Condition:  This vehicle has been taken care of since i acquired it last May 1, 2013.  There was 96,447 miles when I purchased this vehicle. Vehicle currently has 118,778 gentle miles that I personally placed on the vehicle.  This vehicle has some dents, dings, and scratches.  However, vehicle looks really nice especially after a car wash and waxing.  The vehicles drive train works excellent.  A fuel efficent 4 cylinder that has a turbo incase you need to get somewhere quickly.  The car has great acceleration and sound braking system when necessary.

Features: I replaced all four tires recently.  Front tires are Falken 195 60/R15 88H, Rear tires are Good Year 195 60/R15 88T.  The tires have about 5,000 miles on them.  This car is a 2003 and the alignment is slightly off.  One can see this by the front tire wear.  I kept proper tire pressure in all four tires the entire time I owned this vehicle.  Now may be a good time to do a tire rotation. Simply switch the fronts with the rear. You cannot place the rear tires on the opposite side of the car they are on currently.  They are special rotation tires and must be kept on that side of the vehicle they were originally installed on.  However, you can place them up front being that they have excellent tread.

I replaced the ICV valve when i purchased the vehicle, the spark plugs, the coil pack for all 4 cylinders, fuel filter, air filter, thermostat, cooling hose & rear brake pads.  There are no chips or cracks in the windshield.  The front brake pads are wearing down evenly and will need replacment next 5,000 to 6,000 miles from today.  It may make sense to replace the vehicles front & rear brake rotors.  The rear rotors brand new not refurbished are $65.00 for the pair.  The front rotors are slightly more expensive due to more metal they were around $70.00 or so for the pair.  AUTOZONE is the best for anything needed.  When they couldnt provide me with a part or generic replacement I would go to Volvo in Wall township.  They have a friendly parts desk that can get their hands on anything Volvo.

History:  This vehcile had two other owners. Owner one sold this vehicle with 74,067 miles on drive train.  The second owner decided to trade this vehicle in to MB Motor Sports in Tinton falls NJ with 96,132 miles on the drive train.  I then purchased this vehcile with a down payment on May 1, 2013.  Every 2,000 miles I consistently changed the vehicles oil with CITGO SUPERGARD synthetic blend 5W 30 oil.  Every other oil change I would change the oil filter.  I have the proper oil filter wrench for this Volvo 1.9 Litre Motor. The motor runs strong and the vehicle get's great gas mileage.  Vehicle shifts strong, in and out of gears, and reverse works smoothly.

PLEASE READ FINANCING ATTACHED TO VEHICLE                                                                                                                                                                                          This vehicle currently has financing with Leaders Financial Company (www.leadersfc.com).  If buyer decides to purchase vehcile the full sales price must be given to me the seller.  At that point I will then deposit funds into checking account.  The check may take 2-3 business days to clear into my account.  At that point I can pay off the car note with Leaders Financial Company.  Once paid in full they will send me a car note pay off, and clear bill of sale vehicle title.  I would sign over the vehicles bill of sale/title to the purchaser.  From that moment  the buyer would officially own title and bill of sale.  Clearly they would have to goto motor vehicle to obtain registration, plates, and switch title officially to their name.

I will execute a sales contract with buyer explaining how title will be released to buyer once the current lender is paid in full.  I will detail the process of title/bill of sale release in the sales contract then sign and date.  Buyer could show their attorney this contract and keep one for their files.

