Body work is 7/10 - 2 scratches on drivers door; otherwise exterior is as expected for age. No window chips, cracks or defects. All 4 tires are excellent - Front 2 are brand new (less than 100 miles on them), rear 2 have approx 75% remaining. Interior is in good clean condition, leather has no rips or tears. Headliners is clean (Non-Smokers), All electrics work with exception of driver side headrest DVD Screen - Powers on but not getting signal from player, passenger side works. Remote controls for DVD entertainment system and Navigation included, 2 sets of keys included, summer and winter floor mats included.

Recent maintenance includes:
Brand new front tires 100% ($550) and rears with 75% tread
Replacement of almost the entire front end assembly - front upper strut mounts, strut mount bushes, End Links, Front control arms, ball joints - over $1500 spent on making it feel tight again.

Does not run & cannot be test driven -- requires motor repair -- balance shaft bearing needs replaced hence will sell at low cost.

Starts and runs but can't be driven. Must be towed.

I would ordinarily have done this repair myself however right now I don't have the time to take on another project (already got a '71 Merc 280 on the go) and as this is our spare car its not needed.

Open to offers but be realistic. I know what it takes to repair and engine doesn't need to be dropped for this.

Volvo debuts new Drive-E four-cylinder engines

Fri, 16 Aug 2013

Volvo is introducing a new engine family based on its new Drive-E philosophy, which encompasses "all innovations made to reduce the impact on the environment," the automaker says. Less cylinders allows for less environmental impact, so the new engines are all four-pots. They also were designed to pair easily with Volvo's upcoming hybrid drive system, which "will reach power figures in the V8 territory" and play a "dominant part of the top end of [Volvo's] range," says Derek Crabb, Vice President Powertrain Engineering. Volvo also says we can expect "power curves that give exciting drivability compared with engines with more cylinders."
Volvo says some versions of the engine were designed targeting best-in-class fuel economy. There are both gasoline and diesel options, but the latter of which isn't scheduled for US consumption. Instead, the US will be offered two states of tune of the gasoline Drive-E engine for front-wheel-drive vehicles. Some of Volvo's current all-wheel-drive powertrains will remain available in the US until the company has transitioned solely to the new, fuel-efficient inline-fours.

Translogic 189: 2015 LA Auto Show

Tue, Nov 24 2015

The LA Auto Show has become known for its green cars and concepts, and 2015 was no exception. Translogic host Jonathon Buckley gets all the details on BMW's 330e plug-in hybrid straight from BMW President of North America Ludwig Willisch. Then we get up-to-date on Honda's latest FCX Clarity hydrogen fuel cell car. We round out our tour with a stop at the Elio Motors booth for a look at their updated, three-wheel P5 concept and a chat with CEO Paul Elio. But first, we jump in a time machine at the Volvo booth to discuss Concept 26, an interpretation of how car interiors might evolve in the era of self-driving cars. "The reason why we talked about it as a time machine [is] because, really, Concept 26 is giving you back something that is so precious," explained Volvo senior director of design Tisha Johnson. "We're letting you delegate driving to the car, so that you can then have that time to yourself." Click here to learn more about our host, Jonathon Buckley.
