What you are looking at is a beautiful and spotless 2009 Volvo S40 2.4i. This car runs and drives perfectly and has very low 24500 miles. There are no blemishes on the exterior, I wash and wax the car weekly. The oil was changed 2,000 miles ago with full synthetic. Inside the car there are no stains on the black cloth and leather heated seats (drivers seat is power). This car features Volvo enhanced audio system which includes upgraded speakers, HD radio, Bluetooth, AUX/USB inputs and CD, rain sensing wipers, fog lamps, automatic up and down windows and a power sunroof. What you can not see is that this car has a PA reconstructed title. This Volvo was previously involved in a MINOR flood. There was NO water in this interior. Everything works flawlessly and I have driven the car as my personal car and have had NO issues what-so-ever. Volvo's oldest model earns IIHS Top Safety Pick+ award [w/video]

Volvo ought to be tooting its horn over this one. The XC90, an SUV that has essentially been on sale for over 10 years, just captured a Top Safety Pick+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The TSP+ is a new title, reserved for cars that earn "Good" or "Acceptable" ratings on each IIHS crash test.
This is a difficult feat for a new car - Toyota's new Corolla infamously failed to net a Top Safety Pick+ earlier this year - largely because of the new small overlap front tests, which have left many automakers struggling. But Volvo, somehow, was able to conquer the tests with a car that predates the original iPhone by a few years. The XC90 earning a Top Safety Pick+ is like Betty White taking the gold in the decathlon. With Volvo in the midst of working on the XC90's replacement, we're curious to see just how well a more modern version does in crash testing. Volvo confirms unnamed US model reveal for NY show

Tucked into the press release for the "display debut" of the Volvo V60 Plug-In Hybrid at the New York Auto Show, Volvo snuck in a single line announcing that it will also be introducing a new model for the North American market. As much as we'd love to see the svelte V40 on American roads, we're pretty sure the automaker is looking to fill its US station wagon void with the V60.
The 2014 Volvo V60 is part of a comprehensive lineup update that was unveiled earlier this month in Geneva, and it would give Volvo dealers a conventional wagon (not including the XC70) for the first time since the V70 and V50 were killed off. We'll still be keeping our fingers crossed for the stylish V40 hatchback or the fuel-efficient V60 diesel hybrid, but we have to wait until next week to find out for sure.
