1996 Acura Integra Ls Sedan 4-door 1.8l on 2040-cars
Davidsonville, Maryland, United States
You are bidding on a1996 Acura Integra LS. This is a great running vehicle with only 152k miles. The engine is very peppy with extremely good gas
mileage as you would expect in the mid-30’s. The transmission shifts
100% through all gears. A/C blows cold. Power windows function
properly. The paint is in excellent shape. There are very few dents or dings (2 small ones on hood - pictured) as you might expect for a car of this year. The
interior is in great condition with very little signs of wear. The
seats and carpet are in great shape. Tires have about 80% tread
left. Brakes and rotors are also in very good shape. Issues to address: The driver's window does not function - needs a new switch. Also, rear passenger side door will not open. Mechanically, the car is in good condition. This vehicle
is being offered for sale “AS-IS” because of year and miles. If you
are new to Ebay or if you have fewer than 4 transactions, please contact me
prior to bidding for approval to bid or I will cancel your bid
immediately. There is a $125 documentation fee in addition to the
final selling price. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required via Paypal
within 48 hours of auction close. Transaction must be completed within 7
days of auction end (full payment and pick-up arrangements at least). I
have done my best to describe the vehicle as accurately as
possible. Once purchased, this car can be driven anywhere in the
country without issue. Contact me via email with any
questions. Please bid with confidence and good luck. |

2014 Acura RLX Sport Hybrid [w/video]
Wed, 18 Dec 2013Having already driven and reviewed the 2014 Acura RLX this year, colleagues Steven Ewing and Jeffrey Ross poured several thousand words into apprising it, then someone took the safety off the Comments and flipped them to "Fully Automatic" because those two reviews and four brief posts were hit by more than 1,200 of your deeply felt sentiments.
People care about Acura.
Roughly half of those comments were in reply to news of this car, the 2014 RLX Sport Hybrid SH-AWD, a sedan that intends to show that Acura cares, too. Underneath a skin almost imperceptibly different from the standard RLX, the one that has given us P-AWS (Precision All-Wheel Steer), is a Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system that replaces the mechanical components it relies on in the TL and MDX with computerized sophistication and three electric motors. Top that off with more power, and the aim is to provide a machine that does a better job of getting Acura a starting spot in the premium luxury game than the erstwhile and now all-but-forgotten RL that the RLX replaces.
2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo has the biggest price discount in America
Thu, Apr 9 2020Right now, buyers of the 2020 Lamborghini Huracan Evo are paying an average of $248,000 to drive the brand-new supercar off the dealer lot. That's a hefty chunk of change, but it represents $16,269 off the car's average $264,969 retail price, according to data provided to Autoblog by Truecar. That's the largest discount in America on a new vehicle for the month of April, 2020 when judged by the dollar amount in savings off the sticker. It's not all that uncommon to see a lot of money taken off the sticker price of expensive luxury cars. This month, right behind the Lamborghini sits the 2019 BMW 8 Series with a few bucks shy of $11,000 in savings, which is hardly surprising. Though it's a very sleek and entertaining car in some of its various incarnations, it hasn't exactly proven to be a hot seller for the German automaker. The fact that there are a total of 15 (!) possible configurations probably doesn't help. Two other BMWs, the 2020 7 Series ($10,164 in savings) and the 2019 i8 ($10,145) are also on the top 10 biggest discounts list. In between that BMW sandwich are the 2019 and 2020 editions of the Acura NSX. It doesn't really matter which one a buyer chooses to drive off the lot, either way lopping off more than $10,000 off the sticker price means the electrified supercar will cost just under $150k. Reliving the Acura NSX debut, 25 years later
Sat, 03 May 2014The Acura NSX might be one of the most important Japanese cars ever created. The Land of the Rising Sun had already established that it could make very competent performance vehicles when the NSX debuted in 1989, but Honda's two-seater was the first one that looked to the world like a true contender against Ferrari and Porsche, thanks to its cutting-edge technology. The Acura had an all-aluminum monocoque chassis, a beautifully low-slung body and a quick-revving V6 with an 8,000-rpm redline. This quintessential Japanese sports coupe celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and Autoweek recognizes it in a fantastic piece chronicling the model's US launch.
The story begins in February 1989 at the Chicago Motor Show where the car debuted. The day before the show opened, the concept still didn't have a name. The Japanese development team referred to it as New Sports, and the American Acura executives decided to add eXperimental to the end. The moniker NSX just stuck afterwards.
The article paints a fantastic portrait of the car and the company at the time. Honda had something to prove with the NSX. To succeed, the coupe had to be the best, and when the American press finally got a hold of it, they drowned it in accolades. Of course, Acura has a new American-built NSX on the way, and it has colossal legacy to live up to. This piece is definitely worth reading to understand why.
