The A/C works great! All electronics work as they should. This car is nearly flawless. I do have the clean and clear Ohio title in hand. I can be reached at 937-670-2698 or you can use eBay messaging. The reserve price is set at $14000 and I will NOT take less than that. |

2014 Acura MDX goes for a camouflaged cruise
Tue, 16 Oct 2012While the often misunderstood (and infrequently purchased) Acura ZDX may be going the way of the dinosaur, the company's far more conventional and successful MDX SUV is evolving. In fact, the 2014 MDX seems to be coming along rather nicely, if this latest set of spy images is any indication.
In the camouflaged prototype we see here, it is evident that Acura designers are going for a beefier look for the MDX front end. The current car's pointed and beaked nose are nowhere in evidence on this tester, though some version of Acura's prominent shield grille does seem to remain.
It's a bit difficult to tell if the shape of the glasshouse is much revised on this new car, as the camo is applied in such a fashion as to obscure the post C-pillar design. But it does seem as though, when we look hard at the full-profile shots of the MDX, that the wheel-arch bulges and side character lines of the current vehicle have been replaced with much simpler surfacing.
2017 Acura NSX production launches in April
Fri, Mar 18 2016After a decade of waiting and a few false starts, the new Acura NSX will finally start rolling out of its Marysville, OH, factory in late April. Customer deliveries won't be too far behind. We can't wait to hear whether buyers find the supercar as fast and comfortable as we did during the First Drive. Trial production is already underway at the NSX's bespoke factory called the Performance Manufacturing Center. The plant is specifically for production of low-volume vehicles with cutting-edge tech. The site employs 100 people to construct, paint, and check the quality of the new supercar, and they need 14 hours to build each one. Robots take care of some of the more intricate tasks like MIG welding the space frame. View 6 Photos It also takes workers six hours to build each NSX's 3.5-liter V6 by hand at the nearby engine plant in Anna, OH. They machine balance every one and run the powerplant through a 150-mile break-in procedure. While the supercar isn't at dealers yet, you can already build your own 2017 NSX online. Prices start at $157,800 (after $1,800 for destination), but the first examples only come with carbon-ceramic brakes, which add at least $9,900 to the price. When Autoblog editors optioned them out, the cheapest we managed was $172,700. Acura NSX production car headed for Detroit debut?
Tue, 23 Oct 2012Auto Express is reporting that Honda is set to unveil the production version of its upcoming Acura NSX at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. The news comes courtesy of an unnamed "top exec" for Honda Brazil speaking at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. The concept version of the Japanese supercar is currently on display there. Interestingly enough, the same unnamed source claims the production iteration will remain aesthetically identical to the show car. You won't hear any qualms from us on that front.
Of course, the timing of the production debut is a little confusing. For starters, when Acura unveiled the concept last year, the company told the world it would be at least three years before production began. That would give the street-worthy model a 2014 or 2015 designation, the latter being cited more often in media accounts. Thus, we'll keep an eye out for the hybrid supercar in Motown, but we're going to stop short of holding our breath... it might be a while.
