2006 Volkswagen Passat 2.0t on 2040-cars
Atlanta, Georgia, United States
A/C ice cold, Excellent condition, Looks & drives great, Mostly highway miles, Never seen snow, No accidents, Non-smoker, Very clean interior, Well maintained. I just had the clutch, flywheel, and slave clutch cylinder replaced ($2k value) by VW dealer about 1000 miles ago. I had the timing belt changed ($1k value) at the 100k mile marker. I consistently have oil changed every 7k miles, while recommended is 10k miles by VW dealer. Car has a manual transmission and is very fun to drive.. The car has some cosmetic damage from regular wear and tear but still looks great. The peeling you see on the radio and side panels is a common problem for VW Passat unfortunately. Great price for car especially considering all of the recent maintenance!! Still have a lien on title so we would have to create bill of sale, and bank would send title to you after payment has cleared. This is a great car and I still drive it a few times a week to work to keep in good condition. I am only selling because I have a second car and do not need two vehicles at the moment. CASHIERS CHECK OR CASH ONLY!!! If cashier's check I will call the bank and verify before accepting deal!! Email or Call with any questions.

Editors' Choice: Top Five 2013 Geneva Motor Show Debuts
Fri, 08 Mar 2013We've returned from a very busy week in Switzerland, and in going back over all of our 75 stories from the Geneva Motor Show, our editors have gathered up their personal favorite debuts from the European expo.
The wonderful thing about the Geneva show is just how wide of an array of vehicles are on display - everything from funny little one-off EVs to the most exotic of supercars to, well, truly ridiculous displays of coachbuilding. And because of that, this list of our editors' favorites might not be as predictable as you think.
But we don't want to give anything away just yet. Scroll down to have a look at our team's favorites from Geneva.
New VW Beetle Convertible ad needs no disguise
Mon, 18 Feb 2013Convertibles make you do funny things. Ask someone if they'd drive a hardtop in near freezing temperatures with all the windows down and they might not even answer, thinking the question so ridiculous. Give that same person a convertible they love and you might just have to ask them to please put the top up even when snow is on the ground.
That guy has to take precautions to enjoy his proclivities, and as this new ad for the Volkswagen Beetle Convertible shows, not everyone understands. Have a watch below, and note that there's just one woman in the minute-long spot, and she's nowhere near the car. Seriously, why didn't VW run this commercial during the Super Bowl?
VW readying two-row CUV concept for Detroit
Wed, Dec 10 2014We're likely getting yet another glimpse of Volkswagen's future crossover at the upcoming 2015 North American International Auto Show in Detroit, in January. According to Automotive News, two anonymous sources within the automaker indicate a CUV concept will be shown there. The concept is said to be a five-passenger preview of the brand's future seven-seat model. Previous versions of the crossover have carried the name CrossBlue (pictured above), but there was no indication whether or not that would continue. The original three-row concept debuted at the 2013 auto show in Detroit, and VW followed it up with the CrossBlue Coupe Concept in Shanghai later that year. In early 2014, the company announced the CUV would go into production sometime in 2016, along with plans to invest $7 billion in North America over the next five years. During the summer, the automaker made things even more official when it declared plans to invest $900 million to build a 538,000-square-foot expansion into its Chattanooga, TN, factory to assemble the new model. Production of the crossover was slated to begin by the end of 2016, at the time. According to Automotive News, even more changes in VW's CUV lineup are on the way. The Tiguan is reportedly getting an update next year that could be joined by coupe and long-wheelbase variants, as well.
