I love this car!! But I am moving, so it must go. Engine and trans work amazing - smooth, powerful and very very fast. The turbo makes it effortless to pass slower traffic at will. Dealer maintained. New trans and radiator installed in October 2012. I get a solid 28mpg on the highway. Really comfortable cruiser. Great seats. Holds an enormous amount of cargo with the seats up or down. BRAND NEW tires. Has the optional 17" wheels. Also has the optional rear spoiler and roof racks. Cold weather package, which includes heated seats and headlight washers. I will never buy a car without heated seats again....
Of course it's a used car, with typical but very minor issues. Some slight peeling of paint in a couple of spots, very minor dings and such. Cruise control is intermittent (makes a message on the dash that you can clear, plus the check engine light. Needs a $100 part to fix, and can be done by yourself). Passes inspection with ease! It's just a great ride!

Next Polestar Volvo sounds great, whatever it is

While we'll be recovering from next week's LA Auto Show and Tokyo Motor Show (and starting to slack off ahead of an extended Thanksgiving weekend), the official tuner of Volvo products has announced plans to unveil its latest creation in less than two weeks.
Based on this video teaser, we can only imagine (and hope) that it's the souped-up Volvo V60 recently caught testing by our spy shooters. The idea of a high-performance Volvo wagon was already enough to get us giddy last month, but the exhaust note in this video is downright captivating. Volvo pranks newest valet on the Italian Riviera

Not only do you get to watch beautiful people coming and going all day and night, but there's the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a plethora of exotic sports cars. Of course, being responsible for those expensive vehicles has to be pretty nerve wracking to get used to on the first day.
In a new commercial, Volvo pranks a new valet at the San Remo Casino to see how he would handle a surprise showing up on the red carpet. If the look on his face in the screenshot above doesn't show it, he's pretty shocked by what he sees. We don't want to spoil the reveal, so just watch the ad to find out. Volvo planning Golf rival, 'breathtaking' C60 coupe
Wed, 01 May 2013Despite just having refreshed nearly its entire portfolio, Volvo is still in the middle of a big product offensive. Vehicles like the C30 hatchback and C70 convertible have been given the axe, but a brand-new platform is being developed in addition to the Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA) that will underpin larger vehicles. According to Automobile, this means some very interesting newcomers may be on tap for the brand.
Volvo, in collaboration with Geely, is said to be working on a new platform about the size of a Volkswagen Golf that will likely spawn both a sedan and hatchback. Automobile reports that while the automaker's new scalable architecture is quite flexible, it cannot be stretched (or rather, shrunk) to accommodate a smaller vehicle.
Instead, SPA will be used for the company's larger offerings, starting with the V40 on the small end. (Though to our eyes, the current V40 looks plenty Golf-sized to us.) A new XC40 is apparently in the works, as is an S90 flagship, and new versions of the XC60, XC90 and S60 will all be coming based on this new flexible architecture.
