Hello, I am selling my 2005 Volvo S60R. It currently has 107,XXX miles on it. It is Titanium grey with blue metallic Nordkap leather interior.
It sports 300hp/295torque from the factory with AWD that is great for any weather conditions. This car has been meticulously cared for with complete fluid refreshes every 20k miles and oil changes at every 5k miles. I paid about $2500 for the Bridgestone Potenza RE760 tires and the Team Dynamics Pro race wheels that weigh less than 19lbs a piece! It has full leather interior with a custom boost gauge installed. The car was detailed every 2 weeks and looks like new. The car is on loan so after payment, you will get the title sent to you ASAP! The bad: Discoloration on drivers seat on the inside. Hard to see, just needs to be dyed. A few chips here and there on the paint, no cracks or deep scratches. New Volvo ad remembers the joy of rear-facing jump seats
Mon, 19 May 2014With the rise in popularity of first the minivan and later the crossover as the default family vehicle, there have been about 20 years of children who have missed out on the joy of rear-facing jump seats in station wagons. It means kids today don't know the pleasure to be found in making faces or lewd gestures at other drivers while their parents can't see. Plus, they don't know the slightly nauseous feeling of watching the world pass by in reverse. However, a group of filmmakers look back with nostalgia at this increasingly uncommon automotive feature in a new ad for the 2015 Volvo V60.
As part of its sponsorship of the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, Volvo commissions a team each year to create an advertisement to be shown during the festival. This year's shows how the company's buyers have gone from riding in the back to driving the brand's cars. Volvo promises new direct-injected diesels, 8-speed auto
Tue, 09 Apr 2013As a part of eliminating its dependence on Ford platforms and powertrains, Volvo has previously announced information about its Volvo Engine Architecture (VEA) and Scalable Platform Architecture (SPA), but now we're finally getting some details about what will power some of the Swedish automaker's next-generation products.
The biggest key to VEA on the diesel engines is a new technology Volvo calls i-ART. This system uses unique injectors at each cylinder capable of monitoring fuel pressure and adjusting accordingly to maximize fuel economy and performance and reduce emissions. Looking ahead, Volvo says its four-cylinder engines will be able to offer the power of a six-cylinder and eventually, mixed with some sort of electrification, will be able to rival the performance of a V8 and "turn V8s into dinosaurs."
