This is a fresh dealer trade!

The vehicle was road tested and the engine runs out 110% as it should.

I personally drove this one around for a few days and it does run very well.

The automatic transmission shifts as it should with no issues.

AWD AUTOMATIC V8 with only 85,000 miles!

The body and paint are basically flawless and in great condition!

Tires are fair with lots of life left.

The interior is fully loaded with heated leather and a factory sun roof.

Vehicle is equipped with navigation and all the other bells and whistles.

This vehicle will need serviced, as there are service light indicators displayed on the dash.

Service indicators read - "brake workshop" and "running gear workshop"

The brakes are a bit squeaky and probably need replaced. The rear differential sticks when vehicle is first started and may need the electric differential motor serviced or replaced.

I did some research online and it seems to be a common issue with the Touareg.

This vehicle does run and drive great and it can be driven home.

As shown in the pictures the left kick panel at the drivers feet is missing as is the hood release handle!

Also pictured is the vehicles electronic suspension raised to the off road position to show that it works properly!

At the touch of a button or automatically the vehicle will raise and or lower a few inches to accomadate the terrain!

This is a very nice vehicle and only shows normal wear and tear and is in very presentable condition.

Please look at the pictures, I think they speak for them selves. This Touareg is very nice to say the least!

Please keep in mind this is a used vehicle and it is not new, it was driven daily.

As with any used vehicle, You can expect normal wear and tear such as but not limited to stone chips, dings, dents, fading, dirt, and anything else that comes with a used vehicle.

I strongly encourage buyers to come and inspect the vehicle in person or call me on the phone to ask questions.

I will try to the best of my ability to answer all questions that might be asked.

Please remember I am only human and I can not possibly mention every small detail.

If you wish to know something about a certain area of concern, Please ask and I will look.

The Touareg looks great and shows very well.

This will make someone very, very happy.

Please view all pictures and ask questions before bidding.

Please bid with confidence I have a 100% feedback rating

Volkswagen Golf Wagon leaked ahead of official unveiling

Sat, 02 Mar 2013

Wagons ho! These three images of the upcoming Volkswagen Golf Wagon have leaked online ahead of the car's official debut, which may very well be at the Geneva Motor Show. Looking over the photos doesn't really bring any surprises - after all, this is a VW Golf with a wagon rear end grafted on, or basically what we expect next Jetta SportWagen will be.
We can only share these three images at this time, but fret not, folks. There's little doubt that all the details and images will be flowing from Volkswagen in short order. In the meantime, click on the images above to view them in high resolution.

Brand new cars are being sold with defective Takata airbags

Wed, Jun 1 2016

If you just bought a 2016 Audi TT, 2017 Audi R8, 2016–17 Mitsubishi i-MiEV, or 2016 Volkswagen CC, we have some unsettling news for you. A report provided to a US Senate committee that oversees the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and reported on by Automotive News claims these vehicles were sold with defective Takata airbags. And it gets worse. Toyota and FCA are called out in the report for continuing to build vehicles that will need to be recalled down the line for the same issue. That's not all. The report also states that of the airbags that have been replaced already in the Takata recall campaign, 2.1 million will need to eventually be replaced again. They don't have the drying agent that prevents the degradation of the ammonium nitrate, which can lead to explosions that can destroy the airbag housing and propel metal fragments at occupants. So these airbags are out there already. We're not done yet. There's also a stockpile of about 580,000 airbags waiting to be installed in cars coming in to have their defective airbags replaced. These 580k airbags also don't have the drying agent. They'll need to be replaced down the road, too. A new vehicle with a defective Takata airbag should be safe to drive, but that margin of safety decreases with time. If all this has you spinning around in a frustrated, agitated mess, there's a silver lining that is better than it sounds. So take a breath, run your fingers through your hair, and read on. Our best evidence right now demonstrates that defective Takata airbags – those without the drying agent that prevents humidity from degrading the ammonium nitrate propellant – aren't dangerous yet. It takes a long period of time combined with high humidity for them to reach the point where they can rupture their housing and cause serious injury. It's a matter of years, not days. So a new vehicle with a defective Takata airbag should be safe to drive, but that margin of safety decreases with time – and six years seems to be about as early as the degradation happens in the worst possible scenario. All this is small comfort for the millions of people who just realized their brand-new car has a time bomb installed in the wheel or dashboard, or the owners who waited patiently to have their airbags replaced only to discover that the new airbag is probably defective in the same way (although newer and safer!) as the old one.

VW's Winterkorn tells 20,000 staffers of big cost-cutting plans

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

During a gathering of 20,000 Volkswagen Group employees at company headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany on Wednesday, CEO Martin Winterkorn dropped a bombshell. The boss stated that the automaker isn't operating efficiently enough and admitted the company needs to radically start cutting back to raise its profit margins. To right the ship, Winterkorn has proposed killing off less profitable models and spending less on research and development.
According to Reuters, Winterkorn wants to raise the VW brand's profit margin from about 2.9 percent in 2013 to a target of 6 percent. To make that possible, his plan amounts to increasing cost cutting until Volkswagen reaches about 5 billion euros ($6.7 billion) per year to get things back in order. "Over the short-term, we urgently need more efficiency and higher profit," the CEO said during his speech, according to Reuters.
However, Winterkorn can't make these decisions unilaterally. Volkswagen's works council also has a seat on the supervisory board to represent laborers, and it isn't likely to take the proposed cuts sitting down.