Volvo prices revamped 2014 lineup

Thu, 01 Aug 2013

Volvo has made quite a few changes to its US lineup for the 2014 model year. The C30 hatchback and C70 convertible are gone; the S60, S80, XC60 and XC70 have all been reschnozzed; and in a few months, Volvo will bring its V60 wagon across the pond for Stateside consumption. Only the range-topping XC90 carries on unchanged, though a brand new version is expected to launch sometime next year.
The S60 starts as low as $32,400 for the entry level T5 model, and reaches as high as $45,700 for the T6 R-Design Platinum trim. The larger S80 sedan starts at $39,900, with its range-topping T6 Platinum version commanding $48,150. XC70 pricing ranges anywhere from $34,500 for the 3.2 FWD to $45,650 for the T6 Platinum, XC60 numbers span from $34,850 to $49,800, and XC90 prices start as low as $39,700 and as high as $45,400. None of these prices include $895 for destination, and pricing for the swoopy V60 wagon has not been released just yet.
While the majority of Volvo's 2014 model year enhancements are visual, some neat updates have been made mechanically, as well. There's a new Advanced Quick Shift mode for the six-speed automatic transmission that's paired with the turbocharged six-cylinder engine, and Volvo says that the S60 R-Design will now scoot to 60 miles per hour two-tenths of a second quicker (5.3 versus 5.5). In the XC60 R-Design, AQS improves 0-60 acceleration by four-tenths of a second, down to 6.2 from 6.6 seconds.

Volvo Recharge models get more power and electric range

Fri, Sep 10 2021

Volvo Belgium announced a few big improvements for plug-in hybrid models on the automaker's Scalable Product Architecture, meaning the 60 and 90 series Recharge models — S60, V60, XC60, S90, V90 and XC90. First, the battery's been given another layer of cells, upping capacity from 11.6 kWh to 18.8 kWh. At the moment, Volvo's UK site advertises two figures for all-electric range on the WLTP cycle for the XC60 and XC90, and says the S90 can already do 90 kilometers on a charge. The spec pages, however, say the XC60 can do 32 kilometers maximum, the XC90 able to go 30 kilometers. With the new battery, Volvo says all-electric range has improved to up to 90 kilometers (56 miles) on the WLTP cycle, but that will surely depend on model. Our U.S.-market XC90 PHEV is EPA-rated at 18 miles of battery-electric driving. A 62% increase would put that at about 30 miles. Just as good as the battery boost, the 87-horsepower e-motor that powers the rear axle on the Recharge trims is goosed to 145 hp. The T6 Recharge powertrain will make 350 combined horsepower, ten horses more than currently, and the T8 Recharge powertrain will make a combined 455 hp, a considerable 65 horses more than now. That makes the coming T8 the most powerful Volvo ever put into series production. The T8's 2.0-liter twin-charged engine has also been engineered for more efficiency as well as "higher engine power at low revs and at start-up," but Volvo hasn't offered specifics on that yet.  Finally, drivers will be able to control all that go with just the accelerator pedal, Volvo adding single pedal drive on the XC60 Recharge, S90 Recharge, and V90 Recharge. There's no word on when we might see them; introduction sometime during the 2022 model year seems sensible. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Future Polestar Volvo models could feature diesel, EV tech

Tue, 20 May 2014

Volvo's Polestar sub-brand has made the transition nicely from being the company's racing arm to building some seriously cool, Swedish cars. Now that it has a few models under its belt, it plans to grow larger and greener. The next-generation of Polestar-tuned vehicles are rumored to include high-performance hybrid and diesel powertrains.
While it still doesn't have the brand recognition of BMW M or Mercedes-Benz AMG, Polestar is on the growth path. It's representatives recently told Autoblog that its latest, tuned S60 and V60 models "mark the start of an extended production car model range." In addition to that expansion, Volvo has given its performance division a greater responsibility for engineering future vehicles, according to Autocar. It even helped develop the new Drive-E engine, which we quite liked when we took it for a spin in an S60.
Polestar's boss hinted at a hybrid model to Autocar, a move that seems obvious once you think about it. The Drive-E engine was designed from the beginning to accept hybrid layouts. The division's plan is to put and electric motor on the rear axle to both increase torque off the line and provide all-wheel drive. As Drive-E also offers diesel variants, that is in the cards as well for the future, but the company didn't go into much detail. Polestar appears to be the upcoming shooting star of the performance car world.
