Fremont, California, United States
This 1987 Scirocco 16v has pretty much been taken apart, cleaned, and put back together. Always well cared for its entire life. My business Partner and I started West Coast Roccos to find these cars, save em, and keep on the road. Purchased this car about 6 months ago from a friend in need to sell. The registration just ran out at the end of January. The car will pass smog with flying colors, i will however pass the car through the local smog shop upon sale so you can just go to your DMV and register. I went through this entire car, All your work is done, and the car is ready to be your daily driver or show car. I just brought it back to an excellent condition. absolutely no rust anywhere on this car. Originally sold in Honolulu HI in 1987. original owners manual and "Ala Moana VW" doc holder included and some original documents. I quickly threw together a video and posted to youtube here:>> youtu.be/0bb-isKGN84 Another recent build sold at Mecum. mecum.com/auctions/lot_detail.cfm?LOT_ID=AN1113-167590 No power steering / No sunroof (extremely rare) A/C blows cold & converted to r134a New Paint New Hood Liner (NASA material) New Bilstein HD shocks New Neuspeed Race springs w/ poly bushings in rear NEW BBS RS reps with new Yokahama S-Drive tires 195/50/15 or Original refinished stock teardrops available.
