This is a 4 door VOLVO WITH A FREE AND CLEAR TITLE.
The color is black. It is a GLT-S70  I AM SELLING IT "AS IS". I drove it here from Pennsylvania in 2009 and had no issues. I drove it for some time but purchased a new car. I've kept it in my garage but I would drive it around the neighborhood so that it wasn't just sitting. The last time I went to drive it I had to call AAA to come jump it. I also had a new battery put in several months ago.  AAA  said that because it has been so hot and I had it in the garage that it needed a jump start. The battery was recently replaced and the AAA said that the battery was in good condition.
-I think the GLT means it is TURBO, but I am not sure.
I don't know anything about what is wrong with this car but I know it needs some repair. The problems I am aware of are:
-The ignition may need to be replaced. When the key goes in halfway, it starts the car. I know nothing about this other than the info
I provide.
-the air condition stays on.
-there are numerous scratches on the car
-white paint on car (SEE PICS and SEE IN PERSON)
-the car has a shake when you drive
-the wheel shakes. I was told the tires need to be rotated.
-there are some small dents on the car. There is a larger dent on the side of the Volvo that I show a picture of. The dent is above the rear tire.
-the leather is in very good condition.
-the car has over a 169,000 miles on it. (SEE PIC) Volvos are known to last a long time. Under Yahoo it states that Volvos can last up to 380,000 miles.  That sounds like a lot but it is easily researhable.
-the sunroof works fine
-the engine appears to be in good condition. But again you would need to check it out to be certain.  SEE PICS
-I am selling it "as is." I can't stress enough that before you would buy this car that you need to know it is not in excellent condition. It is in fair condition. However, if you know how to work on a car this vehicle can be repaired. When I drove this car I felt safe driving my children in it and that says a lot!
If you are looking for a car that does not need repair this is NOT the car for you. I accept Paypal and cash only!
The title I have and it is free and clear.
SHIPPING IS LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. IF YOU LIVE IN ANOTHER STATE AND WANT TO ARRANGE HAVING IT PICKED UP THAT IS FINE. THE BUYER IS 100% RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING.
I ALSO WILL NOT ACCEPT A RETURN.

2nd annual Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards revealed

Tue, Jan 13 2015

There was some absolutely fantastic auto advertising in 2014, ranging from funny to inspiring. Marking the best of it from the past year, the Second Annual One Show Automobile Advertising of the Year Awards were announced during the 2015 Detroit Auto Show (full disclosure: Autoblog was among the award's sponsors, and Editor-in-Chief Sharon Carty was a voter). Unlike previously, there were no brands with dominance over the list this time. Presented by The One Club, the awards have an international scope and hand out honors in a variety of categories. In the Broadcast TV group, there were three winners this year. First, there was The Scripted Life from Audi for the Q3 about breaking out of life's monotony. Also, Dad's Sixth Sense from Hyundai marketed the safety features in the Genesis. Finally, Unbreakable Drivers showed manly men being tested for the Toyota Hilux in Australia. The Online Video prize went to the fantastic The Epic Split spot from Volvo Trucks starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. The best Interactive ad was the Honda video titled The Other Side for the Civic Type R, and the Experiential Advertising nod was for the Volkswagen Eyes on the Road clip that showed the dangers of texting and driving to a theater full of moviegoers in Hong Kong. Finally, the Public Choice Award went to the BMW commercial called Hello Future using the words of sci-fi author Arthur C. Clarke for the i8. In the award not for videos, Jeep won the Print/Outdoor category for its Upside Down campaign. Check the ads out below, which show different animals when upside down. Also, look farther down for all of the winning videos and read their full announcements. Sunday Drive: Volvo hits a crossover home run, and people still love sports cars

Sun, Sep 24 2017

Looking back at the week that just was clearly tells us at least three things. First, crossovers don't have to be boring. Second, people still love sports cars, from the attainable (Audi TT RS) to the fanciful (Mercedes-AMG GT C). And finally, the traditional German trio of premium luxury brands had better not rest on their laurels, because credible challengers are coming in from every direction. The biggest reveal of the week, at least judging by the interest of Autoblog readers, was the Volvo XC40. Not only is the little 'ute a looker, it introduces some innovative new buying/leasing schemes designed to appeal to an audience accustomed to trading in and trading up every couple of years. Think of Volvo's flat-fee lease as you would a smartphone contract, and you'll be on the right track. Genesis looks to have a hit on its hands in the form of the G70 sport sedan. We took a Korean-spec model for a spin and found a lot to like about the upstart contender. We can't wait to sample one here in the United States to see how it stacks up against the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In other news, we're still really excited to see a production Ford Ranger Raptor. But if you just can't wait for the official reveal — it's OK, neither can we — take a look at the renderings in our post down below. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. Volvo pranks newest valet on the Italian Riviera

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

Being a valet on the Italian Riviera seems like a pretty sweet gig for a young guy. Not only do you get to watch beautiful people coming and going all day and night, but there's the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a plethora of exotic sports cars. Of course, being responsible for those expensive vehicles has to be pretty nerve wracking to get used to on the first day.
In a new commercial, Volvo pranks a new valet at the San Remo Casino to see how he would handle a surprise showing up on the red carpet. If the look on his face in the screenshot above doesn't show it, he's pretty shocked by what he sees. We don't want to spoil the reveal, so just watch the ad to find out. Afterward, if you're interested in the details behind how Volvo made it happen, you can check out a short, making-of documentary, here.
